I don't care about the ML's evil aunt. I don't care about the Dengs. We have the evil eunuch's fortune that everyone is trying to find for some reason. Greed? Anyhow, evil eunuch's evil adopted son who may or may not be castrated. Wait, I don't really understand that storyline either! 🤣 Though I have to admit that is a storyline I wasn't expecting! 🤣 jeez, tempting a chaste widow is punishable by skinning and dismembering? WTF was wrong with men back in ancient times!😱 No offense to Mrs Deng but damn this scene has gone on long enough. Half this episode is just long monologues about the Dengs. Can we please get back to the story?🥱 FL and ML tag teaming the nasty evil on Deng dude. Cool. Now, hopefully he died in that fire 🤞

Grab a horse, get one of those slow moving carts but running miles through town, outside of town, somehow to the ocean? Or maybe a big lake? And then fireworks. And the ML magically finding her too.🤐 Obviously evil concubine has never tried to clean up a liquid mess from the floor before. 🤣Sorry, is this scene supposed to be sad? 🤣 And now the evil father that doesn't care about anyone or anything is crying crocodile tears too? I liked The Glory. The glory is a great rebirth/revenge/justice novel. I enjoyed it a lot! I like the FL who schemes and since she already know what is going to happen fixes things in advance rather than passively waiting for all the bad shit to happen again. Kill Me Love Me is different. Well both are different from their dramas but Kill Me Love is really different. I personally didn't like the novel as well as the first 3 episodes of the drama. After the first 3 episodes the drama went to shit😂and in the novel the FL was just a passive weak nobody. Her character was irritating more than anything! But hey, it had a happy ending eventually!

I am reading Deng Hua Xiao right now and I have to tell you she is one of my favorite FLs ever. But I see no way they can ever adapt this to a drama. Unless it's 'adapted' like The Glory, Si Jin, Kill Me Love Me, etc. etc. Where some of the character names are the same and some of the places may be the same but the drama has nothing to do with the novel and vice versa!
This is another drama that is foreshadowing 'bad ending' for both leads. It's so far away from the novel that…
