Agreed, as much as I wanted to like it since the original was so popular, I think this kind of plot is very dated.…
Yeah. Most remakes are never good and if you try to make a remake of a drama that might have been popular 15 years ago but was full of what we consider clichés nowadays, of course it is not going to be well received. Because what was new and exciting then, now it is just predictable and frustrating to watch. Maybe I would have liked this kind of plot back when I started watching asian dramas, but now that I have been through several drama tropes like amnesia, kidnappings, truck of doom, evil mother-in-law and so on, this kind of plot is a pain to watch if its not executed well.
On 365: Repeat the Year Apr 29, 2020
I was unsure about this having only 12 eps (or 24 depending on the perpective) and I did feel there were some things that needed explaining. But then if this had 4 more episodes the story would probably drag and since this is based on a japanese drama I am not surprised we were left with so many questions.

Part of me also wishes there was romance. I mean, it is kinda there, it is implied that they have feelings for each other but this is not fully explored. But since the plot was interesting enough and the drama was shorter than your usual kdrama, I was able to deal with the lack of romance. I liked the drama and was excited each and every episode that came out but at the same time there were a lot of things that I predicted and the ending was good but not satisfying at the same time. Oh well, I have mixed feelings so it is hard to explain. I think I wanted more. T T

Would anyone recommend this drama if you're ok with skipping (I generally skip everything w/o the main leads)…
If you are looking for something fluffy and cute, this is not the drama. This is based on an older drama so it is very cliché and dramatic. There are a lot of accidents going on, the main leads spend most of the drama apart and the romantic scenes are not enough to make up for all the frustrating things that are going on. Tell me 1 or 2 dramas in the genre that you really liked and I might be able to recommend you something you would like. I have watched plenty of fluffy and cute dramas. XD
On Forget You Remember Love Apr 28, 2020
I did not watch the original so my opinion is solely based on this version. I think this drama has some serious pacing and plot issues. You are given about 4 episodes of character introduction and shown what is going on in their lives. Then in the next 2 eps you see the male lead lose his memory and by the end of episode 6 he is already in love with the female lead. Then you get like 10 more episodes or so of them spending time together and then guess what, another accident happens and he regains his memory while losing the memories he made with the female lead (this is not a spoiler, it is revealed in the synopsis). And then you have over half of the drama of pain for everyone and the male lead being mostly a jerk. Also, there are lots of accidents happening all the time. By the time you reach the end of the drama you wonder why you even wasted your time watching it.

Be it the plot, the romance, or even just the characters, there was nothing I truly liked about this drama. In fact, I finished it in only a day and not because I wanted to binge-watch it because it is so good, but because I kept skipping scenes as I just wanted to get it over with. Maybe this is your kind of drama, maybe I would have liked it more had I watched it 10 years ago, but in 2020 this kind of plot is nothing new or entertaining to watch.

So now that BL is banned China is mimicking Korean crossdress dramas?Edit:I regret posting such a short comment…
There has always been a lot of cross dressing in Chinese historical dramas. In fact, it is hard to find a drama where the female lead does not pretend to be a man at least once throughout the drama. lol
So I dont think it has anything to do with the bans going on over there. They are always banning stuff anyway.

Title When My Love Blooms Spoiler
yes. she cheats on him but he finds out as soon as he is released from jail
Ok, thank you for explaining. I dont like relationships that start when one or both of the main leads are still in a relationship with someone else, especially if there is a marriage and kids involved. My guess from reading the synopsis is he either married her because there was some kind of advantage to doing so, like she being rich and having important connections or something or because she got pregnant. All points to him marrying her for some reason other than loving her.

Well, to be honest I didn't like Min Jung at all, but I do agree that You Ri had it the hardest.
Why did you not like her? I usually never like the second female lead, especially when she is the reason the main leads cant be together, but here I just couldnt hate her.

Oh ok, so as long as he divorces her first then I am all in for a second chance at love. I hope they dont get together while he is still married. Just because his wife is cheating does not mean he should do the same. lol

Title Once Again
I can tell most of the plot just by watching the trailer and looking at the cast. My guess is at least one of those divorced couples is getting back together after some interference from their respective first loves as they realize they still love each other despite all the bickering. I know you know who I am talking about. lol

I am not sure I would sit through 100 (or 50) episodes of such a predictable and cliché plot. Oh well, maybe if I have nothing else to watch.
On When My Love Blooms Apr 27, 2020
Wait, is the male lead still married when they meet again? And I can see from the cast he also has a son with his wife. Please give me spoilers.

I had the same thought! And I'm still half convinced that the real Eraser is a woman.
Yup, same thing. And in the preview the female lead saying "I will let you read ALL of my memories" got me thinking about what if what he has read so far is only what she has allowed him to read? What if she is the Eraser? There is still a chance that everyone so far were just decoys. I guess we will only be sure about who the Eraser is in the last episode.

I'm kinda really really sad I couldn't see what everyone else saw in this drama.
Well, if it makes you feel better, I know I liked the experience overall, it felt like a breath of fresh air to watch this in between the other dramas I am watching, but I did feel bored several times and I know I would never re-watch this kind of drama. Slice of life is not really my kind of drama so I have only liked a few dramas that are heavy on this genre. I mostly watch rom-coms, criminal/thriller and historical dramas.
On When the Weather Is Fine Apr 23, 2020
This is definitely not the kind of drama that you feel like binge-watching and cannot wait for the next episode to air. This is more of a slice of like kind of drama. Even the way it ends does not feel like an ending or a conclusion to the story (hope you dont consider this a spoiler) but just the end of one of many chapters in the characters’ lives.

Usually I am not into this kind of drama and I did feel bored at times while watching it, but it felt like a breath of fresh air between all the other dramas I am watching. Also, we are in the middle of a pandemic and cannot really leave our houses, so seeing other people going out to farm, to school or just going out to eat, it feels somewhat entertaining and kind of nostalgic?! I dont even know how to explain it. Just give it a try and see if you like it.

Title Find Me in Your Memory Spoiler
idk why but i can't wait till hajin remembers the past. i hope she wouldn't be destroyed but I feel like it's…
Yeah, I agree. But I think she won’t take it well. Not only because of what happened in the past but because she will feel guilty for dating her dead best friend’s boyfriend. She will probably even break up with him. This is what my experience in drama watching is telling me. I have been guessing everything else right so far, like how she was the friend, how she cannot remember the past because of her friend’s death, how her stalker was the director (I mean, he had those crazy eyes), ...

I still have fun watching even if it is predictable. The first episode was nothing special, then ep 2 was a little better and since then this drama grew on me. There is something special about it even if the plot is average.
On Find Me in Your Memory Apr 23, 2020
I usually wait for both episodes to be out to watch them together, but after the way last week’s episode ended, I could not wait for today’s episode to air to watch the one that came out yesterday. And I do not regret doing that since it ended on such a good note. So I can wait for today’s episode patiently. ^ ^

Hime for the Gold. Imagine I Just moved this from plan to watch to currently watching for when I do my bing. Sigh.…
Yeah, and the ending is a little....well, this has the Tragedy tag so I am sure you know what I mean. Going through 50 episodes of a confusing and boring plot to get that ending would have been a waste of time.

They are getting the subs from the youtube channel tho, so it would be faster to watch it there.
