Nice! My heart is always looking for more romcoms to watch so will check out some of these that I haven't seen before. I definitely recommend Love Destiny. In recent years, I don't think any other lakorn (other than F4 Thailand right now) have made such a huge splash in Asia the way Love Destiny did. It had people of so many languages covering the OSTs and literally got a second season to be made. Hopefully it'll be released this year!!
zheng yecheng, as always, is perfect as the cool and capable commander!! I'm only around episode 12 so far, but this has been pretty good and so I'm so glad for him. <3 Also, zheng yecheng just looks SO GOOD in his commander outfits. I'm especially happy we get to see him with a high ponytail. I think in his previous historical dramas, it's been tied up or half-up with a bun w/ the bottom half untied. <3 I hope this drama ends well and makes him even more popular <3
Thoroughly enjoyed this drama from beginning to end (ep28) so far and wonder what 29 & 30 will be about! I didn't…
Episode 1-10: set up on their foundational relationship (and how there were feelings even before Tingzhou became Mu Yun) before triggering the main plot point that changes their lives. Mu Yun at this early point still only sees himself as a minister to the princess and does everything out of duty and responsibility.
Episode 11-20: Mu Yun starts to recognize his own feelings and falls in love with the princess while Ming Wei has a real and important struggle about whether to act on her own feelings considering the implications and consequences. Eventually, after a lot of necessary back-and-forth, especially witnessing their suffering being apart, they are finally together and happy and their decision makes sense. To suffer for an unknown future, wouldn't it be better to cherish what they have currently?
Episode 21-28: The story then brings back the question: how much is Mu Yun like Tingzhou and vice versa? By having Tingzhou remember again--but going back before they even filmed Grand Cabinet Grand Tutor. I thought this was interesting because I thought he was going to remember that. In a way, Mu Tingzhou gets to have his own love awakening just like Mu Yun and Ming Wei gets to realize that they are essentially the same person and that Tingzhou, even without Grand Tutor, has always had feelings for her.
Thoroughly enjoyed this drama from beginning to end (ep28) so far and wonder what 29 & 30 will be about! I didn't have a problem with the length of the amnesia arc at all! I saw it in three major waves. I'll put it in the comments for spoilers.
Started this a while back and stopped for some reason. Coming back now because just found out that Wang Anyu played the second male lead! Love him right now.
Wang Anyu! I just watched him in Dreaming Back to the Qing Dynasty. I miss him and want more dramas of him! Also, what is this drama going to be out???
How about an anniversary fanfic? I love your Reunion story so much 🥰
Hi! That's so very kind of you. I'm so glad that my fic still resonates with you after all these months! Writing another fic is honestly something that I'm thinking about. If I do write something, will let you know! <3
Hey everyone, happy one-year anniversary since Killer and Healer aired!! <333 It aired last year from March 3-March 24, so let's give it a lot of love--on whichever platforms you are on and on this comment section. <333
Everyone I've talked to about this series raves about what a huge BL drama it is. I'm on episode 26, and I don't…
Did you check out the cut scenes? Some of the more BL-vibe scenes were cut from the actual episodes. Also, for Chinese dramas, this is as BL as it gets, considering the censorship in China. Fun fact: This drama is an original script--most likely with more BL details but was cut down during editing process. This story has an audio drama and a novel that IS BL. So, based from that, you know that this drama is intended to be BL but, due to censorship, it was toned down.
Can't believe that I just started this drama now in 2022! I'm one ep14 right now and am enjoying it so much. All the characters' development is good so far and the conflicts are good so far. I hope it doesn't disappoint!
I can't agree more. I found him and his acting fitting the role perfectly. I started watching the drama because…
Yes! He has a sweet charm and I like that it fits his character. He's trying so hard to imitate his older brother and be like his brother and do as his mother wants but he's also still young. I adored that one episode where they mentioned how he used to be the most playful until his brother passed away.
Also, zheng yecheng just looks SO GOOD in his commander outfits. I'm especially happy we get to see him with a high ponytail. I think in his previous historical dramas, it's been tied up or half-up with a bun w/ the bottom half untied. <3 I hope this drama ends well and makes him even more popular <3

It comes a full circle and I appreciate that.
