He has male lead all over his acting and looks. I can't wait for his future projects w/ him as male lead! I've also enjoyed him a lot in Miss the Dragon and currently also in Sassy Beauty.
I feel like the low rating is only because yalls didn't like the female lead being a former bully. I didn't like it either and her original personality was hard to swallow but she grows in the game and as a person. Also, you learn to see why she turned out the way she did. I just finished episode 10 and I really like her now. Overall, I'm enjoying the show immensely and even got me to shed a few tears here and there. I hope this show ends well!
It's been so long since I've watched Yan Zidong in a drama! The last long drama I watched him in was Til Death Tear Us Apart and he was super cute then. Can't wait to watch him in this! I also adore Deng Wei from Miss the Dragon, so can't wait to watch them!
Does anyone know the actress for Xiao who is serving under Yu Huan (Liu Haikun's character) right now? She seems like she might have a bigger role and relationship with Yu Huan, but also maybe not. I skimmed the recent episodes up to 22 and there isn't much of her. Also, I'm a bit lost. Who is the character Zhu Yan, played by Li Xi Meng?
I randomly started this because of su xiaotong and wang youshuo (saw that they'll be the 2nd couple) and i'm enjoying this a lot more than i thought! I like a good ensemble cast going on mystery detective stuff. :)
When he finds her all drunk on the playground and immediately went NOPE "I don't know her" and tries to leave, I laughed so hard. He already experienced once what she's like when she's drunk, lmao, he didn't want to deal with it again LOLLLL. Also, it was so funny how she used her shoe to "call" him, pffttttttttttt
An underrated drama! I'm not quite done with yet (about halfway) but there are so many things to love. Also, I love the ending theme so much. It's so catchy and hearing Murong Jielun's voice speaking about being with Chen Meiru gets to me every time.
I wish he had more projects! I thought he was very memorable in The Sleepless Princess. Funny enough, I didn't realize that he was in Song of Youth either and enjoyed his performance there too. He has very good visuals and I hope he gets more jobs soon.

Started this drama yesterday and now I'm almost done and I'm so happy I started this!! It's emotional, it's heartwarming, it's uplifting, it's hilarious--Japanese dramas really have the range, huh. I'm so sad I'm at the end of already but I look forward to their future projects!
I'm sad to hear that many folks didn't like wang yizhe as the main male role or felt like he didn't step up. For me, it was refreshing to see him in this kind of role after seeing him as mostly the best friend supporting character. I thought he did well in bringing a youthful Sun Yulou who was part naive, part mischievous, and overall full of love and sincerity for Lin Shaochun. I enjoyed him greatly and hope he can get these kind of roles more often.
This drama is so hilarious and surprisingly heartfelt too! It's a shame that more people aren't into this.
season 2 is subbed by the same group but unfortunately they still haven't finished it. they said they should be picking it up eventually but it's been several years so it might not happen anymore.
The only bad thing about this show is that it's too short. Does anyone know if a second season has been confirmed yet? I really hope so. The actors were great!
