I JUST realized this. So, they are the wife/concubines of his late father and still in the muck for power... yikes!! LOL I'm so glad to hear about the FL's character growth!!

ok ok I'm going to say it in advance and then come back to this comment after finishing BUT... I love the dual "what if" timelines but I'm going to be a bit disappointed if we dont get told WHICH path she ACTUALLY chooses by the end. (I have a feeling we won't) but REALLY hoping we do!!
