Honestly, it may just be that the rights are not available to be licensed to Netflix at the moment, or that they knew they'd rather sell TTEOTM's rights because it would be the bigger drama. It might also have something to do with the rights sold to networks in China and a potential conflict there. I still hope it eventually finds its way to Netflix so fingers crossed.

Ahh so glad to see the comment section still going, even if it's slow. The last couple of weeks have been absolutely hellish irl for me so I neglected checking this page but I'm legit so glad to FINALLY see 100+ reviews. We're also creeping ever closer to 100k ratings on Douban without dropping that 7.2 score.

I think I finally get why Youku made this a TV drama. With the two networks re-broadcasting the way they are, it's really giving it legs. *Jiayou xiao xing xing*. I've also been so stuck in CXX lalaland it's hard to come up for air. I'm in the Qian par pit (Qian Heng from My Boss/What Goes Around Comes Around/Ni Ye You Jintian) and it's all thanks to my obsession with the novel. Sorry TTEOTM...I just had more addictive things to become hooked on. Most of the diehard career fans of his have been floating on cloud 9 since before the booting ceremony xD. Yes, all for a drama that will probably see the light of day next year.

TSL still owns permanent real estate in my heart, though.

A lot of his fans (and fans in general) are a bit of a naughty h*rny bunch and the way he was twisting that towel garnered comments such as...that isn't really a towel, that's me, twist me, twist the bed sheets, twist (insert female body parts), are those hands wasted on just towel wringing or does he do something else with those (cue talk about the famous gray sweatpants video), and then certain shapes the towel acquired that suggested certain body parts. I hope that isn't too cryptic? lol I have pics, but mydramalist sucks so no visual aids.

I have a theory that the reason they're not shopping TSL to Netflix is because they plan on licensing TTEOTM instead, but who knows. Netflix pretty much guarantees a ton of extra eyes on the drama, so it's a pity. It could still make it to places like Prime.
