Title Tawan Arb Dao Spoiler
on episode 14 now and am kind of "over it" already :/ I'm going to watch to see the ending but the "romance" is…
usually if a show isn't woking another problem (for me) is the FL. But, here, the problem most definitely isn't the awesome FL. It's the ML. I don't feel his emotions at all. Not anger. Not revenge. Not love. Not passion. Nothing. I guess even if the plot were better, I still would be a bit disappointed because of this issue. An entirely revenge-driven plot needs a ML who is passionate about his revenge. Right?

Title Tawan Arb Dao Spoiler
on episode 14 now and am kind of "over it" already :/ I'm going to watch to see the ending but the "romance" is definitely a major back burner here in my opinion. The ML has more action with all the other women rather than the FL. Revenge and Mystery are the MAIN plot points here and even those are starting to wear thin to keep carrying the show further. Honestly, I don't see how they can continue for so many more episodes/hours of film time. Nothing plot-wise will be interesting enough to carry the show forward and not just on into "meh" territory.

Title Fatal Promise Spoiler
@StellarFlowerIt's been revealed that Hye-won had an abortion (unless she was off somewhere and had the baby).…
correct. + the time is off. That child was already a baby when the FL went to prison but Hye-Won very was newly pregnant at that time so the timeline doesn't make sense. The baby the FL was taking care of would have been closer to 2 years old by the time Hye Won gave birth. She definitely had an abortion. Also it is why she's so devastated. Because of that decision she now is under fire by her mother & in-laws for not being able to get pregnant with this asshat's baby. She said "she always thought she could just get pregnant again later".

Title Fatal Promise Spoiler
Gonna make a wild prediction but what are the chances that the kid in Eun Dong's house is actually Tae In and…
what the previous posters said is correct. That boy is the adopted brother of the FL. Her dad was a priest or studying to be? a priest previously and tended toward helping people/children and Eun-Chan is a baby he brought into his home who was abandoned.

95% of the time Tae In is like the most composed person in the drama. The rest 5% of the time he is literally whooping…
LOL. Right? though to be fair... Joon Hyuk is a twat and his personality can push people wayyy past their limits, right?

had to do a LOT of skipping from episodes 12-21 unfortunately. Really enjoyed it up until that point before it painfully drug out. Such a great plot, characters, and acting though.

On ep 6 and nearly spit cheerios all over my laptop at the "car window singing scene"! The FL & ML have an awesome chemistry together as well. SO funny.

kind of hard to watch as the ML is a real twat even up to ep 6. Six long hours of him being a real ass. I usually jerk leads but there has to be some warmth, some hesitation, but, this guy...

as someone who dropped Love Better Than Immortality, Love For Thousand Years, and i also never had intention to…
you sound like me. Love Better than Immortality was only ok. I also enjoyed OMEmperor season 1 but skipped through all of season 2 because I it got boring and repetitive. I'm really enjoying this one a lot though. Very well done. Hope it continues on at the same pace! :)

I agree. I'm loving the story so far. The ML and FL have great chemistry as well.
they definitely do. I think Zhao Lu Si is brilliant in this role!

I rarely enjoy "historical romcoms". I like my historicals more on the serious side, BUT this show is such a breath of fresh air so far. Story is unfolding at a nice clip and nothing at all is "skippable". All the characters are wonderful and well thought out. I'm super pleasantly surprised by this show so far. Particularly how the male-female role reversal in the fictional city here is brilliantly done. Not just for comedic effect but to show how ridiculous gender based societal expectations are. Most especially in regards to women. #LOVEit

OMG there's a "relationship chart" image. That should tell me something. I think I'm going to start a list for all the "so bad they may actually be good" dramas I PTW hehehehe

Title The World of the Married Spoiler
if it's not a bother can you write how the british version ended? :)and yes, i loved the finale.
no bother at all. The British version ended much the same. The father, in order to draw his son in, tried to commit suicide in front of him on a busy interstate/in traffic, for the mom to pull him back and offer to go have lunch to talk. The dad promises the son he's fine, but actually had pre-planned committing suicide by injections which his wife agreed to provide him up in his hotel room so his son wouldn't know. The wife leaves him to do it, but runs back after changing her mind to convince him NOT to inject himself and commit suicide. While they're doing that, the son has had enough and just... leaves. Leaves his phone, everything and runs away to be free of the emotional abuse his parents have wreaked upon his life. The ending, though is literally unsatisfactory in that it just ends that way. No hope for reconciliation. No letters from a runaway shelter. No wrap up of other character's stories. No son coming home years later. It just ENDS there with the son gone/missing and her saying she'll always be waiting for him to come home one day. Another important note is that we also learn the dad manipulated the son by telling him that when he was a baby (?) his mom didn't want him and wish she'd never had him and even abandoned him & that's why the son was even more messed up and went to stay with his dad. Of course, her husband didn't tell him she had been suffering from severe postpartum depression or whatever. Highly recommend to watch it just to see the differences between the two. It's on Netflix! ^_^

I've never watched a drama with so many repulsive characters! Watching this is a real adventure, funny I'm still…
speaking of repulsive characters. Nothing rivals "The World of the Married" for largest # of repulsive characters in a single show. >_<
