Probably because other than the cast and acting, there is nothing good about it. It is one of those dramas that makes you feel empty at the end and wonder why you even watched it.

The romance part was doomed from the beginning but at least the palace politics part could make up for it, right? Well, that did not happen. And I guess that is the reason why this is getting such low ratings from both Chinese viewers and other drama viewers around the world.

I really tried liking Ming Yi but he was easily the most selfish character in this drama. At least the bad guys were upfront about being bad and greedy, but Ming Yi put on a fake pretense that he was one of the good guys and that he only wanted what was the best for his country. No, the truth is he only wanted what was the best for HIM.

I liked the cast and the acting, but the plot was honestly a torture to watch. I actually skipped to the last episode after watching episode 41 and did not even bother to wait for the rest to be subbed because I just wanted to get it over with.

Honestly, even if you like the actors, I would only recommend this drama to you if you are into lovers separated, everyone unhappy, people making promises that they do not keep, ... and all kinds of frustrating and dramatic events you can imagine.

Even the palace politics part of the drama was not as good as a lot of other dramas I have watched.

Not even Begin Again is getting subs. As far as I know they only subbed the first 4 eps and everything else is being subbed by fans.

Let’s see. Episode 10 came out on the 20th. Neko uploaded it fully subbed on the 21st, that is 1 day. How is that slow?
Have you ever watched thai dramas before? They are not like Korean dramas that get the episodes subbed a few hours after they air. 1 or 2 days later is as fast as it can get for thai dramas.

Like I previously said, Neko is the fastest and most reliable thai subber I know and I know A LOT if not ALL of them.
A few years ago thai dramas were barely being subbed and now there are so many people voluntarily subbing. What makes you think you have the right to complain about something you are getting for free? I would not be surprised if your name is Karen. I bet you are one of those people that walks up to a stand where a kind hearted person is offering food for free to help people during the pandemic and you complain there is no sugar for you to make a cake. Sigh - . -

Well, I also dont always comment on dramas that I did not like that much, unless I hated them. Then I REALLY have to leave a comment to spare some people of the torture I had to go through.

This is pretty bad.

The female lead does not show that much hate for the male lead, the male lead does not show that much love for her, they have no chemistry or show much feelings for each other or anything else really, the story itself is like an empty shell, there is at least one ridiculous unnecessary death that added nothing to the plot which was already a bunch of nothing, and lets not forget this is 40 episodes long. 40 episodes of pure torture and not because its a melodramatic drama, but because its just that bad.

So, unless you have nothing else to watch, and I mean nothing, then watch this.

Its an ok drama since its short and something you could watch when you have nothing else to watch. The main issue is that because it is so short, they really rushed the first part of the story and then the other part felt draggy and boring somehow. Also, the acting was not the best, sometimes you could tell the actors were not sure what they were supposed to do next. This is actually not surprising since it was the female lead actress first drama and the first lead role for the male lead. So they clearly dont have much experience yet.

The Sun physically impacts our health because it is vey hot and is perfectly positioned. If it was closer the temperatures would be too high for us to be able to live, if it was further away, the entire planet would be like the North Pole. But from that to planets deciding our fate is a huge jump.
I personally believe whatever happens to us in life is the result of our choices, the environment around us and time and place.

For example, if I make bad choices like doing drugs, surround myself with bad people and am at the wrong place and wrong time due to those choices, I have more chances of ending up in jail or even dead compared to any regular person. That is not fate, that is the consequence of my actions/choices.

I already knew because I keep updated with a bunch of drama sites and fansubs on a daily basis. I did not check if the subs are good though. When it comes to Chinese apps, its either 8 or 80, you either get no subs/automatic translations or you get decent subs. I will check it later when I have nothing to watch.

I know, sorry that I had to break the bad news to you. This is why I replied to the top comment saying I was going to wait for it to finish airing. I just cant imagine watching this on a weekly basis when I will have to wait until 2021 to watch the last episode. I might as well forget about it and watch other dramas until then.

It aired on the 10th, today is the 17th and only 1 episode has come out (the 2nd will probably air today). Also, it says it will finish airing in January so if you do the math, it cant be 2 episodes per week when it is supposed to be only 10 episodes long.

Usually the info about the airing days is wrong. Just recently I was watching a drama that aired on Monday and Tuesday and here on MDL it said Tuesday and Wednesday.

He did not lie or pretend. He just avoided the question and asked where she was. He was caught by surprise when she asked that. He is about to go and tell her the truth and then she asks a question that he doesnt know how to answer and that will give away the truth in the most unwanted way. He wanted to be able to tell her in person. Which is why I was angry at the writers. They made her find out this way just to add more drama. How come she took the grandma’s phone by mistake? So you are telling me they have the exact same model and background picture??

Oh well, this is not the worst drama I have watched this year but definitely not the best either. At this point I am just watching to see how it ends, but I am worried about the way it is going. They better not pull a cliché situation like NDS going away for a few years, SDM starting to date HJP and then NDS comes back to South Korea and she becomes confused again and breaks up with HJP to go and date SDM. If she is going to be with NDS, I hope she understands her feelings soon and does not mess with HJP. I am done with all the drama and this cliché love triangle. If they do something like this, the rating will suffer a big deal.

The link I used at the time was for their wix website and it is not working anymore. They have deleted a lot of dramas and some like In Time With You are missing the last few episodes for months and probably will never have these episodes uploaded.

First I was angry at the fact the the whole restaurant scene where NDS was supposed to tell her the truth was just him having a drunk breakdown, although I was not surprised that they made a bogus preview about it, I was still mad. Then the episode kept dragging with so many chances of him telling her the truth but nothing happened. And when he finally reached the conclusion that it would be better for him to be the one to tell her instead of her finding through someone else, I knew where it was going.

Like really? The writers chose the most frustrating and hurtful way for her to find the truth. Now everyone will feel like trash after this because no one told her the truth and she found out the hard way. Sigh

I just finished watching episode 9 and I am pretty mad at the writers right now. Tell me if you already watched so I can rant about it. I dont want to spoilt it for you in case you havent.

Personal yes, romantic I just dont feel it. But like I said, that could and will probably change the moment she finds out he was the one writing the letters.

I agree and think the same about any other second lead in any other drama. If he is not going to get the girl, why torture him? Sometimes I think drama writers are sadists or even psychopaths. They enjoy torturing the characters.

She does definitely see him as important, like when she made sure he would be their mentor no matter what. I just personally did not see these things in a romantic light. I just think they have a great working relationship/friendship but other than that, she does not seem to be interested on a romantic level, which might change after she finds out he was the one sending her the letters.

There could always be a plot twist. They could have promoted NDS just to fool us and then make her end up with HJP. Though I do believe they did not think that far and will probably go the predictable route.

I do remember another Chinese drama I watched a few years ago. The male lead and female lead were sold as a package to the viewers and they were together for most of the drama. The second male lead was her best friend. Then a few episodes near the end, she realizes she actually loves the second male lead and they end up together. One of the few dramas where this happens. Coincidently, in real life the actors playing the female lead and second male lead actually got married.
