It has finally come to an end.

It all making sense now, as to why we see the love triangle, the second leads romance, the weird cut scene from one to another. It supposed to be a 60 episodes drama condensed into 28 ):

Do you know why it was cut short? There are other dramas out there with 40+ episodes, doesnt make sense to cut something from 60 to 28.

The drama series is 30-40% different than the novel. So I am not sure how the writer will portray the characters/plots in season 2.

But as for the novel itself:
1. Im assuming "You" as in Yan Bing Yun? He was betrothal to a princess of a nation I believe, also Shen Zhong's sister if Im not mistaken.
2. That part was not in the novel. Fan Xian willed was that he wanted a carefree life and to protect his loved ones. He won't become 'bad', but he will be more resolute in his actions, i.e kill those needed to be killed.
3. Grandmaster is the highest.
4. No, Lin Wan'er is Fan Xian's love life. She's very fond of him as he is to her.

Frida Li portrayed Si Li Li very well. I thought all actors/actresses portrayed their counterpart extremely well.

Do you think there's a possibility of second season? Cause it'll be super absurd to try and finish everything in the last 4 episodes...lol. And if there was a second season, they did a pretty bad job at this first season to get it hyped up.

So far up until episode 4:

ML and FL are entangled due to the death of both of their father's. They joined police forces together to solve cases. Bodies suddenly appeared out of nowhere and we get this hint that there's a 'train' appearing where the bodies lies. This 'train' is from another world, a parallel world.
1) In Earth1, Seo Kyung got shot and died when she is investigating the 'train'.
2) Earth1 Do Won came on the train to chase a suspect, where Do Won from Earth2 is also on the train.
3) Earth1 Do Won came off of the train to Earth2 and met Seo Kyung of Earth2.
4) Now Do Won from Earth1 is in Earth2. People who Do Won1 knew of from Earth1, are also in Earth2, with different fate i.e; some are dead, some are alive.

1) We don't know if Do Won2 is still on the train, in Earth1 or Earth2.
2) Who murdered all those people and brought them onto the train from Earth2 and dumped them to Earth1?
3) Who else knew about the parallel world besides Do Won1 and the murderer?
4) Why is there a train that able to travels within the parallel world? How come no one else on that train notices it?
5) Why is this only airing Saturday and Sunday??!

Lol. I do agree with most of what she said. However that doesn't mean I don't enjoy watching it.

When a show has 50 episodes, minor issues gets bottled up eventually. For such talented actors/actresses, I assumed they would provided them with a better script. It's kind of a waste, IMO.

If you like Knives Out, you might also enjoy this. Although there's no Daniel Craig, but there's Oh Na Ra. :D

Kim Hye Joon should star on more main roles. I like her.

The last episode was unfortunately super rushed as they tried to condense everything. Ming Xuan was killed by Mo Qing and Zhao Yao.

At the end, Mo Qing went to secluded cultivation to try and break free from his demonic sword, over the past 5 years Zhao Yao waited for him. He finally was able to suppressed his sword and came out of secluded cultivation. He and Zhao Yao spent their days touring the world, and birthed a daughter and a son.

Fun fact: In the drama 'Shark', she played a younger version of Son Ye Jin. (:

It started out as a joke, to poke fun. But looking at the replies I got so far, very passionate viewers. Whoops? :D

Hmm..it seems that Lu Yuan was able to bring his small personal army anywhere and everywhere at any time, and then the situation gets defused. I think so far he has done it about 4-5 times now. Is this going to be a thing from now on...? lol.

Agreed. ML should pair with the Prince instead. I think it'll make a better story line, given that he's a hybrid and she's full on human. He's aloof and happy-go-lucky, while she's serious and resolute.

Agreed. I was under the impression that ML is a remnant of the demon clan, got accepted in by accident, then wreck havoc within the academy all the while having love-line with the 'Prince' and FL. But it's already episode 18 and the love-line just begins for the 'Prince'. >.>

They should have more episodes than 28, if this is how they progress the story.

This is one of those drama where you put in the background and then do your thing lol. The synopsis and the way the drama progresses, doesn't seem to really match IMO. Does anyone know if this was adapted from a novel, maybe the synopsis was from the novel instead...haha.

Wow! When veteran actresses does their work, it's amazing to see! Had a great time watching this drama.

Good people getting hurt is why we have a palace drama. :D

Longest Day in Chang'an was *chefkiss*. Try Joy of Life also, if you hadn't already.

I quite enjoyed this drama. I was so sure that the drama ends at episode 36, as it seemed appropriate, then found out there were about 20+ more to go..lol.

Only later did I found out that the studio or whoever it is, made the writer expand the story line to 55 episodes. No wonder it was weird.

It's a happy ending btw. (:

OML how many times did they have to redo episode 6 due to laughing. Lmfao. I think the actors actually laughed and the director just included it in there cause there's no way you cannot not laugh.
