I thought it was already stipulated that the gap between seasons had to be 6 months, then I saw part 2 would air in November, only 3 months later and that was confusing. January would make it 6 month which makes more sense but the new regulations that impose a mandatory 1 year gap may now applyto this.
Finished ep 10...watchable but something's missing ngl. The chemistry isn't the best, maybe because they jumped to the mortal trials so quick before truly developing the characters. It started out with quite a bit of cuteness and humor, and it felt fresh but the last few eps have toned the comedy and quirkiness down a lot and it's starting to drag a bit for me. The emotional stakes don't feel very high, probably because the writing isn't strong enough to create a compelling romance. YCY is better here than in Chongzi but not sure this performance is going to change many people's perception of her. My eyes glaze over every time the second couple appears.

11k isn't that great a number considering how big XZ's fanbase is and the number of comments in other comment sections over the last 12 months. It doesn't even begin to touch The Starry Love, LBFAD or TTEOTM's numbers, for example. I'm not hating on the drama, but the low number of comments did surprise me. It's not bad, it's just a lot less than popular dramas tend to get.
