Finally done. I would never watch this again even if you paid me....well, maybe I would, but can I like read a book while I "watch" it and still get paid? lol

Anyway, this was definitely painful to watch and not in a good way. Some dramas are painful or sad or have a tragic ending but you can keep going because the story is good. Not the case here. This is literally a drama about a playboy male lead who slept with almost every female character introduced to the story and a female lead that puts up with this waste of space until she is done with him...or is she? And the ending is the typical lakorn ending with people dying, people going to jail and people "redeeming" themselves. Honestly, there is nothing remarkable about this drama.

I just want to point out a thing. This is supposedly going to have a second season. So some of the issues you mentioned might still be addressed. I was mostly unimpressed by the last few episodes. I was expecting more of the ending too. But I will wait and see if a second season comes out and it gives us a better wrap up.

You mean the female lead? Yeah, at first she was doing whatever she could to get away then she was just going around and doing her thing. I guess she just likes being in control. She is almost like a cat, wants to be all independent but then comes back to you when its time for food. lol

Not necessarily. I have been watching dramas for almost 10 years now and there have been several romantic dramas that had an unpredictable plot. What I mean is that they give so much away about this drama that even without watching I can guess most of what will happen, but then this is a family drama and most of them have similar plots. Anyway, I might still give it a try, I am just not sure when because it is a lot of episodes and I am sure I will be frustrated at all the divorces and supporting characters delaying people being together. But oh well, I will probably still watch it. xD

Glad my comments are helpful. No one likes wasting time going into a drama that they will eventually drop. If you like cats, then you should be able to enjoy this one. This drama was shot very well because the cat they use for the role of the "male lead" is always shot in a way as if he is actually communicating with the female lead and worrying about her and stuff. For me that alone would be enough to keep watching, but the story itself is not bad. Give it a try and see if you like it. It is only 12 eps long so it is not even that long.

Yeah but the way it was executed was sloppy. As much as I did enjoy this drama I cannot shake off the feeling there was too much going on and at the same time nothing was happening. It was a very weird experience to watch this drama. Not a bad one, but one I cannot fully understand. lol

I liked it but I am biased because of my love for cats. I almost dropped it tho because at first I was getting angry with the way the female lead treated the cat. Thankfully that changed fast. But even if I love cats, I am not going to say this is an amazing drama. This is definitely one of those light watches for when you have some free time and want to enjoy something relaxing in between other dramas.

Not really. Lately they have been releasing a lot of properly subbed dramas. But they are mostly new dramas that are quite popular. I agree that they probably wont fix the subs on this one tho.

Yeah, definitely not. You would get tired of this one really fast. It is just not worth watching unless you are completely new to the drama world or have a liking for frustrating, melodramatic and overly cliché plots.

haha glad I could help. When you said you wanted something fluffy, I knew we were in sync in terms of preferences so I automatically had a bunch of dramas to recommend. lol

I did see some similarities to repeat the year in the romance department. But here it is even more subtle. The way it ended makes us certain that there is a strong and beautiful friendship between the main leads. There are hints of a possible romance, especially with the last few seconds of their conversation, but it is not as obvious as it was in repeat the year. One could argue they are just friends, nothing more and nothing less. So if you decide to watch this, watch it for the thriller/mystery part.

The last 2 episodes were a little predictable (at least for me) and not as exciting to watch. But they managed to wrap up things nicely. 8/10

Not a bad thing. You can enjoy life more that way. But always remember not everyone is a good person so avoid going out alone at night or sharing too much about yourself on social media.

Yeah, I dont believe so either. In fact, this time it seems the prosecutor is the one with the twisted personality. I think the writers are trying to mess with our heads, making us question even who is who, but I am pretty sure the actors are playing the same people in both lives. And I think there is still more to find out about the past cause clearly the detective was stabbed but his skull was intact, in fact the killer should have been the one with a shattered skull since he shot himself in the head....or did he? Who did the whole funeral thing? Where did the book and the rope come from? There are a lot of things we dont know yet. And I like that because that is what will keep the story interesting.

Yeah. I know what you mean. If you watch a few true crime videos on youtube you will find out that in modern day serial killings and horrific deaths are more common than you think.

I have watched all the dramas you mentioned and I have watched until ep 14 of the drama Girlfriend. I think I know exactly what kind of drama you are looking for and I can think of a "few". Definitely give Girlfriend a try, I think you will like it.
Also, here are some dramas you might enjoy: Love Better Than Immortality, Love The Way You Are, My Fantastic Mrs Right (just finished this one, watch on dramanice for proper eng subs), The Eternal Love 1 and 2, The Love by Hypnotic, The Romance of Hua Rong, Time Teaches Me to Love, To Get Her.

They are mostly historical ones because it is my favourite genre for chinese dramas and some might have dramatic moments because no drama is always just happiness, but most of it is fluff, romance, and comedy. So at least some of these might be to your liking.

Yeah. I think that was missing. I have no idea why they did not show how the other people who also did the reset were living their lives or why they did not reserve more time for the meeting between the detective and the writer. We know they are not just friends, there is more going on, so it would have been nice to see them going on a date with Maru or something. XD

Yeah. That is how I know that I liked this drama. Because I was left with that empty feeling of it not being enough or not knowing what to watch next.
