Yeah. He did really well. Even the child actor did a pretty good job portraying all the emotions of the character.

You can still give it a try if you think you will like it. It might be your cup of tea. But if you are looking for a good scrip that keeps you excited about each episode, this is not it. Even the killer is revealed really early on so there is nothing really to look forward to while watching it.

The lack of common sense or logic in the characters decisions really makes me mad. On one side you have the villain who is told he will "commit suicide when surrounded by the police" and he hates this idea so much that he wants to prove this will never happen and what does he decide to do? Yup, become a killer. Cause aint no better way to avoid being surrounded by the police than becoming a criminal.

On the other side you have the male lead who knows a lot of these tragedies, including the possible disappearance and death of the female lead, are indirectly caused by him and what does he decide to do? Stay out of it? Investigate discreetly? No, he does everything he can to get on the killer’s nerves. He plays with him like he is playing with fire. Also, he has seen his death so many times, has he never questioned where the scars came from? And then proceeds to try and get rid of him using a method that has high chances of causing that same type of scars? I dont even know what was the point of having that ability in the first place.

And the female lead, of course has to be the most clueless of the bunch even when she knows what is going to happen. She walked into the cage where the "lion" was waiting for her and locked the cage herself.

And the cherry on top is of course the amazing police work and ethics of 2 particular characters. (sarcasm)

This drama was honestly disappointing on every level. I did not enjoy the crime/thriller part of it, the romance was meh and most of the characters were either lacking brain cells or just a useless waste of space.

I miss the good old crime dramas. Sigh

Yeah. Because to keep the episodes long they add a lot of filler moments that are not important to the plot, like a bunch of women screaming because the male lead is not giving them a minute of his day. XD

Her acting here is not that great tho. But I would not really blame the actress, it is the character she is playing. I watched it on dramanice.

I so agree. Chinese dramas and Korean dramas are more balanced in terms of episode length with 45 mins - 60 mins average per episode. Most Thai dramas have extremely long episodes and Japanese dramas on the other end can have a lot of dramas with episodes that are only like 20 minutes long.

Does anyone have the link for this on the desktop version of iqiyi? There is no search bar so it makes it hard to find. Most recent episodes on other sites have bad video quality. The video is black and white with a lot of watermarks on top of it. :(

Yeah. I feel the same way. That is why I try to do the same for other people so we can all save time on dramas that we know we would not enjoy even before starting it.

No problem. I dont always leave comments but I usually do either when I really liked a drama or I had something that really bothered me about it and wanted to rant. This time it was the second.

I know, right? Like, she is now a living person again, her "husband" got her a hotel room, so how about taking a shower and changing your clothes? She legit wore the same clothes for like 5 eps that showed the period of several days in the plot. Idk how they missed that. Wearing the same clothes only made sense while she was a ghost.

Yeah. This was actually the first drama I watched with this actor. Since then I have seen him in a lot of other dramas. Most recently I watched him in Maturot Lohgan and I quite like him...hmmm, I am talking about his acting of course. Lol

Yeah, it is not only with lakorns, with any dramas that are full of clichés or that are very slow paced, I end up fast forwarding a lot since I already have an idea on what is going to happen next. This behavior is hard to avoid when you have been watching dramas for many years.

Yeah, I noticed. I guess the info here is wrong. Usually Taiwanese dramas only air 1 ep a week, like Japanese dramas. But maybe since this came out on iqiyi they aired it faster. No idea.

Hahah I have seen quite a few bad translations myself and some are so bad that they end up being funny.

The ratings are never to be trusted. There are people who rate a drama just after reading the summary, which is why some dramas have a 10 stars rating before they even air. Lol
Some of my favorite dramas were rated under 8, maybe even under 7 and some dramas I have watched that have 8 and 9 ratings were a joke to say the least. This is the reason terms like underrated and overrated exist.

If you think you know who her childhood sweetheart is, then think again. I saw some comments saying it’s the main lead, some saying it’s He Zhen, aka Young Lord. Let me tell you that it is neither of them, it is both of them and it is only one of them. Confused? You will understand after you watch the whole thing. XD

This was an enjoyable watch. Not a great drama or anything. It is a light watch with a bit of sad moments here and there. But it is mostly a romantic comedy.

Yeah. That might be his biological father or someone who played a father figure to him while he grew up. And he may be the owner of that house in the mountains. The loss of this person could have caused him to become the person he is today.

Yeah, she seems a little inexperienced, which is normal, but she definitely cares about Seo Woo. More than words, she has been showing it through her actions.
