Did anyone else crack up in episode 18 when that shareholder in that tech company was listening to a tape on how to use a smartphone in your sixties. Because I'm crying with laughter, so random.
I love that she was in Love With Flaws, skipped a drama and then got another roll in the drama that took Love With Flaws time slot. She never stops! I’ll take any Kim Seul Gi I can get, so hurry up Find Me In Your Memory!!!
I’m watching this drama for 2 reasons now. 1. Im Joo Hwan - his acting is so interesting to watch. The way he plays this serial killer is different from anything I’ve seen before. I saw him in oh my ghost and in uncontrollably fond but I was never the biggest fan of the characters he played, but in this drama whenever he’s on screen I just can’t take my eyes off of him. I don’t like his character but I do enjoy watching him. 2. The directing - from the first episode I couldn’t believe my eyes how beautiful this drama is, and it keeps on getting better and better. Every episode I find myself gasping at how beautifully they’ve shot a certain scene. I seriously can’t wait for this director to find someone who can write on the same level that he directs at.
The Game: Towards Zero doesn't have the best script, there are so many plot holes, BUT I will not hear a bad word about the direction and cinematography, it's honestly stunning! I keep catching my breath at how beautiful every shot is, so I can't wait to see what Jang Joon Ho will produce with a writer in his level.
I'm considering dropping this drama, just because I've gotten behind and think it's a bit too dark to marathon to catch up. To be clear I was enjoying it it's just not looking like its going to be one of my favorites. I'm on episode 12/32, for those who are still watching it, should I keep going or should I drop it, what have the most recent episodes been like?
Apparently Romance dramas just arent big ratings hits in Korea anymore, so they are making a lot less, which means a lot less chances for good heart fluttering dramas to be made. Like if you look at upcoming dramas the number of rom coms is so low its crazy and the number of other genre dramas that are tagged with romance is also so low. Its sad, they really are catching up with the US, romantic TV shows just don't appeal to large audiences anymore globally apparently
If you tap it the rating is actually 8.8 - so 6.8 must be a glitch. I thought some crazy news had come out about this drama and everyone was all the sudden hating on it. I actually gasped because its the best first 2 episodes of a GMMTV drama I’ve ever seen
I'm going to admit that episodes 55 to 75 were really dull for me - Kang Shi Wols now regular appearances being the only thing I completely enjoyed and looked forward to in those 20 episodes. But episode 76 it's like the writer woke up and realised everything we enjoyed in the first 55 episodes and finally gave that stuff back to us. We've got back Kim Seol Ah and Moon Tae Rang back to being in love with each other rather than being cold and stabdoff-ish and having zero interactions and just ignoring one another. We also have my faves Joon Hwi and Chung Ah back to being so awkward and adorable that I squeal when they're on screen AGAIN. The past 20 episodes their scenes had bored and depressed me but now I'm grinning ear to ear again.
Episodes 1-3 were enjoyable, I liked it, but 4 & 5 were so confusing- I'm still not really sure what happened in either of them - also there were so many inconsistencies from episode to episode - it was like they expected you to forget important plot moments. I'm not even annoyed because I'm mostly just confused. The 2 leads acting was the only good and believable aspect of this show throughout. Never heard of either of them but will look out for them in the future!
This drama reminds me of why I started watching dramas in the first place. It makes me smile, the leads have this heart fluttering chemistry and it's packed with swoon worthy scenes. It's a sweet drama, not mind blowing, but so enjoyable anyway! I love the leads together and I definitely don't want Gaedong with Soo, but I really loved Soo in this and my biggest wish was that he ended this drama happy... he's a new favourite actor of mine, so talented and likeable, so from now on, like I did with Ji Soo I will wait till it is his time to be a romantic male lead!
I'm with all the other comments here - just waiting for the day when he will become a romantic male lead. I really hope Welcome won't be another painful second male lead drama for him, but I think we all know it will be!
This webseries is truly magic. I love it and it's not just become one of my favourite webseries, but one of my favourite dramas I've ever watched. It deserves so much attention and love.
The "villain" in this show had always annoyed and bugged me, but it took until episode 15 where they made me so angry I had to turn off the drama for a little while. Just how could he ruin one of my favourite characters dreams...HOW??!
After episode 3 I was so excited, - but I don't know if the subs were off or if it was poorly written/edited but I didn't get episode 4 - the majority of that episode is a mess of confusion for me....WHO IS TONY - is it a dog or a human? And I don't know what's going on with that rich girl, and the pendulum- is he like a god or ghost or something!?!?! I'm upset because 3 was so so good!
This drama has now gotten a lot slower for me. What was originally occasional heartbreak and melodrama has now become constant and it is making it a difficult watch. I've watched 70 episodes though! I can't give up with only 30 left.
This show is so good, but it's that level of being so good that I don't realise how brilliant it is till I'm sobbing at the end of every single episode...it's not even about playing baseball, it's about baseball team management, so HOW DOES IT EFFECT ME LIKE THIS!!!???
I am so shocked that this drama was able to make me go from hating to loving Lim Dong Gyu in one episode. I seriously disliked him but somehow these amazing writers made me care for him and want him to play for dreams again. I really want him back on the team but I don't know if I can accept that if it means Doo Ki is traded back to the Vikings because Doo Ki is so honourable and lovely and Dreams is the team he has always wanted to play for and really there is zero reason that he should lose his chance AGAIN to play for HIS team. I JUST LOVE HIM AND IT'S NOT FAIR!!!
The cinematography in this drama is STUNNING! I keep catching my breath at how beautiful so many of the shots are. Also episode 3/4 had me bawling my eyes out. If it only takes 2 episodes to make me cry that's a sign of a fantastic drama.
