To be honest, it is not worth watching in any condition. XD

The whole Shi sisters and Mu Qian Chu thing was too frustrating and overwhelming and took so long to solve that I was unable to focus on the rest of the plot or even on the main leads.

It felt like trying to have dessert while having a fish bone stuck in my throat. I was not able to enjoy dessert because the fish bone was just bothering me so much.

Shi Di was shameless and Shi Xiao Nian spineless. Both were unbearable to watch. And they were only 2 of the many characters that I disliked.

I definitely don’t recommend this one. There is nothing memorable about it. I would even dare say this is a BELOW average c-drama.

It has been a year and sadly I will have to remove it from my on-hold list since there has been no improvement to the subs.

Timing the subs is the most time-consuming part. Is it that hard to find a human being to do the translation? Sigh

Good to know. Seems like most people, at least so far, have a positive opinion about the drama. I will definitely give it a try soon.

When I like a drama I tend to watch it every week but if I dont think its my cup of tea then I wait for it to finish airing and binge-watch it so I can skip all scenes that I find boring.

I will probably start this one on Monday.

Yeah. You think they are fooling you and wait for the plot twist to come at any time. And when it does not happen you start questioning if what you were watching was even a jdrama. ^^'

Like you said, the woman. The biggest cheater here is a man so all is well and no one will be punished. If you haven't watched yet, you might want to reconsider watching and just find something else to watch. This is probably not worth your time.

Nah. I was creeped out most of the drama, by most of what was happening. lol

Moral of the story, if I can even use the word "moral" when referring to this, is that 9.5 out of 10 Japanese couples have at least 1 partner that is cheating and bad guys are just pitiful creatures that need understanding and forgiveness. Sigh

P.S. - Don't watch this with anyone else since it is full of adult scenes. The first episode literally starts with one.
Imagine how awkward it would be to watch this with a family member or a friend. If it’s your partner, go ahead. It is just a bunch of trashy people in trashy relationships acting trashy. If you are in a toxic relationship, have trust issues or one of you has previously cheated or suspected of it happening, you might want to reconsider and just watch by yourself. Or even better, just don't watch it. You wont be losing anything.

I have not read the novel like many other people have but I still felt it lacked character depth and more emotion during some scenes. The editing and the overall execution of the plot was also not the best.

A drama that at first felt interesting, in the span of only a few episodes, became a task I had to finish rather than something I was enjoying.

Ok, thank you. I found it when I searched but since it is not an official channel I thought maybe it was not the right channel. I will check it out later to see if the subs are good.

I enjoyed it but was expecting more, particularly from the ending. Felt like the concept was good but the execution and conclusion were lacking. I would have rewritten the last 20 minutes or so, maybe make it 2 hours long to flesh out their relationship.

And another one. Can’t they make a drama where none of the main leads is already in a relationship?

And the extramarital affair tag scares me because it might mean he actually gets married to his girlfriend while having an affair with the FL...unless that tag is because of some other characters.

I decided to re-watch this and watching the last episode felt different this time since it is now February 2022 in the real world too. ^^'

When I first watched it in 2017, 2022 seemed so far away and now here we are, with all the weird things that have been going on in the last 2 years.
