Okay, at first this drama was kind of boring but I'd say after episode 6, it finally got more interesting. Now that I'm caught up on episode 10, I'm more invested! My favorite so far is the supreme lord of the demon realm. He's so cute!
The demon guy and the fairy god cook lady... 👀 I like their dynamic a lot. Can someone let me know if their relationship develop into anything romantic?? Thanks!
So glad I gave this a chance! There was no summary so I had no idea what I was getting into. For anyone else wondering, here's how I would summarize this mini drama:
Chu Ning Yuan is the weak 7th prince, unfavored and unprotected, until the maid Shen Yan protects him one day and promises to help him get the throne in exchange for his help for her revenge. Five years later, he's no longer helpless while she is getting closer to the truth of her family's extermination. They must be as ruthless as villains to survive the palace and reach their goals--but when it comes to each other, can they really be heartless?
Is there actually any news are people just randomly moving cast around?? If it's really Zheng Yecheng, I hope that's true. I love Zheng Yecheng but sadly his recent dramas have disappointed--storyline-wise, not because of him. I couldn't even finish Mirror Twin Cities since I didn't care for the main couple and ZYC was only the second male lead. Love Under the Full Moon was kind of boring and he didn't have much chemistry with Ju Jingyi.
Zheng Yecheng does best with comedy and action and I believe he can do more serious roles too. Unfortunately, none of his recent dramas have allowed him to shine in that category. His older dramas (2020 and older) are probably better to shine a light on his serious acting: Royal Nirvana (royal court drama), The Sleepless Princess (historical romcom but with some sides of angst drama), and Love of Thousand Years (wuxia drama). He especially looks great as a "general" character dressed in armor and everything--like how he looked in My Sassy Princess.
If the character of Chang Yuan is a "general" kind of character (stoic, serious), then Zheng Yecheng can definitely pull that off.
The Chilan/Crown Prince relationship is part of a plot twist, so I can't say much without a spoiler. When the…
Oh yeah, I just finished it and I'm low key disappointed. :/ I really liked the actor for the crown prince and that plot twist is very sad for me. SIGH.
Hi, no specific spoilers please, but can someone let me know if the ending is good or sad for the pairing of General Chilan and Qian crown prince Wen Ying? Thank you! (Just a simply "they get a good ending" or "they get a sad ending" is good for me!) I'm on episode 20 right now and they literally only had one interaction, but I'm already very invested in their storyline, whether it's good or sad, lol.
Maybe I'll one day come back and finish this but it's not my priority. I kept going for Jeremy, Deng Wei, and Wang Zhuo Cheng, but sadly it's not keeping my attention right now.
Thank you so much! I've been patiently waiting for you guys since you guys do really great job with subs. Thank…
Crying! THANK YOU ALL FOR FINISHING THIS DRAMA!!! My sister and I adore this drama and we both really wanted to finish the second season too but we've been waiting. Thank you x 1000000!!! You guys are the best!!!
