I’m so curious about what happened at Lishan Mountain. It seems like everyone’s dead and that Ye Li is still indenial or suffering from PTSD. But at the same time, they said the Empress Dowager is surrounding it and closing it. Seems like no one knows what happened while Ye Li is suffering from PTSD. I’m SO CURIOUS.

IMO, about the burn scheme, there’s no clue that leads it to Ye Li so far (up until episode 6). So, I guess it makes sense Mo Xiu Yao doesn’t know it yet. However, he definitely senses something from her like she’s not just some gentle lady.
The guard and also her personal maid have noticed that she’s hallucinating. I guess they did not want to question it. Makes sense though. It’s too early to break the truth to her.
The last time I felt this euphoria watching a cdrama and kept anticipating the next episode was PoJ (although the latter half sucked but still my guilty pleasure).
Dang, the war scene was well-shot. I love how the NPCs are all doing their job, or at least it looks like it. The visuals overall look EPIC although at times it can look fake/edited.
I’m sad for Chu Zhao though. Just after finding out her mother is alive, her mother died in front of her. Then her father. Not to mention, the poison handed over by Xie Yan Lai, even though it wasn’t his fault. So many things happening. Then again, with her parents out of the picture I guess that’s closure as well knowing that they’re both together now.
The scene of Zhao and her mom by her father’s bed bidding farewell was so sad. Also, I wish XYL explained to Zhao. Then again, she was angry and confused so makes sense that he kept quiet for now.
