It's the plot of the story, so it's not spoiling anything. Unless people are watching without even knowing what…
The synopsis on this website.
You can write an article without spoiling the first episode in the title. Your logic can be applied to any episode: "you don't want spoilers? Don't open the website. Others can't become mute for you." You don't need to become mute. A little bit of consideration is enough.
I disagree. It's already a war here with two love interests ๐ plus, if she liked that much people, the story…
That's an interesting point. Although idk why XY keeps separating YSQ from TSJ or XL from FFB. Doesn't sound logical or healthy. It's not that FFB is more mischievous than XL, but that XL can be more free as FFB. It's not that TSJ couldn't do what YSQ could. It's not like YSQ is wiser than TSJ. If YSQ is faced with the same dilemmas as TSJ, he'll make the same choices as TSJ. Because instead of learning and growth, he just changed his name. And XY thinks of that as a kind of development in their relationship, which is worrisome imo.

He might not have become king. Can't say definitely. Hence why I said "you might be able to take him out". I agree that the flow of the story would be damaged, tho.
It'd be much better if they planned strong character development for the male lead whose gonna end up with the girl. Like realizing too much kindness towards cruel people is being cruel to their victims. Or going off the rails and trying a ruthless path and learning the damages of both attitudes. Idk, something. Instead, he wasn't even consistent in his biggest character trait: empathy. They made such an iconic 3rd lead. Should've worked even harder on the 2nd. Of course, the actors' performances also played a big part.
I know he's not "converted" officially (not sure what term they use) but he dresses and acts like one. So I thought it weird to imagine him with a lover.

Just because he's named 3rd lead, doesn't mean he's 3rd important. On the contrary. I think you might be able to take out the FL and TSJ without damaging the plot too much. But If you take out CX or XL, the second season practically won't exist. Not to mention some leads would be dead even before the season starts and CX might not have become king.
How to rate this? First season was easily 8.5 but this one is barely worth a 3. Too much moping around and very little character development. Even some performances were lacking for me (the ending parts of YZ's long crying scenes almost made me laugh, sounding like she was forcing herself to cry).
While things about her parents, the "dream" scene, A'nian's character development, CXY and CX's thought provoking choices and fate and XL's entire arc deserve a 10. Idk how to rate this lol
Ok now I'm starting to get bored. A few episodes in and the FL has practically become accessory, feels like she's just swaying with the wind, looking pretty. She was so unique and impactful before. And why is there zero character development (sometimes even regression) for TSJ? He's turning one dimensional.

"Me what?
You really are a scoundrel. If Xiaoyao cared about background, Ye Shiqi wouldn't exist."
(Funny how a short conversation completely changed my view on two characters)
