I have never seen a chinese historical/fantasy drama. I know that there are a lot of great ones out there and I do plan to watch them at some point, but after hearing this dramas plot I just had to start this (even though it's poking fun at a genre I have never watched before) and I have to say that I am loving every single second of this drama so far! It's funny that the first ever kdrama I watched was Dramaworld, which was about a kdrama fan waking up and finding herself in the kdrama rom com she's watching and now the first cdrama of this genre I'm watching is about a girl who writes cdramas and wakes up in the cdrama she's writing.

I actually really liked this mini series. I found TOSSARA quite boring - I skipped through most of the drama, but this one had some brilliant chemistry and some real drama and I was compelled the whole way through. Sad it was so short.

I’ve always wanted to but somehow have never gotten around to watching a Yoon Shi Yoon drama before, so it looks like this will be my first! Very exciting, I love his variety shows!

It was supposed to air today right?Did it get postponed?
King The Eternal Monarch only aired one episode 2 weeks ago and since this takes its time slot they postponed it a week.

I read up a bit after I finished it and I definitely now understand generally that he is going to go back to kill his uncle instead of focusing on saving his younger self and him and his uncle have to enter their own void places at the same time to actually go back in time. But it's little things I didn't get like, Why did Lee Lim suddenly come out of hiding so suddenly - he has this big plan and yet when everything freezes he decided to face off with Lee Gon - I know the mum was dying but it seems strange that it was that easy. I'm also still not completely sure why Lee Lim wanted the flute - what does infinity and eternity mean? Also Lee Gon said to Shin Jae and Young that he hadn't told tae eul that he was going back to kill his uncle but that was just after he'd told her exactly that - I think. And the time travelling thing is messing with my head because if Lee Gon does go back in time to kill his uncle then older Lee Gon who had a reason to kill his uncle will never have existed so then surely his uncle wouldn't be dead. Also if Tae Eul could remember the first timeline her and Lee Gon met as well as the second then why would she not be able to remember him in the new timeline where they've never met. These might just be picky little things but maybe I wasn't paying enough attention and people actually know the answers haha. I really enjoy this drama, I just had a lot of confusion with ep15 - the major stuff I understand now though. Thank you for replying! Haha

I got KTEM until episode 14. Like I understood the plot and what was going on, but episode 15 has me so confused. I'm going to go into the final not having a clue what the hell is happening. I've always enjoyed and been able to make sense of the nonsense of this drama, but they've really stumped me this time...maybe I'm just being dumb, but what actually happened in episode 15.
Went into the comment section hoping to see people discussing the plot of this drama, but that's definitely not what this comment section is for I guess.

Episode 7 and 8 stepped up the comedy even more. The boss trying to get into his car is one of the funniest scenes in any drama I think I've seen. But additionally the love story between Ha Ri and Yi Sang just continues to get more beautiful. I just love them both so much and I want him to tell her the truth ASAP so they can deal with it together as adults, but this is a kdrama and we are only half way through, so who knows how long that will take. There are a lot of brilliant dramas out at the moment but is definitely my favourite drama out right now - it's shaping up to be one of my favourites so far in 2020, I hope it keeps it up!

I feel like this drama was made for me. It's just everything I've ever wanted in a tv show. It's so weird and wonderful. It's not that I think it's a perfect drama that everyone will enjoy, but it's a drama that is perfect for me. Like a magical "conception dream" claw machine and a star crossed lovers gout movie spoof...what amazing writer would ever write such an amazing script - Ha Yoon Ah you're a genius and Jun Chang Geun captures their story in such a mystical way. I cry and I laugh every single episode, it's perfect!

I'm not loving it yet. I've only watched 2 hours so far, but I keep getting distracted and it's making me just really want to watch I'm Not A Robot again instead! It's from the same year and Yoo Seung Ho completely stole my heart in that.
The problem may be that the last drama I finished was You Who Came From The Star and it's now one of my all time favourites, so any drama I watch after it is going to be a downgrade. I'm going to power through a couple more episodes because I hate dropping dramas!

I can't help but still find Park Ki Woong oddly charming, even though he's playing the bratty chairman's son, I can't help but still like him, even if it's just because I find his terrible scheming laughably bad. I love a villain that I can laugh at though! But I'm thinking the chairman may come off looking more like the "bad guy" than him in the end.

Being that YWCFTS was one of my first dramas I watched in the year I started drama watching had such an impact…
I’ve been watching kdramas for almost 4 years now, but somehow I only got to YWCFTS now. I can’t believe I waited so long! I had such a wonderful time watching it. It’s definitely a drama I’m going to remember for a long long time.

The posters and promos for this drama just keep making it look better and better. After that teaser I’m even happier that casting didn’t end up working out with Park Shin Hye. Just because Seo Ye Ji and Kim Soo Hyuns chemistry seems brilliant.
(Also I only just finished watching You Who Came From The Stars for the first time and so I’m emotionally unstable right now and need some more Kim Soo Hyun in my life)

King The Eternal Monarch only aired 1 episode last week and since this drama is taking its time slot hopefully it’ll only be delayed an extra week, so fingers crossed MDL now has it right and there won’t be any further delays!

JCW said he decided to do it because of the director. His last drama, Fiery Priest is supposed to be amazing. But I really wouldn’t have thought that that director, just after his massive success with FP would choose to work with a screenwriter who’s only written average dramas so far. But it must be a good enough script to get such an amazing team involved.

I'd only ever seen him in XX. And now I've started watching My Unfamiliar Family and it's embarrassing to say how long it took me to realise he was in also XX which I watched only a couple months ago. Two very different characters, but he's very likeable in both. Intrigued to see more of his work.

It looks like I'm definitely in the minority of feeling this, but I've loved the past 3 or 4 episodes. Before then I liked it but I wasn't invested. Now I am so so invested. I went back and watched the flower scene which before hadn't affected me and this time it actually made me tear up - I've read a lot of very sad theories. So I'm really enjoying this. It feels so epic and I'm loving the dramatic reveals each episode- even the more predictable ones are revealed in such an epic way that I still love them. Definitely a great drama for me personally. I feel like the last 3 episodes are going to be completely insane, so insane some people will hate them, but I know I will love their insanity.
