Review Honour Spoiler
So basically nothing was achieved for that female lead.I was mostly paying attention to Lee Chung Ah’s storyline,…
I feel like she has plot armor. The drama tried to create a reason to mend their relationship but I feel so bad for Koo Seon Gyu, the husband. In the end, basically he was touched that she finally realized how important he is to her. Honestly, apart from her miscarriage, she got no real consequence.

Below is what happened:

Koo Seon Gyu found out Hwang Hyeon Jin cheated because her earring was found at her ex’s place, and the murder investigation eventually led to the revelation.

Koo Seon Gyu was disappointed about it but before they mend their relationship, they found out that she’s pregnant. Both of them thought it was Koo Seon Gyu’s baby. It was revealed that the baby was not Koo Seon Gyu’s when the doctor said it was impossible for the couple to conceive a child naturally because of Koo Seon Gyu’s sprm count, which obviously means that it’s the ex’s baby.

When Koo Seon Gyu knew about it, he was cold to her at first but eventually warmed up again. Hwang Hyeon Jin felt guilty but she has always wanted a baby so life just goes on I guess. Their relationship was like put to the side. They were both focused on the investigation. I guess they decided to just go with the flow lmao.

When Hwang Hyeon Jin got a miscarriage, she wanted a divorce because she feels that the marriage is already broken, but I feel like she just feels guilty. Koo Seon Gyu didn’t want the divorce but he was disappointed that Hwang Hyeon Jin didn’t even try to make him stay so he agreed. Koo Seon Gyu faced a life or death situation in the hospital and Hwang Hyeon Jin was devastated. The classic “I didn’t know how important you are before you’re gone.”

In the ending, Koo Seon Gyu gave his divorce papers to Hwang Hyeon Jin and she ripped it basically saying that she doesn’t care if he calls her shameless but when she saw him in the hospital, she was so scared blabla.. Koo Seon Gyu looked touched and well, they both kept their marriage.

Awesome cute family and village moments. However, I'm confused on the political aspect of it as in who is who…
I had to jot down the political parts so I can visualize it better lol

Honestly, yes. I can’t pinpoint exactly why though.

I'm kind of feeling mildly insulted if that's how the storywriters think we see ourselves. The relationships are…
I think because it’s a virtual relationship, the writer maybe lean towards reckless, trial and error approach.

This show feels more like a commercial than a drama. The set, everything feels quite superficial and.. “clean” (?) The premise is interesting though! A woman living an ordinary 9 to 5 life who prefers spending after office hours at home watching dramas instead of going out, then suddenly playing a role-play dating app. Seo Mi Rae is a character that I find relatable. For such a relatable and “humane” premise, I wish they execute it better. I also wish the scene cut to cut have better transitions. Just a thought!

I love everything about this drama so far. The story is well-written and so far no plot holes or logic gaps. The characters are also well-written. I like how both XZ and FCY are consistently written, feels realistic and grounded. I like how the mystery unravels slowly through hints, as well as their romance. It’s slowburn but full of tension. I like how both the story and the characters have depth in them. The script and screenplay are also well-written with a couple of memorable dialogs and iconic scenes. Also, I roll with the humor as well! Most of all, I love the visuals. The cinematography, color grading, camera angles, blocking, positioning, visual effects, sound effects, color palette, even costumes, hair and makeup are all so detailed and visually pleasing. Of course, the CGI during the first episodes when the bird was flying could be made smoother, and the overly warm color grading of the palace court could be toned down, but not a big deal overall. I keep fangirling watching this drama and I can’t wait tk watch the next episodes. Every episode went by so quickly. Release all episodes please, I’ll pay!
