She does. The "male lead" rarely appears near the end. I think it was because the actor playing the ML actually gave up on this drama. I remember reading something about it.
I am not complaining, I wanted her to end with Jung Min. I just dont see the point of making him the second male lead when he is actually the true male lead.

Not only does this have a cliché superficial plot with a jerk as the male lead, but also the editing feels so chopped and one scene does not flow naturally to the next. It does not help that every episode is less than 2 minutes long.

Definitely watch only if you have NOTHING, like seriously NOTHING else to watch.

Yeah, it was like the writers did not know the direction of the story anymore but still needed to make 8 more episodes AND give the viewers a happy ending, and then it became a mess.

As much as I liked the cast, the acting and the music, as much as it made me tear up, I cannot pretend this didnt have some consistency/logic problems. And after a good start it went downhill. Somewhere around the middle I started skipping a lot of scenes and was not excited for new episodes anymore.

It was quite disappointing since when I started watching I felt this could be one of the best supernatural/fantasy kdramas I have watched in a while. Unfortunately, just like many other kdramas in this genre, it slowly became boring and cliché and the ending felt just like a wrap up without much essence.

There were some things I liked of course but the drama as a whole did not meet my expectations.

35 episodes and so many main characters...I can see myself skipping a lot. I guess I am out.

Yeah. I usually either go with my gut or just be like meh, dont have anything else to watch anyway. XD

It took me a while to decipher TROTAR and be like ohhh, The Romance of Tiger and Rose, right? lol
And yes, it is one perfect example of this censorship. XD

I was not talking about any specific drama. I just said that in the past there were dramas I was not interested in and after giving them a try they were surprisingly good.

Interesting idea but the amnesia plotline was overused and at times it felt like there was not much of a plot so I felt bored and kept skipping scenes.

Watch it for the relationships between the characters. That was the best part of the drama, not the story.

Yeah, they do that a lot with time-travel dramas too. At the end it is revealed it was all just a dream or the script of a novel or even that the main character was in a coma the entire time.

Although the plot is not all that original, the acting and the music/sound effects really made this one stand out among the body swapping themed dramas.
There is also a lot to like about the plot. It was mostly funny and sweet without frustrating sub-plots. Sure there were some boring parts that I skipped, but overall it was a pretty good watch.

Just give it a chance and find out if it’s your cup of tea.

The literal translation of the title is the last one on the part that says "Also known as". And it is "Closer to Uijeongbu than a Shrine". Uijeongbu is a Korean city. My guess is there are a lot of shrines around it but the love in this drama is even closer than a shrine would be to this city.

That is how I personally interpreted the title.

When I think I have watched everything...I find this one. LOL

2 flawed characters’ journey to healing, a cute dog, funny moments, interesting supporting characters and villains that make your blood boil, cant go wrong with this combination.

Short but pretty good. I actually had low expectations. Thought it would be another one of those dramas with cheap comedy but this was so much more. Give it a chance.

My experience tells me they probably wont sub the rest of the episodes. They subbed while it was airing to keep the interest in the drama so once it finished airing they just moved on to the next drama. Considering they make money from YouTube ads and there are a lot of international viewers they could easily be paying someone to sub the rest of the episodes and still make a profit but oh well.

Our only hope is probably some fansuber picking up from where they left and subbing the rest of the episodes. I am glad I waited, because I would be so frustrated right now if I was watching and suddenly there were no more subs. I have learned not to start watching dramas subbed by these channels or inconsistent fansubers until they are actually fully subbed. It has saved me from a lot of frustrations. I have several thai dramas that have been on my on-hold list for years because they are still not fully subbed. :(

There is something about the way the story and characters were written that did not really meet my expectations. I felt bored very often and by the end of the drama I felt like I just finished an average drama.

I am not saying the drama is bad, it just isnt great.

The older twin is the kind of person that no one wants to be around in real life. And she has only herself to blame for that. Yikes

With that said, the first half was pretty good, the second half not so much.

Throughout the drama the FL dates several men, moving in with at least 2 of them and almost marrying 1. I skipped a lot but she had 2/3 relationships other than the one with the ML.

Also, the scene that is shown of them in ep 1 happens in the middle of ep 41, so yeah, you will get about 40 episodes of the FL dating other men but only 1 and a half of her dating the ML, which was actually not even that much since there is some separation happening in the last episode.

So in terms of romance, it probably isnt worth your time. I know it wasnt worth mine even with all the skipping I did.

I guess the drama was more about a rural town girl coming to the city and becoming an independent woman. Maybe it will be your kind of drama. But I hate complex romantic relationships and seeing the main leads date a bunch of other people until they finally admit they like each other, so I was not a fan of this one.

Maybe watch it for character growth or something along those lines. Definitely would not recommend this one for the romance. Read the spoiler below if you dont like wasting your time.
