This is actually my favourite web series I’ve seen so far. It’s just managed to beat Kiss Scene In Yeonnamong. I just loved how well this explored female friendship. I’m gonna remember this one
I was already having second lead syndrome when I heard casting news of my long time fave HEJ with SJH. I just…
SJH has quickly become one of my favourites and he is always the SML it's getting so annoying. I want to see his character get a happy ending!!! It reminds me of how Ji Soo always used to be SML - so I'm hoping SJH like Ji Soo will get to be a ML soon
I might have to drop this. Although I think the performances are brilliant, I'm still not loving the present day scenes. The past scenes are so beautiful and overflow with this insane chemistry, but I think that's hindered rather than helped them in present day, because their chemistry just can't live up to that and they are obviously what the majority of the drama focuses on... Drama gods please give Park Jin Young and Jeon So Nee their own drama, chemistry this intense is rare!
I was fully prepared to get second or third lead syndrome with this drama, but Go Joon and Jang Naras chemistry is so insane. I'm so invested in Ha Ri and Yi Sang getting a happy ending. I haven't felt chemistry this brilliant for a while - I really hope they don't throw us a curveball! Anyway I'm so obsessed.
This drama is brilliant. It is funny, magical and emotional. Every episode is so fun to watch. I'm completely enchanted by it. I can't say enough good things! I never imagined a drama would take me to the dream world, the subconscious, the afterlife and even have death as big character...it should be a mess to have all these things in the first 4 episodes of a drama, but somehow this one makes all those things work!
What!? Hani's younger brother!? And he's not been in anything, but all the sudden he's in two dramas I'm watching right now! Really enjoying his role in Mystic Pop-Up Bar!
This is a fun "mystical" drama. I wasn't expecting to have this much fun with the first 2 episodes. I laughed and I cried. I do love a 'found family' drama plot. I was especially intrigued in the journey into the subconscious. I hope we have more really creative storylines like that in future episodes!
The cinematography is stunning. Lee Se Young is fantastic. I couldn't find a version with subtitles, but I'd read a couple reviews beforehand and the film itself visually makes clear what is happening. I didn't expect this film to be so dark. I'd love to see this film again with subtitles to get a deeper understanding of it, but it managed to keep my attention without me actually understanding what was said, so it was interesting
I was not prepared for such an emotional first episode. I was expecting a light hearted comedy. It was a great first episode, I was just not prepared.(Also I'm watching You Who Came From the Stars right now and how does Park Hae Jin look even younger here- that was 7 years ago!?)
I know that this drama isn't for everyone, but personally I love it. I'm not at all invested in the whole selling secrets to China plot, but I also love a lot about this drama: the action sequences (that umbrella fight was insane) - I find it really funny, there are a lot of laugh out loud moments for me - I also just love all the characters particularly Mi Soo and Woo Won - and I'm actually really invested in seeing where the relationship between Woo Won and Ye Eun goes, I seriously love their scenes. So I'm halfway through and I really don't want this drama to ever end.
Lee Hyun Wook can’t be the male lead though, right? Isn’t the webtoon a noona romance? He’s 5 years older than Won Jin Ah. But none of the cast is officially confirmed yet, so it will probably change, it’s already changed a couple times. Rowoon was off the cast list and then came back too, so who knows. Fingers crossed for Rowoon to be back though!
In the trailer it labelled itself a rom-com. So although it’ll probably still have minor melo themes, it will mainly be a rom-com. I don’t know why but I thought it was going to be a hardcore melodrama with nothing but pain and sadness. I’m much happier with a rom com. Melos get too depressing for me.
I don't know why I thought this was a sad melodrama. I wasn't sure I was going to be able to deal with Kim Soo Hyun in a depressing melodrama after how long it's been. His crying scenes affect me too much. But I'm so happy this is a rom com.
GMMTV has a lot of great young actors who are just starting out their careers and i hope they will be able to have long careers past their time at GMMTV. Nanon is definitely the golden boy of GMMTV, but he’s a great actor so it feels like he’s earned that title, even though he’s still so young.
I'm so excited for the next episodes of this drama. It has a really nice balance between humorous and more serious scenes. I'm already loving the leads chemistry. And it's great to see Jung Gun Joo back on my screen.
Drama gods please give Park Jin Young and Jeon So Nee their own drama, chemistry this intense is rare!
