Pls watch the drama version instead. Maybe because I watched the drama first, but this movie was very very concise.. alot of details not covered.

Any remakes of this will need to have high budget (for the computer graphics) and quality actors.. I think it will be hard to match this.

Intrigued by the short clips I have seen between the main leads and started because Ariel Lin's in this, but started to get bored from episode 16.. At episode 24, it's still kinda slow and there's not much scenes between the main leads. Bulk of it is their individual scenes with other characters or other side characters' scheming. Might be too early to judge because there's half more to go..

Although he's wearing an eye mask.. it's quite obvious that Lian Yi Ke is Chen Yu .

Watching it raw and liking it so far.. But the update is really slow with 1 episode per week. I think they are filming it while airing? The show will only end in May (3 more months to go??) so please don't start if you are binge watcher.

Dangermousie on tumblr described this drama as a weird duck and mentioned, " I love all the drama and the angst but my heart does not ache for them, it’s more of a detached appreciation" on tumblr. I think it's true. I (strangely?) did not cry for the sad scenes, maybe I was expecting this drama to be comedy, or already know the ending or fantasy drama don't appeal as much as say historical palace/dynasty type of dramas like Story of Yanxi Palace or Sound of Desert which is more realistic.

Having said that, there is undeniable chemistry between the main leads and cool computer graphics which was pretty much what kept me going. The show started with a bang with some comedic scenes but I think the latter half of the show dealt too much with side characters i.e. Runyu, Demon princess and Mu Ci. To each of their preference, but personally the side characters were not as appealing as the mains. Read somewhere it was meant to be 43 episodes but they extended it to 63. I thought it would have been better if they kept it at 43 episodes by removing some flashbacks, unnecessary character's pondering and filler scenes.

I think Deng lun and Yang zi gave justice to their characters, especially Deng Lun. It is also my first time knowing these actors, thanks to this show. The Moon immortal is probably the youngest moon immortal I have seen but nonetheless very pleasantly acted.

AOL started strong but couldn't sustain the same greatness from the middle episodes. The chemistry is good, but I think it is overrated in terms of execution and pacing. I am surprised Story of Yanxi Palace is not taking 1st place. It has higher international success.

Don't read the sypnosis on Dramafast too.. it's the same synposis as Viki. Regret reading it half way through the drama.

Hope there's season 3 to show their marriage life although there will probably be none.. But I really like the leads' chemistry, thought they look cute tgt

Agree that the body swapping wasn't the most ideal plot to execute. But I think it was necessary. Without that, I think they wouldn't have had the chance to develop their relationship. Its all part of the plan for them to grow closer

Re-watching this after a few years. Still one of the best dramas out there. The main leads is the limelight of the show. Ha Ji Won's acting is good. But Hyun Bin's acting is a notch higher. He portrayed his character with style, charisma and authenticity.

Love how this drama shows that the cinderella story is unrealistic. They used magic/unscientific ways to get the leads closer. And both leads are fully aware that they won't work out even before they got together. And they don't try to portray the family members of rich family eventually accepting them. I think in real life, the crazy rich will be with the crazy rich because they are on the same level

I'm at episode 2 but I still have no idea why Nak is so mean to Noi? Like what has he done wrong to her?

7/10 and I am being generous with this rating.. struggled to finish later half of S2. Season 1 was waaay better. The annoying stepsister and grandma's attitude changed 360 at the end, especially the grandma. It's like the producers decide, "Hey, we got to end this on a good note. Let's make the evil grandma become a gentle, loving person." Doesn't rly make sense because she has been nasty and annoying af for most parts of the show. And why did Cheng Ze suddenly take back the role of CEO? I thought he was fired? Idk feels like some items were not addressed so the logic doesn't flow smoothly

Started great but pace became slower for the later half of season 2. Too much flashbacks for season 2 and a few items not being addressed at the end of the drama (i.e plot holes). I think this is just average plot with average acting. Can pass this up for better dramas out there..
