i read he is from central academy of drama 2nd best acting school in entire asia.
Just checked -- he went to dance academy. And his career in the central academy is only started/on hold. And he is with a prominent SK group. Idol actor.
Ep14 Those who complain about chemistry should open their eyes. Despite her current state both JZ and YY have very high EQ -- whenever they talk together the room is at another level of mutual comprehension.
But most importantly the actors are perfectly portraying this fictional age gap. Those who complain seem to think the actor is actually much older. Not. The fiction is that she is in her late teens and he is well-started on his career? Classic romance thriller gap -- a decade.
So when the actor (in RL only 29) holds back like a respectful senior in the family but moves a tiny bit towards her, my my; he knows by now that he is one of her suitors, even if she isnt ready yet, and the audience certainly knows it.
The actress (26 in RL) is brilliantly portraying the mass of emotions which is a girl just come of age confronting the parents who abandoned her. Perfect, just perfect. This couple, whenever they meet,l ook each other straight in the eyes and open their hearts; the actors show us carefully where the individuals are emotionally in real time.
I am not sure yet how Ci Sha does it -- he doesnt hold his breath for a second (or maybe I should say the camera doesnt) when he realizes he is momentarily attracted to her. His gaze just opens up, I think he changes the angle of his head....
He is waiting for her to not be so 'full of anger' as he says. She trusts him and doesnt know why she needs to see him, but when he comes into the room she is the one to hold still, just for a millisecond.
Ep14 I continue to really feel for Ye Xian (HeirApparent). No one is on his side but he just keeps up with his sponsoring of inventions, it seems like a struggle to find a solution to his predicament.
YY called him 'a man in despair' to his face. I think YX was first attracted to JZ bec she was so bitterly unhappy and angry too. I hope he changes for the better, and I think WinWin is doing a decent job for an idol actor, just a few minor mishaps is par for the course.
only dong man would get stuck backwards in a truck in the snow while he gets 3 phone calls from eun ah, eun ah's…
Ep8 I was so proud that I realized he was hanging upside down in a flipped-over car quickly; it was the hair!, but i got increasingly freaked out that he just kept on hanging there as if he thought it would make a better story that way.
But maybe it was just another level of understanding the guy's chgaracter -- he gets terrified in crisis and is a bit silly and passive. Foreshadowing of craziness to come on set?
The director cant run away with the fake toilet seat?
ep8 I feel as if this drama is happening to real people in real time and a ripple went across the world when we all heard the following: when Hye-Jin announced that she was going to PUNISH Dong-Man by producing his script on a government grant!
I like the way that even the women who prove to be villainous are given their moment in the show to speak their piece, to demonstrate what may be stupidity or grudges and bad character on their part, but is still human.
They struggle desperately in the house hold of a toadying creep; his affection, shallow as it is and weak as he is, is the prize. The women have no recourse and no escape. He is their primary misfortune.
Concubine Song and her daughter Lan become complicit in attempted murderer along with their truly evil nanny. Perhaps if they had had better or stronger innate characters they could have lived peaceably with Madam Ji.
However the household itself was ruinous because of the character of the master. He closed his eyes to their treatment of Madam Ji, since he was indifferent to the wife he had only married for money.
I am doing a rewatch, and for a very short series on a very low budget it is still cute. The long conversations between the webtoon writer and the cat Bok Gil are really the highlights of the show and they are totally worth tolerating everything else as well!.
The FL is definitely the weak point -- the character is intrusive and clingy and the actress is weak on skills. But the cat and the mood and the story are just great! And there are two of my favorites as supporting characters (Lee El and Kim Min Seok) and one real idol (Solar of Mamamoo) plays a near-famous poet.
And Yoo Seung Ho is a really pretty boy, old-style.
me too. I think there might be a makeup change finally coming in SK. Esom usually looks like a shiny-faced gothic type. Here she had more translucent makeup, as did the rest of the cast; facial muscles show, eyes are less fantastic, people look healthier.
Yoo Yeon Seok's transformations while being possessed have been astonishingly funny and wonderful! Just finished the show after several stops and starts. Only now do I see how well it was structured. Really a pleasure to watch.
Yes, I thought that was great. However the Korean creative community is currently way ahead of the kdrama audience…
Distinguishing between film and drama communities. Sorry for the ambiguity. Not sure why this is, but in drama (except for BL obviously) the community seems less likely to take risks. But then again, here comes Soulmates. I am so on Mr.Chu's side in the choices he is making.

8 on mdl is a 9 anywhere else! She says loyally.
that so did not go the way I expected!
I agree with everyone, it is astonishing how this writer continues to surprise us!
