2 kisses and one insinuated sex scene, no other ski ship or teases lol
The ones I can remember right now are: The Eternal Love (S1 and S2 with a 3rd season on its way) Princess Silver Good Bye, My Princess (ends in tragedy) Love by Hipnotic The Romance of Hua Rong Love Better Than Immortality
I have watched a lot more but I am about to go to sleep so my head is not that clear. LOL I will come back later to add a few more to the list.
Don't forget she planned to do the same to him too, except her plan failed. Also she's never guilty about it too,…
Thank you for explaining. As I thought, the characters are too one-dimensional. That one of them had such a rotten thought was bad enough, but it seems both of them had the same stupid idea.
nah the female lead has a panic disorder while being a surgeon. She’s clearly not up for the job.
Yeah, she definitely has that issue that needs to be fixed. But personality wise she has managed to not trigger me. She cut her cheating boyfriend off cleanly, she let go of her pride and went back to Miryeong hospital instead of going back to Seoul and fully embraced her job, she is working hard to be helpful to the villagers even if they do not give a damn about her.
As a surgeon she can be a danger, at least until she does not get rid of her PTSD. But as a doctor she has the right motivations and experience. So I cannot dislike her character, at least not yet.

Yeah, historical kdramas usually stay away from the steaming part. But there are quite a lot of chinese historical dramas recently that have been strong on skinship, so if you are into that, I can recommend a few. LOL
How do I describe this drama? Underwhelming? That is how it felt to watch it. I have watched a bunch of korean historical dramas (aka sageuks) in the past decade. This one did not have even 1 element that stood out from its predecessors. The romance was ok, but nothing special, the palace schemes and beating the bad guys was not exciting or smartly done, even the king’s dreams subplot was never used to its full potential. The ending was just like the rest of the drama, average.
Don’t get me wrong, I am not saying this is a bad drama. But it is far from being on the same level of most sageuks I have watched in the past.
After watching the latest episodes, I still feel confused about how I feel about this one. There are some good ideas and I can see the potential for this plot, yet it is being delivered in a way that makes me feel bored/angry most of the time.
I cannot stand the Doctor’s attitude. He doesn't want to do his job, ok. But don’t try to stop others from doing theirs.
The female cop is also annoying. Acts like a 5 year old playing police and wanting to be better than everyone else but having no clue what she is doing.
The male lead is ok, as long as he does not take the entire drama to realize what he is doing wrong and what he needs to do to correct it.
I have yet to start. How is the romance? The trailer made it seem like it is very sad. Do they end up together?…
Probably not, at least not anytime soon. I am currently on a more light watch spree. Like romantic comedies and stuff. Maybe in the future and by then I wont remember the spoilers you gave me. Thank you. :)
I have not watched either of the seasons and I never will. I can tell where this is going, have seen this train wreck before.
Basically the first season is the building of their relationship and then this season another girl comes into the picture and the male lead is probably going to be shaken by this girl that does not have a clue and goes after someone who is already in a relationship and supposedly about to get married. Correct me if I am wrong, but this is the vibe I am getting after watching the trailer. There were more scenes of him with this girl than with his girlfriend. I AM OUT!
At first I was not really into the story. After a few episodes I started to warm up to it. But this was still your average lakorn.
It was very predictable, from the start. The affair, who the biological parents of the male lead were, everything. There wasn’t one single surprise. There were no kisses either, just so you know. They tried to make us believe there was one occasion when it happened, but it was so obvious their lips never even touched. A lot of camera work, male leads thumb in front, camera zooming in but showing only the eyes and nose while they are kissing. No idea if any of the actors have a no-kiss agreement or something but I think it was the first time I saw a fake kiss from this channel. I would not be surprised if it was a lakorn from CH3, but it was not the case.
Anyway, if you can deal with the predictable plot and romance with almost no skinship and no real kisses, then this might be your cup of tea.
It was not slow per say, but there was something about it that at some point felt very average. I also pretty much binge-watched it. I watched the first 2 eps the day it came out and then the next day I watched the other 10. But I still feel that there was something missing or that they should have changed the focus to something else at times. I am not sure what it was tho. I have also watched every drama out there that is about AI and face blindness so the story was nothing new to me and that might have made it a little less interesting to me.
But it is not a bad drama. I have just watched way too many dramas to be able to feel amazed by a drama with this plot.
About the blackout thing, it is not as hard as it seems. They just need footage of the city at night with all the lights on and then they use an editing software to "turn the lights off" one by one and add the sound effects so it actually looks like a real blackout. These days you can do A LOT with video editing. Last year I knew nothing about it and just recently I designed and animated a character that looks like me.
Actually these things have been around for a long time but were only used by the entertainment industry and professionals. But nowadays anyone can learn these things. Is it easy? Not really. Not that it is hard either, it is just very time consuming. A simple animation of a few seconds can take hours of work to accomplish. That is why some more complex animation movies out there took years to be made.
I kinda liked it but I felt even 12 episodes was too long for the plot they had. Idk, something was missing. The plot felt slow paced and the story did not seem to have enough elements or supporting characters. I am not sure what it was, but it was lacking something.
It is not a bad drama, but I have see a lot better.
Just FYI, I just checked and all 36 episodes are now subbed in Englishhttps://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLMX26aiIvX5p8ZuNdJYeKDmNNl88MZ4yISorry…
Thank you for letting me know. I did not completely dislike the drama, it just did not meet my expectations. I liked the way it started but somewhere along the way the pace felt unnatural and so did the characters feelings. And I did not like the ending.
The Eternal Love (S1 and S2 with a 3rd season on its way)
Princess Silver
Good Bye, My Princess (ends in tragedy)
Love by Hipnotic
The Romance of Hua Rong
Love Better Than Immortality

The female lead so far is acceptable. Lol
