I feel like this drama was made for me. It's just everything I've ever wanted in a tv show. It's so weird and wonderful. It's not that I think it's a perfect drama that everyone will enjoy, but it's a drama that is perfect for me. Like a magical "conception dream" claw machine and a star crossed lovers gout movie spoof...what amazing writer would ever write such an amazing script - Ha Yoon Ah you're a genius and Jun Chang Geun captures their story in such a mystical way. I cry and I laugh every single episode, it's perfect!
I'm not loving it yet. I've only watched 2 hours so far, but I keep getting distracted and it's making me just really want to watch I'm Not A Robot again instead! It's from the same year and Yoo Seung Ho completely stole my heart in that. The problem may be that the last drama I finished was You Who Came From The Star and it's now one of my all time favourites, so any drama I watch after it is going to be a downgrade. I'm going to power through a couple more episodes because I hate dropping dramas!
I can't help but still find Park Ki Woong oddly charming, even though he's playing the bratty chairman's son, I can't help but still like him, even if it's just because I find his terrible scheming laughably bad. I love a villain that I can laugh at though! But I'm thinking the chairman may come off looking more like the "bad guy" than him in the end.
Being that YWCFTS was one of my first dramas I watched in the year I started drama watching had such an impact…
I’ve been watching kdramas for almost 4 years now, but somehow I only got to YWCFTS now. I can’t believe I waited so long! I had such a wonderful time watching it. It’s definitely a drama I’m going to remember for a long long time.
The posters and promos for this drama just keep making it look better and better. After that teaser I’m even happier that casting didn’t end up working out with Park Shin Hye. Just because Seo Ye Ji and Kim Soo Hyuns chemistry seems brilliant. (Also I only just finished watching You Who Came From The Stars for the first time and so I’m emotionally unstable right now and need some more Kim Soo Hyun in my life)
King The Eternal Monarch only aired 1 episode last week and since this drama is taking its time slot hopefully it’ll only be delayed an extra week, so fingers crossed MDL now has it right and there won’t be any further delays!
Seriously! The webtoon sucks and the storyline would fit right into a 19+ manhwa. However so many "based on a…
JCW said he decided to do it because of the director. His last drama, Fiery Priest is supposed to be amazing. But I really wouldn’t have thought that that director, just after his massive success with FP would choose to work with a screenwriter who’s only written average dramas so far. But it must be a good enough script to get such an amazing team involved.
I'm so surprised by how much I loved episode 1. There's a lot of interesting relationships set up by that first episode, I can't wait to see where this goes. I'm very interested!
I really wanted to see her kdrama 'So I Married An Anti Fan' but since it looks like we are never going to get that I'm happy we have 'My Unfamiliar Family' now.
I'd only ever seen him in XX. And now I've started watching My Unfamiliar Family and it's embarrassing to say how long it took me to realise he was in also XX which I watched only a couple months ago. Two very different characters, but he's very likeable in both. Intrigued to see more of his work.
It looks like I'm definitely in the minority of feeling this, but I've loved the past 3 or 4 episodes. Before then I liked it but I wasn't invested. Now I am so so invested. I went back and watched the flower scene which before hadn't affected me and this time it actually made me tear up - I've read a lot of very sad theories. So I'm really enjoying this. It feels so epic and I'm loving the dramatic reveals each episode- even the more predictable ones are revealed in such an epic way that I still love them. Definitely a great drama for me personally. I feel like the last 3 episodes are going to be completely insane, so insane some people will hate them, but I know I will love their insanity.
This is actually my favourite web series I’ve seen so far. It’s just managed to beat Kiss Scene In Yeonnamong. I just loved how well this explored female friendship. I’m gonna remember this one
I was already having second lead syndrome when I heard casting news of my long time fave HEJ with SJH. I just…
SJH has quickly become one of my favourites and he is always the SML it's getting so annoying. I want to see his character get a happy ending!!! It reminds me of how Ji Soo always used to be SML - so I'm hoping SJH like Ji Soo will get to be a ML soon
I might have to drop this. Although I think the performances are brilliant, I'm still not loving the present day scenes. The past scenes are so beautiful and overflow with this insane chemistry, but I think that's hindered rather than helped them in present day, because their chemistry just can't live up to that and they are obviously what the majority of the drama focuses on... Drama gods please give Park Jin Young and Jeon So Nee their own drama, chemistry this intense is rare!
I was fully prepared to get second or third lead syndrome with this drama, but Go Joon and Jang Naras chemistry is so insane. I'm so invested in Ha Ri and Yi Sang getting a happy ending. I haven't felt chemistry this brilliant for a while - I really hope they don't throw us a curveball! Anyway I'm so obsessed.
This drama is brilliant. It is funny, magical and emotional. Every episode is so fun to watch. I'm completely enchanted by it. I can't say enough good things! I never imagined a drama would take me to the dream world, the subconscious, the afterlife and even have death as big character...it should be a mess to have all these things in the first 4 episodes of a drama, but somehow this one makes all those things work!
What!? Hani's younger brother!? And he's not been in anything, but all the sudden he's in two dramas I'm watching right now! Really enjoying his role in Mystic Pop-Up Bar!
This is a fun "mystical" drama. I wasn't expecting to have this much fun with the first 2 episodes. I laughed and I cried. I do love a 'found family' drama plot. I was especially intrigued in the journey into the subconscious. I hope we have more really creative storylines like that in future episodes!
The problem may be that the last drama I finished was You Who Came From The Star and it's now one of my all time favourites, so any drama I watch after it is going to be a downgrade. I'm going to power through a couple more episodes because I hate dropping dramas!
