Some moments Shan cai and DMS looks so cute and in love, other moments they look like good buddies. Acting for everyone can be improved and editing of the show is choppy for some parts..

Appreciate that they showed F4 and Shan Cai discussing about school, studying and going for lectures in this version. The 2001 version did not show much studying despite them being university students

According to an interview, Shen Yue mentioned Si's house is a built up temporary filming set just for the drama. It's not a real home. Hope that helps. But I still think they should have invested in some heaters for the filming set to make it more believable and less distracting or maybe DMS should have more hot packs lol

The only cameo now as of episode 14 is the previous shancai's mom. She's the owner of the chinese restaurant in london. And she even mentioned her son-in-law (i.e the previous dao ming si) lol

Her parents also did not enroll her into Ming De university to look for a rich guy/husband as shown in the 2001 version. Shan Cai worked hard and entered the university's nutrition major so that she can expand her family's food business. Another plus point.

Can be any date in July or August. No date released as of now. Official account just states that it will air in summer which is the month of June, July and Aug. June should be out.. Since it's already June..

ALSB is a web drama that is aired online. For MG 2018, it will be aired on public TV channel. So there's different regulations to follow. I think an earlier comment mentioned it is to standardise their diverse chinese accents to standard chinese.
