Although I haven't started this drama yet, I just want to thank the subbers for doing this drama. I love zheng yecheng a lot and have been going through his dramas. This one was one of the more difficult ones to find with English subs, so, truly, thank you to the subbers & I hope you finish subbing the rest of season 2. He looks really great in this drama and this drama itself seems very interesting. Thank you again and I hope season 2 gets finished subbing.

So, I finished it! It wasn't as horrible as I thought. I think because I made sure to keep my expectations low (and probably also the fact that I had already faced a /truly/ bad ending for a show before that now no endings from any other show can faze me lmao) that this was like meh. It'll do.

Came here for hu yixuan after the sleepless princess, but also recognized Miles from Fall in Love! Thought he was pretty cute. Now I'm low-key looking forward to this!

If I remember correctly, I believe the ML likes the FL first--I think he makes the first move.

Any updates on when this drama will air? I miss Peng Xiao Ran. :( Also, looks like Jin Han is the ML...which I'm lukewarm about. I hope this drama can change my mind about him.

At first, I wasn't sure about zhao lusi in this kind of more serious drama, but I'm watching her in Love of Thousand Years right now and I am impressed and have confidence that she can do this role.

Since this is only a 24 episode drama, I hope they'll finish filming within a couple months, take a couple months for post production, and then release this in late summer/early fall. Please! I miss zheng yecheng so much.
Edit: I've heard that people have highly anticipated zheng yecheng and ju jingyi to do a drama together. Because they've both been prominent in historical roles, people wanted to see them in a historical drama together. Of course, this will be a modern one though, but I'm getting even more excited for this drama. Just knowing how good zheng yecheng is and how ju jingyi has been improving, I really look forward to what their dynamic will be. Wishing this drama success!

can anyone tell me how much screen time zheng yecheng has in this drama?

I'm getting nervous because I like this drama a lot already (only on ep4 so far) but from the reviews, it seems like it doesn't end satisfactory. So far, though, I really like all the characters so far and I adore zheng yecheng's flirty character (which is different from how I've seen him from The Sleepless Princess).

So, I'm finally far enough into the drama to see why everyone was complaining about fu rong's lack of trust in xu jin and although I agree to a certain point, I must say that xu jin is terrible at communicating. basically, both of them suck at communication and, at this point in the drama where I'm at, it's more stupid and frustrating than angsty and necessary.

Just watched episode 1 and that was a wild ride.

Also, I've seen the actor for Dr. Ru in Arsenal Military Academy! He was a jerk in that one lmao so I hope he's super cute in this one!
