Ohhhhh, well the clarifications kind of make sense. I mean...but really how did they miss Rikimaru's super bright, sexy, cheeky smile?! haha. That face and energy was bursting off my screen! Same with Bo Yuan.

Do people know if this will be the case for future performances moving forward? If so, it's seems unfair to less well-known trainees who are looking for an opportunity. I also feel a lil bad for the trainees relationships with one another.

i agree with you. i'm a novel reader and had always low key pictured XW to be kinda cartoonish and removed from the human world lol. i think the actress playing XW, being naturally pretty and cute, actually has a great face to play the role. XW and TS look pretty cute standing next to each other. I can't even remember TS from the novel at all lol so Xiao Zhan is doing well for me too.

woah was looking for this comment about the music. i feel that sometimes the music ruins the mood? lowkey feel the characters are quite okay and well-casted. does kind of feel like a cheap ish production though. i finished the novel a long time ago and...sigh. i can't wait till tang san levels up in looks. lol. the show is entertaining enough esp for those that enjoy good ole teamwork and friendship stories.

Does anyone else like the interaction between Wu Chu Chu and Ah Fei? I don't think I noticed how atypical Ah Fei was from other young ladies, but when she was with Chu Chu is when I realized how...gender neutral Ah Fei seems lol. Like, Ah Fei is obviously a cute girl, but she's not girlish and not boyish either. I kind of like that about her actually.

Li Sheng needs to grow up. This type of annoying spoiled character is often the troublemaking female lead in other dramas. lol.

Just finished binge-watching this last night! A few days after Alice in Borderlands! There were so many great characters in this show. I'm loving tthis lineup! Wonder if there's more in store for us as this ridiculous year winds down? hah.
