Just finished episode 4. The fighting sequence and choreography is extremely satisfying so far. I can tell how much work they put in.

Just some minor issues I have, some things was rather just too coincidental or not making sense to me.

1. FL tried to assassinate the Prince, got chased and hid out. Coincidentally, there's a mother who's husband is an important military general, suddenly appeared and claim she's the mother, thus saving the FL lead.
2. FL lead happens to swoosh in a boat in the middle of the night as a high level martial artist, and not realizing there's already someone inside, who is clearly IN FRONT of her. Got spooked out, and drawn her sword. Additionally, that person is the Prince. The Prince also has a high level martial artist bodyguard that shadowed him, how can that guard let her just waltz in to begin with.
3. She carries the bracelet token outside when she's on her assassinating job. Now that's just asking people to recognize who you are. She's killing a high ranking officer, how can that mistake be made. D:

I do really want to believe that the writer intent for those things to happen are 1) to show how hot tempered and unrestrained the FL lead is. 2) She did it on purpose (most likely not) or 3) trying to have scenes of the Prince and her meeting early on, no matter how 'coincidence' it is, just so we'll have a love line.

I have always enjoyed Li Qin's work. I'll keep watching and see how all these will unfolds.

Respect for having references of previous dramas.

People have selective hearing depending on who starred in the drama or how popular it is.

There was a war on The King; Eternal Monarch's page, and since that drama ended and Backstreet Rookie took its place, people started to migrated over? :D.

The drama seems to aim for the comical/lighthearted route as exaggerated sounds effects of punching, and flying happening throughout the drama. I quite enjoyed it, seems very silly.

I enjoyed Ji Chang Wook's past drama and think he is a good actor. I appreciate Kim Yoo Jung's acting ability as a child star, she has great talent. I hadn't watch any of her latest drama besides this one. She has grown to be a beautiful, matured woman. I'll stick around for a bit and see how the next few episodes are being developed.

Also, comment sections a sht show, hypocrites everywhere.

This drama reminds me of Let's Eat series, but with more romance. It has alot of cameos (CLOY, 2NE1's Dara, Player's(2018)). Na Eun is in here so hopefully they can cameo Apink members as well :D.

I think its a nice drama to watch weekly. Nice OSTs. Glad Seo Ji Hye finally having a lead role. She's super charismatic in CLOY but she's adorable in here. It is a nice change. She's also oh very attractive *chef kiss*.

Just finished Season 1. Loved it. Absolutely loved it. If you hadn't had the chance to watch it or thinking about it, please watch it! You won't be disappointed!

Great casting, great chemistry! This isn't your usual kdrama where you got a villain, an antagonist with a vengeance or something to do with 'justice'. This is merely 5 friends who happens to had the same idea and profession, growing up together and developed into a beautiful relationship. I would say this is more in-line of a western sitcom than a typical Korean drama. Really reminded me of Gentleman Dignity.

Supporting casts are all so likable too!

Season 2 is far away, but with how good Season 1 was, Im anticipating it.

Kim Go Eun as a detective in this drama seems like the happy-go-lucky type, I do agree that I am not sold on her being a detective. Lee Min Ho isn't a bad actor, nor is he that great as fans have said. But I do liked his acting in Gangnam Blue, I thought it was great. Maybe he plays one too many roles as a rich, smart, chaebol lead, that it is now watered down to many of his casting. I'd like to see him deviate from that trope into something more, challenge himself, would be refreshing.

I was anticipating this drama, since it is Kim Go Eun. I like her as an actress, I believe she can deliver and portray her character very well. After watching episode 1 and 2, I had a favorable impression; interesting plot line, unique ideas, this drama could be really great like the writer's other dramas. I tried to keep up (watched episode 6) and could not figure out how this is the same writer as Goblin/Mr. Sunshine. It is simply a messy.

The leads had little to zero chemistry. When they're together, we're supposed to feel a connection or romance, but I don't feel anything. Most of the time, it felt forced. It is so bad that I had to go back and watch Goblin, to feel the chemistry, the reasoning, a decent story.

Do Hwan had great acting skills in My Country: The New Age, he is undervalued. He should of been the King here. Hopefully the drama gets better, and that I am wrong. But I had hoped for the past 4 episodes already...):

The ending was kind of anti-climatic for me. The big reveal of Eraser doesn't give me an "Ohsht" moment, but more of "oh". I was open to everyone and anyone being the Eraser, since they made it super vague in the drama, but didn't think it was Bang Jung Suk's secretary.

So the NIS knew abut Dong Baek and his Sister from way back then. While the Eraser is rampaging killing people, NIS stays silent. I'm guessing because the Eraser is not making things 'complicated' or 'national level' enough for NIS to intervene, so they ignored it, even if more people die. HMmmmm.

The beginning was good, keep you focus, then it kinds of fall off midway. Maybe the Eraser can erase my memory off of this drama.

Finished episode 14. Still not convinced Head Fire Chief is the Eraser. Earlier episodes showing the Eraser jumped off of a 2 story building, did a barrel roll and seemed athletic, male. The Fire Chief is old.

Trying to recap all related events and to better understand the story.

Event 20 years ago:
-Chairwoman Hwang Pil Seon is Jae Gyu's half sister
-She killed his Mom, and her son (Bang Joon Suk) killed Moon Yong Kang's (he's not listed in the cast) brother and raped Fire Chief's daughter.
-Eraser killed 7 people 20 years ago (those 7 people related to Moon Yong Kang’s brother's death); Jae Gyu, Young Dong Baek and Deputy Chief were present and supposedly another person, 170cm+ tall.
-Deputy Chief and Chun Gi Soo (police officer) buried the case.
-Dong Baek's Mom is murdered. Why was Dong Baek present, why is he not dead. He only retained that memory and nothing else.
-Sun Mi's Dad is murdered, supposedly by a person wearing a mask (Eraser? Maybe someone else, was it Jae Gyu? I completely forgot...). Her Dad causes other people suffering and suicide. Drama hinted that the Eraser is killing people who has sinned and deserves to die, or kill/torture innocent family members of related sinned person for more dramatic and cruel effect.
-Reporter Jo Sung Dong was first at the scene of Sun Mi’s father murdered and his partner, the camera guy.

Currently:
-Dong Baek lost his childhood memory and joined the police force when he grew older.
-Sun Mi also became an officer.
-People that Dong Baek suspected died one after another due to their sin. Eraser mentioned that whoever Dong Baek touches will die next, and I am assuming only if the person has sinned, because Sun Mi was fine, and so was Dong Baek’s partner and team chief.
-Park Gil Dan (pastor) died. Dong Baek was at the scene the night prior.
-Eraser threatened Jae Gyu to become a red herring so he (Eraser) can kill more.
-Reporter Jo Sung Dong died. Eraser jumped a 2 story building, did a barrel roll, seems athletic, male.
-Noh Kwan Gyu [Shimbae firefighter] was plotted to be murder against when he went into that fire building (ep 11), because he witnessed the scene 20 years ago.
-Jae Gyu dies and mentions Eraser relating to Dong Baek, and also Cho Won.
-The Eraser is working with Moon Yong Kang.
-Chun Gi Soo’s son died due to him covering up the event 20 years ago.
-The Deputy Chief’s son almost died due to him covering up the event 20 years ago.
-Bang Joon Suk’s wife and unborn child nicknamed Cho Won is held captive by the Eraser, and he wants Dong Baek to die.
-Chairwoman Hwang Pil Seon is said to be the main cause for all of this.
-Current suspect is the Fire Chief as the Eraser.

Question:
Why did the Eraser wait 20 years to take action?

Actually, it might be himself who saved himself, going back in time. The shoe.

I am liking the episodes so far. Great filmography, acting, and OST. Since it's only the first 2 episodes, I'll give it a bit more time to ramp up to the main plot, otherwise, I enjoyed it.

1. Emperor Yi Gon doesn't seem like an actual good leader or ruler...lol, going places by himself without bodyguards, he must know that he isn't just anyone, he is the King of a country. I guess that's why this is a fantasy drama.
2. Km Go Eun is really really attractive, always loved her acting.
3. Since this writer is known for fantasy element, I am going to take a wild guess and say that the person who saved young Yi Gon is his bodyguard Jo Young or Jo Eun Sup, while using Jung Tae's name tag, traveling back in time.

Way too early to tell, but hey, it's fun to guess :D.

Hmm. Just finished episodes 3 and 4, maybe this is the writer first drama and that's why the script felt choppy or maybe the webtoon is like this. Can anyone remind me that besides the eyes enhancement Gi Bum got, did he get enhanced in anything else? How can he move so fast or punch so hard if all he got was eyes enhancement? I understands Tae Woong's strength came from his bionic arms, but it seems like Gi Bum got a full body enhancement instead of just his eyes..??

The transitioning of one scene to another is also a matter of concern, did the drama cut off some scenes from the webtoon or something? I know sometimes they do that, but is it the same in this case? Because that can only explain why it felt..odd.

All this time, I thought they had to go to a location...>.> i.e maybe a location of his Dong Baek first home or his Mother's murdered. Cho Won ah Cho Won, where are you..

Currently watching Memorist. Was good start, now kinda confusing. Maybe after the drama ends, the Eraser can erase my memory from the drama too...Lol.

I saw Rurounin Kenshin live action a while back, they were all amazing. Best sword fight scenes I have ever seen, in any movies or drama. Episode 4 and 5 is supposedly coming out this Summer or this year. Super excited for that!

Recently finished Crashed Landing, it's a nice drama to binge, great acting overall. Also the popular Itaewon Class. Great acting by the leads. Making me looking forward to Kim Dami's new future project.

You should definitely give The Longest Day In Chang'an a try again if you have time. I thought that the drama premise was super interesting. That whole 48 episodes drama supposedly be set in 'one' day event time. So all the bruises and scars that the characters got, still show even to episode 48, which I think its amazing to keep that level of details throughout 48 long episodes. The production value is crazy! Fight sequences are extremely well choreographed, too.

I might go back and watch Goblin again...just because of Kim Go Eun and Goog Yoo..also OST and bromace.

So confused now, after watching the latest episode. Essentially Sunmi and Dong Baek been going around in circles and danced to the 'Eraser's' rhythm. The writers got two really competent people to look really incompetent, being lead by the string of the Eraser...

1. If Dong Baek is the Eraser, he must have multiple personality disorder.
2. Who killed his Mom? Why did they spared him? Why did they made him witness his mother's murdered? Or was it a fabricated memory (if himself is the Eraser)
3. Who was the person that Dong Baek's chased on the hospital roof top?
4. If the drama deviate from the webtoon, anyone could be the Eraser...which makes it super confusing.

Just finished the drama. I liked it. Although it was definitely felt weird during the last few episodes. Felt like they were trying to make it more thrilling or fit the narrative of 'kneel before me'- to make it more dramatic. When Saeroyi was first convicted and met with the gangster hyung-nim, I thought he will become the underworld boss and take revenge for his Dad..lol. This drama showcase more of a human-relation and business aspects, which is also not bad. I am not a fan of continuous time-skip. It became 'fill in the blank' and let us use our imagination for events that might, could, should, or never happened during the time-skip. In movies, I guess they had no choice since time is limited, but drama should avoid it if necessary. Maybe that's why some viewers were not fond of Saeyori and Yiseo relationship. With the time-skip, we really have no idea what daily routine their relationship had blossomed into, same with Soo-Ah.

All great actors always acted as the villain. Yoo Jae Myung, wow! I felt a sense of pity for his character towards the end. Saeyori was a heart-demon for him through many years. His son took Saeyori's Dad's life, while Saeyori took Geun Won's love, Geun Soo's love, Dae Hee's company near the end and totally destroyed his conviction. I guess you called it karma. Both Soo-Ah and Yiseo are strong independent woman. They firmly stick to their beliefs; Soo-Ah to be independent and freedom, Yiseo solely believes in Saeyori and willing to do anything for him.

Kim Dami reminds me of Kim Go Eun, both are excellent actresses that transitioned from movie to drama. Had to go and watch The Witch: Subversion. I liked it. Can't wait for part 2.

It was an enjoyable drama, even with all the weird shenanigans. You should definitely watch it if you can. I don't think it's a waste of time. (:

If that's the case, it's like the movie Split. Multiple personality disordered. But then...who killed his Mom if that was the case? I'd like to see Yoo Seung Ho act evil for a change. Hahaha.

1) That's the point I don't really get. He was confronting Dong Baek and said "A boy will die because of you, since you touched him. Can you prevent that?" And Jae Gyu took the little boy. Now, if he was innocent like it was revealed at the end of episode 8, why did he go through all the trouble misleading the police and Dong Baek instead of just give the boy protection...? That story line did not make sense at all. I think the boy's mother's memory has been altered some how, I just don't know who did it.

2) I think she has memory of her father killing an animal, not the mother. The scene where it showed Jae Gyu tied up his wife and her lover, I believe that scene was a flashback-what if scenario instead of someone actually saw it as it is. Because the mother said that her Grandmother was so sure that Jae Gyu killed his wife, but no evidence. So I think the scene of him tying the wife and her lover up was a "what if-scenario", again, super confusing and misleading as to why the writer goes through all that trouble and at the end of episode 8 just to say "That's not our guy".

3) It will be funny if the killer was a woman all along. When Jae Gyu hinted to Sun Mi that the masked killer stabbed her father 17 times for the 17 deaths he wrongly caused due to his corruption, I was thinking maybe the serial killer was one of the many person that Sun Mi's father screwed over. Since Jae Gyu said Sun Mi's father's corruption destroyed many family lives. Someone from those family might become the murderer.

4) Then that means the real killer is manipulating Jae Gyu. If Jae Gyu wasn't the killer himself already. But then that brings me back to the beginning as to why writers made Jae Gyu extremely suspicious for 2 episodes just to say he isnt the bad guys....ahhhhh. What are the writers thinking, it is not making sense.

Finished 7-8. I think I just got disrespected by the writers...I got on a roller-coaster and when its about to drop, I realized instead of going down, the cart is running flat indefinitely.

Good: Really love Sun Mi's deduction skills so far, she's so competent. Jo Han Chul, a veteran actor acting as Min Jae Gyu, a crazy? psycho. Wow! I love it.

Maybe-Bad: Why did the writers made Jae Gyu the supposedly 'good guy' at the end of episode 8? All he had to do was tell the police that he's protecting the boy and his(the boy) family in the beginning and save us the wild goose chase. Instead of acting all crazy to strongly hint that himself is the killer? Because that scenario dragged on for 2 episodes, at the end of episode 8, we learned nothing. If Jae Gyu was innocent, why spent 2 episodes of build up pointing to him - just to say "This isn't our guy". If Jae Gyu wasn't innocent, who the hell is the masked guy, and we still learned nothing about the masked guy besides that he's a serial killer.

I really hope the writer give us some good explanation the next episodes, because if this masked guy is the main villain, I don't know how they can drag it on for 8 more episodes.

Also, please tell Dong Baek next time to not pull out a knife in your chest after being stabbed. You'll bleed out to death faster that way. Imagine a water bottle, you stab it with a rod, sure some water will leak out but the effort is slow. Now pull that rod out and voila--it became a fire hose. Don't be a fire hose.
