exactly right. And even she admitted to Duke that she didn't anticipate his reaction... she underestimated how much his psyche had broken down recently and never thought he'd "lash out" and grab onto her physically. Nor did she anticipate the Evil Princess having her brother captive!

XFF is dead... he has to officially marry JL to get her back or declare to the world her real identity which would land him + evil princess in hot water
the previews show ep 33 seems that Evil Princess has FL's brother and makes her help get SYR out of jail for her and also seems to be some kind of signed paper/thumb print happening. In ep34 Duke is mad AF and argues with the Emperor about FL. Evil Princess has a convo with Duke and he offers her something that looks pretty important... some kind of command token?? FL's Evil Ex Husband also basically black-mails FL saying that if she doesn't agree with taking him back?? he'll get Duke's family executed because he offered the token for her/a woman!! :(
the actor is fantastic... can literally see his psyche breaking down episode by episode! I'm guessing he's decided by ep 34 that since he's already at a point of no return, he's going to double down and try (at least TRY) to tie his "beloved wife" back to his side no matter what it takes UGHHH
also I really can't with our ML flicking that robe off the FL with his fan and picking it up with his fan so she wouldn't touch it like it was a viper had me CACKLING! 😅🤣😍
