A MOVIE TOO?????? yes!!! I know the sequel has been in the works forever. :/ Starting to feel like it'll never come out. Can't believe it'll already be three years since the series aired. I've missed them! Happy to hear about the movie, yay! Pope & Bella have amazing chemistry and can't wait to see them again.
Episode 1 so far and I feel so bad for Aoey. I mean, he's taking it pretty well so far with her strange behavior, but man, the way that she does whatever to avoid his affection makes me so sad. I hope she starts to like him more soon because I don't know how much longer I can watch her be like this.
There's like NO info right now but I'm seeing floating around on Twitter that Zheng Yecheng is being rumored as the ML cast...I really hope so!! I love zheng yecheng so much and want to see him in more works.
Holy crap, I'm enjoying this drama so much more than I ever expected! I vaguely remember the Taiwanese one (although I don't think I ever finished it due to how wacky it was), so it doesn't affect my viewing of this one. And I like this one so so much. Ahhhh, I really hope it doesn't disappoint me later on (currently on ep14).
I don't know if you saw that it'll also be on Viki? There's no English subs yet, but it's nice to know that Viki…
Agreed. I gave up completely on MGTV's app due to bad subs. It's also been getting worse on their YouTube channel where they'll sub some episodes but then leave out some episodes. :(
(In the Sleepless Princess, they didn't put out Eng subs for ep19&20. For Perfect and Casual, they didn't have Eng subs for episode 7. For Begin Again, I think they stopped at like episode 4 and I just gave up on them ever putting it up. It's so frustrating, sigh.)
That is a very pointed assessment and thoughtful suggestion. I feel that most of the people who use MDL are fans…
John, agreed. And do you mean regarding Zheng Shuang's dramas? Or about dramas in general? For Zheng Shuang's completed but unaired dramas, typically, if you check out her profile on MDL, you'll see the ones that are "TBA." (The commenter above you also wrote a couple titles that Zheng Shuang had already filmed as a main lead but are not aired.)
I'm grateful to many people in the comments who pointed out the messiness of this article. This situation is quite serious and it should've been better. Instead of presenting more on Zheng Shuang's ongoing situation and the potential fallout (and current fallout already) and, you know, focusing on her and what's happening, I'm supposed to care about this drama featuring Lee Jong Suk? The man is fine. He'll have plenty of dramas in the future. Using his face and name for this difficult situation right now is very iffy. C'mon, MDL. The Hallyu ban in China is still ongoing, by the way, and there has been no news about whether it'll be lifted. There are many other dramas w/ Korean stars that are still shelved.
What this article should've done: -Explained the timeline of events about Zheng Shaung's scandal and clarified how it's still ongoing and more news and information from both sides are coming out every day -Explain the fallout so far, such as statements from different sponsors who have dropped her, and how this will affect her career overall. -THEN, relate it back to her current/future/shelved dramas, such as this one with Lee Jong Suk, and how it is highly unlikely to ever air. Use examples of how other Chinese actors/actresses' projects have been postponed, dropped, or shelved due to their behavior or wrongdoings--such as Fan Bing Bing's tax evasion in 2018.
It's highly unlikely that Zheng Shuang will be able to make a comeback ever again considering the severity of this situation, but, don't forget that this is an ongoing situation and isn't finalized yet.
Started this on a whim since I've heard about it for a while and know that it unexpectedly hit big, but man, 2017 was really something else for historical romcoms. Besides the low budget production, the FL is... :/ like the drama is funny, sure, but the issue of agency....it's difficult to get over it. I'll finish this drama and sees where it goes, but I got to around episode 13-14 and am slowing down.
Does anyone knows where to watch this drama English subs except the above listed websites?
I don't know if you saw that it'll also be on Viki? There's no English subs yet, but it's nice to know that Viki will be doing it since they'll have pretty good subtitles.
Sounds promising but no English subtitles, which is weird and disappointing considering this is Tencent who typically provides English subs. Hopefully that'll change soon!
Advice: if you're going to watch this, see if you can find episodes on one of those drama-hosting websites instead of YouTube. Unfortunately, the subtitles for the YouTube episodes are just okay, sometimes veering on bad. I feel like I didn't get the full emotional story because I watched it with just okay subs.

If you're talking about more generally, then MDL has a tab for "upcoming shows" at https://kisskh.at/shows/upcoming.
