I am gonna try my best to see this as a separate thing different from the webtoon cause the characters are just not the same... especially the villain Baek jin... he is just SOO different and is not as strong, smart, or charismatic as the webtoon version. Its like he is a watered down version. His backstory is also different. I loved his original backstory. He is just lame here... Hu Min seems superior to him. Even the union is like a watered down smaller version. Doesn't help that my favorite character (Jake Ji) doesn't exist. I feel like if i separate it from the manhwa I might like it more.
The ML's ending was sad 😭😭 I honestly hated the new professor but also all people around him failed him. He wouldn't have died if one person helped him from going astray and drinking that much. He could've had a bright future 😭
ML is really EVIL huh? he even killed his orphanage friend who was actually nice to him just to get his identity and money. Seems like the only thing he REALLY cares about is his sister and would do anything for her. I really wonder how this drama will end.

I am sick of shows just forgetting all the bad things villain did for a cheap “ redemption “. The manhwa actually made us feel sad for him but without actually “redeeming” him. I just don’t see how he can be “friends” with the main characters. It doesn’t work like that.
