I've been in a drama slump for a long time precisely because there were no good romcoms left for me to watch!!…
I'd definitely recommend this one. I smiled the whole way through and it doesn't take itself too seriously. Also it's filled with cute moments already. You can tell the cast are having so much fun. Such a nice break from the dark dramas.
I just finished the first 2 episodes and I'm grinning from ear to ear. We barely get any rom com dramas anymore but this is a classic. I'm so in love and I had high expectations. It's strange and cliched, but it's the type of drama that's been missing from drama land for a little while now! I'm so happy!
Plus they are already started the presale of the ebox with the entire serie plus specials, how can they do that…
I never saw the tweets from the director. I just posted on tumblr that I was annoyed we were getting 2 beach episodes and I got 3 replies referencing tweets that were sent out by the director. I also thought it was very strange but so many people have said that they’ve seen the tweets. the beach stuff was filmed 6 months ago, so I don’t get why it isn’t finished
So the director apparently has now said that after episode 10, best case scenario is that there will be a really long hiatus till the final 2 episodes, or worst case that they will just air 2 long episodes of behind the scenes footage and just release that as the final 2 episodes. This is such a shame. I was really really enjoying this cast and their chemistry, but of course their safety is the most important thing, BUT that doesn't mean that this being the ending doesn't suck less.
So after the first episode I was so confused I was definitely considering dropping this drama but after giving episode 2 a go I'm all the way in. I went in expecting to just feel confused again but I let the drama just wash over me instead and I felt every emotion the characters were portraying and I loved the experience of watching this second episode and I'm very excited for next week now. I actually cried whilst watching a drama I had really disliked an hour before, it's so strange.
I really like the cast and the aesthetic, but I really don't understand what's happening. Vikis subs aren't making sense all the time in the first episode so I'm comparing 2 different sets of subs to see if that makes it any clearer. But I'm still not understanding certain points of the story, little things like why did Kim Ji Soo go to the recording studio, they didn't talk about it, she was just there like it was normal? I loved the screenwriters movie Tune in For Love so I don't understand why I'm so lost watching this show. And I'm so busy being confused I'm struggling to enjoy it and this is one of my most anticipated dramas. I'm so annoyed.
This is literally based on a movie all about a guy realising that no matter what he loves his wife more than anything and people are hating on it thinking it’s about the opposite
I'm only 6 episodes in but this drama is so lovely. When I think of what I want from a kdrama this has everything I look for. These two leads have insane chemistry. No wonder they were dating in real life. What a shame he had to do his military service right after!
Did anyone else see the shade that the Taiwanese web drama ‘Because Of You 2020’ posted on their Instagram account? It said something along the lines of “don’t worry our characters are rich so they don’t have to buy their own salt.” - how dare they!? I was Reading that crying and laughing at the same time.
I don't love this drama, but I keep watching because the main character is such a refreshing one. I feel like we have so many dramas about characters pursuing their dreams, but we have so few about characters that don't know what their dreams are. And I feel like that's a much more common feeling than we'd all expect. And so I like that this drama is making people like me feel a little less alone.
is it a happy ending ? satisfying as well? mark as spoiler thanks in advance
It’s a drama that’s really slow to get subs, so I have avoided the final 2 episodes until they are subbed. But it’s very much a classic romantic kdrama at its core so I’d assume a happy ending. But I don’t know for certain.
I've watched episode 9 after months and months of staying on episode 7. I'm gonna consider this drama as completed now. I know the ending and I really don't need to see it to experience it. Words can not describe how stunningly beautiful this drama is, it just doesn't have my type of ending.
So let me get this straight, at the moment it looks like Kim Chung Ah and Joon Hwi will go their separate ways at the end, even though their relationship is the main reason I'm going to be able to complete this drama. AND...haha....AND Kim Seol Ah is going to choose to end up with a guy who disrespect and cheated on her because he hung around her and complained for long enough. And she's choosing that guy over her first ever friend, best friend, who made her heart flutter for the first time and made her realise she can actually fall in love...because that makes so much sense. it's so ridiculous.
He's making his acting debut this summer in a webtoon as a male lead who steps out of a manhwa into the real world - Extraordinary You vibes - yes please
I’ve caught up with the entirety of Forest in 2 days knowing the last 2 episode would be out today and I catch up to only find its one of those kdramas that takes ages to be subbed. I have tears running down my face and I NEED TO SEE HOW IT ENDS NOW!
