Title No Tail to Tell Spoiler
I'm enjoying the direction this is going. It's interesting, in most cases the friend who got hurt would be the main character. Right? I mean, he got his fate taken from him then his wish was granted give him back his life. That's main character stuff. But he's not our lead. I like that twist.
I do hope that there's less "look at all the crazy stuff the FL does" going forward. We already established all this in the first episode so it's a little repetitive. Like did we need that scene where she makes a chair? Anyway, other than that minor criticism, I think it's good.

Did you say SECOND coma? lol, what even is this show.
I know the others, but what does VH stand for? They really should put this in the tags or something. Even Netflix has it listed as simply "romance" has no warnings other than for language.

Also I wanted a confession scene where they explicitly say 'love' rather than 'like' and we only got that from…

I'm loving it, but this teenage character is unlikeable and seems completely pointless. Her competitiveness with…
Yeah, I mean I know that teens are moody and irrational but I hope they give her character some depth. Right now it's very one note "I hate you because you have better grades than me! Instead of studying hard to beat you I'll sulk and throw tantrums!" Like okay, we get it. I sort of zone out during those scenes.
On Can This Love Be Translated? Jan 17, 2026
I'm halfway through the first episode and feel like I missed something. The show didn't do anything to make me care about the FL who is apparently having such a tragic moment in her life. It just threw me in without any emotional hook.
I'm really not trying to be a hater. I know that people will tell me "keep watching, it gets explained" but that's the problem. I have no curiosity to find out. I really want to know how so many people apparently have watched the whole thing already, lol. Anyway, maybe it's just not for me. Sad, I like both the lead actors. (p.s., where are the FL's eyebrows? why so light?)
On No Tail to Tell Jan 17, 2026
I liked the first episode for the most part. It was like a prologue, so the story will really start in the next episode. The FL reminds me of someone, maybe the SFL in My Roommate is a Gumiho? I don't know if that's the right show, the way she acts is so familiar. I'm not saying it's a bad thing, I just kept trying to figure out who she reminds me of. And I don't mind how she acts. If I lived forever maybe I'd treat humans like dolls too. The point of the show is for her to have character growth, right? So she has to start as selfish.
So anyway, it wasn't the best first episode I've ever seen, but it wasn't bad either. It's a little more silly than I was expecting.

This is random, but I like that we see Jira wearing the same clothes more than once. He's supposed to be broke, so he doesn't have an extensive wardrobe.

crazy take. Jira wasn't even suppose to be there! Pheem just wanted to deal with his feelings on his own. You…
I'm saying, even if he was alone, using violence is not healthy. Regardless of if Jira was present.
On Burnout Syndrome Jan 15, 2026
Lowkey the rage room scene was a huge turn off for me. I'm not talking about the acting, that was good. It's just, I've been around people who use violence as an outlet for their emotions, and it's not healthy, and it's not safe to be around people like this. Rage rooms sound like a nice idea, but getting used to violence as a crutch is bad. So I mostly just felt uncomfortable during that scene, and felt like Pheem was acting like a spoiled child who isn't getting what he wants.

Anyway, Pheem acting that way made Jira inspired to draw him... What did our girl Ing say? That Jira gets inspired by scum? Something like that. Then we had Koh using any and all types of manipulation to get Jira to help him sleep. He was so desperate that he went in the club. Remember, avoiding this sort of situation is literally why he hired Jira in the first place. He needs to realize that stunts like the one he pulled to force a confrontation between himself, Pheem, and Jira are the reason he's alone at night. Hopefully he starts to get some clarity, we'll see. Loving it so far, the episodes just fly by.

This complicated mess of a show is perfection! We are simply not talking enough about Off's acting in this series.…
I feel like Pheem is upset because Jira is a person he really wants but keeps saying no. Finding out that Koh is Jira's boss made it worse, made it into a competition. Ever since then it's been like he doesn't want Koh to "win" but what's making him angry is his insecurity. Pheem's afraid that he'll fail and Koh will win yet again.

Who did Pheem take his anger out on in this episode? Jira. He ignored calls and avoided him. In his eyes, punishing Jira by refusing to allow him to get any resolution. When Jira tracks him down he smashes things (I think trying to scare Jira) and yells at him. But imo, Koh is the one who deserved that rage. So why didn't he go confront Koh? Because Koh makes him feel inferior. That's why Jira is drawing him with stark black lines, and sharp edges.

yh they already know. They talked about it in one of the reaction videos. Jira's scenes with Koh were shot first…
Okay, thanks, I usually don't watch any bts or other content until after a series has ended so I haven't seen that. Does that mean that Gun's hair has been short only in scenes with Off this whole time and I just noticed now? Guess I'm really not very observant, lol.
On Burnout Syndrome Jan 8, 2026
This is random, but watch Gun's hair in this episode. It goes from longer to shorter, then in the previews for the next episode it's longer again. I know shows aren't shot in order, but I usually don't notice. Is it just me, or did anyone else notice the hair length change dramatically?

I am so glad you pointed that how Pheem literally have a one night stand when he couldn't get Jira. People love…
Right? This isn't a BL with a clear good guy or bad guy. People rooting for Pheem are also getting tricked by his pretty face. I mean, they clearly say it. They think Dew is hotter than Off. I don't think they're paying attention to the plot.

Title Burnout Syndrome Spoiler
Both Pheem and Koh are red flags. It seems like people forgot the whole first part of the episode where we see Pheem's toxic nature. He tries to put up a facade to trick Jira. Pretending to like the same things, even getting a tattoo to win Jira over(!?). But when he fails to sleep with Jira he goes and finds someone else on the same night. Not exactly saint material. That's why it was so great for Jira to see through it, saying that Pheem hasn't shown him his "ugly" side yet.

Koh... He's fighting dirty, I'm not defending him. He was so cruel to Jira. Honestly, I'm sort of happy that the writers let Koh stay evil for a while. I didn't want him to suddenly be a totally different character, if that makes sense? Watching him looking for those flowers all day I was like "what, now he's a sweet heart?" and I was lowkey disappointed. It's not realistic for him to randomly become nice. And wow, he really didn't. Good.

Right now I don't even care about the romance aspect, it's more like a power struggle. Jira really is in over his head I think.

She didn't have to go as far as saying she doesn't listen to music at all, lol. She could have said "I'm a fan of Gold Boys" and it wouldn't have been weird at all. I mean, in this drama they're a very popular group. I feel like she panicked and made the lies way worse than they needed to be. I get it, but also she's an experienced lawyer who should do well under pressure. But it's just a show, and I can let it slide.

I agree, I thought it was totally over the top the way she reacted to the dating rumors. No grown up fan should be that upset that a celebrity is just living their life. But it was just that scene that bothered me, I feel like she's seeing him as a regular person now.
I'll be honest, if I was the ML and I found all that merch hidden in the attic, I'd have dragged it out too! Get it all in the open. The FL made a mistake to lie like she did, and now she can't avoid it anymore.

What's up with the ex? She broke up with the ML in an incredibly cruel and harsh way and now is like "we never broke up!" And is trying to replace his lawyer with someone she chooses? He better not go back to the ex during a low point now that he's feeling betrayed by the FL.

I'm increasingly wondering if some people even watched the drama properly up to this episode. ML is literally…
Literally! I saw your comment first and had to scroll to find people saying like "she's a fan, so what?" What do they mean, so what?? She just spent time with him lying saying she doesn't listen to music and that she has no hobbies, and now he finds an attic full of merchandise with his face on it?
Now he realizes that she lied and is at least a super fan, or possibly a saesang. He'll probably think back on all those times that she knew little details about him, or that she had his brand food, etc. He won't be able to trust anything, knowing how much she hid from him.
I feel like the show laid it all out very clearly, it's bizarre how some people are genuinely not understanding.

What the fuck is wrong with this series? Or should I say wtf is wrong with Fan Xiao? That guy has NO redeeming…
I very strongly disagree with anyone saying that Xiao redeems himself or that you'll want Shulang to take him back. Still, I'd encourage you to keep watching. Not because Xiao deserves Shulang, but because maybe he doesn't need to.
