You mean this drama? If you want to know how I rated it, I gave it a 3/10. And that was because I felt sorry for the cast that wasted their time on this. The female lead was just made to be the most annoying character of the entire drama. There is no way I would be able to keep watching.

Ikr? I am as confused as you. I thought this would have finished airing by now and was going to start watching it. Now I am not so sure if I should start watching anyway or wait a little longer.

It is not a bad drama, but not as good as some others I have watched in this genre. The story is incomplete so I am pretty sure there will be at least another season. I will wait for it to come out and watch it so I can decide how to rate this drama.

That is a relief. I was trying to decide if I was going to give this a try or not as the trailer made it seem like the female lead will be everyone’s punching bag. But if you say the storyline is good and since you have been releasing new eps every day, I assume this is worth a try.

I also find it weird they used the same actor in both this remake and the previous one, but I think his casting makes more sense now because of the age gap. In the other remake he did not look older than the female lead, here he does, because the actors have a 20 year age gap...which also means the romance department will suffer a bit. Probably we wont get any kisses.

I have finished it and although it had a slow start it was pretty entertaining. This is 23 episodes long but I did not feel it was draggy. I have to correct a few things from the synopsis tho.

He has no girlfriend, she is just a childhood friend who is delusional and thinks they are dating. Also, she and the female lead meet for the first time some time after the male lead starts working there, they never went to the same university or even met at all before that. And there are a lot more things that are not correct but it could be a spoiler. This synopsis is the same as the one used in the page for the original version but this remake is a little different so it is not accurate.

Yeah, I think the title is the children’s perspective. Their mother is in a relationship with someone that is not their father so they might think of it as an affair, even if its not. I will find out once I start watching, which wont happen anytime soon because this will only finish airing in october so I would rather wait a few more months before I start watching it.

Thanks for explaining. I study Korean and the title even in Korean seems to hint at that, but maybe since its from the children’s perspective, they think she is having an affair because she is with another man that is not their father.

Yes, if you watch the special episode you can even see the wedding. And they do spend a lot of sweet moments together. Most of the drama is them spending time together.

Ok, thank you for telling me that. This is a long drama so there is still a lot that has not happened. Her husband is not even considered a supporting character when you look at the cast. I will wait a few more months to check back on the comments.

This is not a bad drama. In fact there were things I liked like the male lead’s personality and how he was never fooled by his mother or the other girl that was trying everything to marry him. But the romance, oh, it was soooo slow. And I have to spoil it for you as this is a deal breaker for some people, but the main leads do not kiss even once. And we are shown very little of them as a couple. So if you decide to watch it, do not expect a lot in the romance department.

I dont get it. If she is divorced how is she having an affair? Unless she marries the "rich man" mentioned in the synopsis and gets involved with another man while on this 2nd marriage. Please, someone let me know how the plot goes because I dont think I will watch it if the female lead is a woman of questionable character.

Yeah. I will probably try watching 1 or 2 episodes because I always like to give dramas a chance. After I do that I will come back here and let you know what I thought about what I watched.

Yeah, I wish that was handled differently. They had been so honest to each other so far, so why do that. The moment I saw his father in the same area as YC I already knew what she would do and how the male lead would react to the fake results. It was just too predictable and I wish the writers had surprised me and the break up did not happen.

Also, I did not like how YC got away with it. What she did was really serious. Even if the police was not involved she should have at least faced some kind of consequences related to her studies or career.

Definitely one of the better chinese school romances. I rarely watch chinese school dramas or any school dramas really because I started to find most of them boring as I grew older. But this one is really entertaining.

First, it avoids the typical cliché of the female lead being the one pursuing the male lead. In fact, he falls for her first and actively pursues her. The characters that could be cliché were not, like his mother. If there were any characters that were kind of cliché they would be Yi Chun and Cai Ya Si. The main leads have amazing chemistry and a really nice relationship. There were a few things that brought them problems, both caused by Yi Chun, one that was resolved fast and another that took a little longer, but this is only a short moment near the end of the drama. The synopsis makes it seem like they will be apart for a lot of episodes but it is not as bad as it seems. Most of the drama is happy and sweet.

Also, there is the special episode with their wedding (sorry if you consider that a spoiler but like...there are photos of it on this page so you already know its happening) and it was a nice way to wrap up the drama. I honestly think I would be ok with a few more episodes and probably wouldnt be bored.

I was not convinced by the first few episodes and even considered dropping it. But since I was not watching a lot of dramas at the time, I decided to give it another chance and keep watching. By the 3rd episode the story seemed to be getting better although predictable at the same time. And then the 4th episode was even better and then it just kept getting better from there.

Sure, this is not an amazing drama, but it did manage to keep me invested in it. I really like dramas where the main leads are a source of comfort to each other. And this was definitely one of those dramas. The osts are also pretty good. I particularly liked the song Here We Are and have it on my phone so I can keep listening to it. Overall, this was a good watch.

Hahah In my view single just means you are not in a romantic relationship at that moment. It does not matter if you have been in one or if you will be in one in the future, if you are not in a relationship in the present, then youre single. About the not married option, I have come across it in a few places, but it pretty much means the same. Even if you were married in the past, if you are not at the moment, the not married option could also apply. If it was "never married" then yeah, that would sound so rude.

Btw, I have never been married and dont really intend to do it. The women in my family seem to have bad taste for men so I would rather not get myself into the same kind of mess. A woman doesnt need a man to be happy. I have my close family and my cats to keep me company and I am fine that way. XD

Yeah, he did not act as entitled during college but the fact that he hided it was him the entire time when he knew she was looking for that person and even got into a relationship with someone thinking it was him, that was just irresponsible and selfish. Same for her. He could have just come clean with her and say, hey, it was me, but I would rather keep our relationship the way it is, I dont want to ruin our friendship. Instead he made her walk around in circles hurting a 3rd person in the process.

I did not hate this drama. I quite enjoyed it. But as I got close to the end I just started feeling more and more disappointed with the main leads. They were not very likable. And yeah, the whole I am experienced in theory thing was a joke. If she said she was experienced in cooking without having ever broken an egg, everyone would laugh at her. But somehow with kissing, which is a practical thing, they made it seem like she could be experienced without having ever done it.
