On So I Married the Anti-Fan May 6, 2020
I know that I really shouldn't have any hope about this drama being released, it's definitely been cancelled, but MDL have suddenly given it a release date and (although logically I know that means nothing) it's reignited my need to see this drama!

I'm going to be honest, last week the first 2 episodes didn't really affect me. I thought that it was a well made drama, I just didn't emotionally connect with the characters. But I'm almost finished with the third episode now and I don't know what's changed but my eyes keep tearing up because of how emotional this is! I'm completely sold. Although it's a very well known cast I've not seen any of them in anything before but I'm so blown away! Them in their 20s especially have such beautiful chemistry that it makes it all the more difficult to know that they didn't end up happily together, but I suppose that's what makes so real!

I haven't seen it yet, but for those of you who have do you think from the ending Netflix's intention is to do that thing where it releases half the drama now and if it's popular enough half later? They did that with Love Alarm and My First First Love where they released 8 episodes with the intention to film another 8 with the dramas actual conclusion. Or do you think this drama was only ever intended to be 10 episodes?

I've tried to binge this but I can't it's too frustrating and dark, don't get me wrong I love it and I think it's an amazing drama, just not something I can binge, it needs to have lighter elements for me to catch up before the finale. Just finished episode 5 and completely love it though!

I've just realised that Park Ji Eun seriously knows how to write brilliant female characters. I've only seen this, CLOY and Producers by her, but what that sticks out about each of those dramas are the female characters! There aren't ever the typical female leads or second female leads we see in Kdrama romcoms, they are so unique and real. Producers isn't her best drama, but IU as Cindy is one of my favourite characters ever. And Song Yi is quickly becoming a new favourite!

I’m so confused by all the comments here! I agree that it wasn’t the best episode of the drama, but no chemistry...what!? I’m honestly so surprised and don’t know where all the hates come from. It’s so weird because I started the drama seeing them as only “bros” but it was the quality of the drama and their on screen chemistry that got me to stop seeing them that way. Maybe it’s just because I’ve seen enough GMMTV dramas to know not to expect Tine and Sarawat to get a lot of “skinship”, but I’m so surprised that it took that and one average episode for everyone to turn their back on this brilliant drama and characters. WHAT!?

Yes!!! Kim Seul Gi is finally getting the adorable romance she deserves and it couldn't be with a cuter love interest!

So it’s saying 24th May, but with no poster or trailer, seems incredibly unlikely, hope i'm wrong though.

Wasn't the biggest fan of the first episode, but gave the second a go and really liked it. It's just going to be a short fun webseries that I can turn my brain off to, but I wish Lifetime webseries were on twice a week, it took 3 months for them to release all of their webseries Kiss Scene in Yeonnamdong and the total runtime for that drama was 2 hours! Loving this though!

They're definitely doing the story of nature versus nurture. And our past story in my opinion showed that they both have an effect but nurture won out over nature and so I think that means Jang Ki Yong will probably be the murderer in both times, whether they body swapped or not. I'm kind of annoyed about it because I actually feel a bit of chemistry between his present time character and Jin Se Yeons, where as (I'm definitely in the minority, but) I just feel zero chemistry between Lee Soo Hyuk and Jin Se Yeon. There's more chemistry between the 2 male leads to me. But for example even going off the main poster there's a clear divide between Jang Ki Yong's characters and our other 2 leads. It's just my opinion, but I think they're setting it up again so that Jang Ki Yongs character will always be in love with hers but never loved back, which is what most fans of the drama want, so it's probably the right move for the writer. I wish I could ship them, but I just don't... I know that relationships aren't the most important part of the show, but they're a part were definitely supposed to root for and im sadly not rooting for them.

I think I'm one of the few people who wasn't really that excited for this drama, but surprisingly the first episode seriously hooked me. Loved all 3 female leads, found their characters to be really unique and likeable. And Yoo In Young's character's relationship made me quite emotional and considering I've only seen the 1 episode thats impressive. Definitely will be watching more!

I truly enjoyed every moment of this drama. The journey I went on with these characters was brilliant and I have to appreciate how few plot holes they managed to end the show with considering how many there could have been. It kept the viewer guessing till the very last second of the very last episode- I’m so impressed!

Ah, yet another drama I thought was going well, trashed for being lame and confusing in the comments. And here…
I'm the same. All the dramas I've been enjoying recently, this included, seem to be getting non stop hate, it's so strange. For this drama in particular I enjoy watching it so much that I just don't agree with all the problems people are having with it.

I have been putting off starting this, because its quite close to what happened between my parents, but I've finally given in and watched the first episode and I can't believe how good this drama really is. I'm English but I missed the original BBC version so every twist and turn in this is new for me. I was actually shaking with anger at the end of the first episode due everything that's revealed. First episodes never affect me to that extent, I'm all in for this drama now! I'm going to have to try to catch up quick! Kim Hee Ae is a superstar.

Congratulations! Managing to convert a friend to become a kdrama fan is an extremely difficult task. I’ve tried so many times and sadly failed. I have always tried to convert friends with my first kdrama ‘Dramaworld’ which is a plotwise a little bit similar to Extraordinary You and half in English, half Korean (with the bonus of adorable Woo Do Hwan) and whilst friends always enjoy that they never end up following through with more. I tried Strong Woman DBS as a second drama and they all hated the humour, so maybe I should try Extraordinary You...that’s a really good idea.

I've not really watched much or in Lee Soo Hyuks cases any of these lead actors previous works, so i wasn't attached to any of them going into the first episodes, but I found that after the first and now second I'm a big fan of Jang Ki Yong. It's definitely also down to how great a job the writer did on his character, but Jang Ki Yong managed to pull off the character so so well and make me really care about and sympathise with him. The only problem for me was that because so much time was spent on making that character so human and real I really don't care too much for the lead couple. I don't really care if they're together or not and it's clear I'm supposed to think they're this epic couple that are meant to be. I just wish we got more time with them in the 'past' episodes because when they died it didn't really affect me. I think the body swap has obviously happened so I don't know how I feel about the only character I'm invested in now being played by another actor, it's strange. I loved the first episodes, i just wish we had more moments with the couple!
