Title The World of the Married Spoiler
tbh I don't think most people would do that? Those bad boy troops usually make the boy at least a little more…
totally get it. :) And I feel bad for her too but some of what she's going through she brought on herself because of the way she reacted to her horrible situation. Sleeping with a guy and black mailing him to "get back" at her ex? Dropping the bomb the way she did at that dinner. Using her kid to manipulate her husband to hurt her (in front of her kid) so to keep her custody, etc. I GET her. I even get why she did all that for sure, BUT... it made a horrible situation even worse, especially for her child. :( Her kid really isn't treating her bad so much as lashing out because of the severe pain and emotional stress he's under. He's coping in his own way and in a much more normal way than the adults around him. ^_^

Title The World of the Married Spoiler
another thing about the son's character in comparison to the BBC version in the spoiler tag.
What many people are not GETTING is that on a SUBTLE level, this entire show is ALL about THE SON & how this twisted tale of cheating, revenge, and so on AFFECTS the people/family around them. So, when this child begins to finally REACT (don't get me wrong. Internally he'd already been reacting just not outwardly before) THAT'S WHAT THE WRITERS WANTED. For us to begin to see the deterioration emotionally, physically, and psychologically of the innocent characters and side characters who were inadvertently caught up in the selfishness/downward spiral of the core characters. Okay. I'm done. LOL

Title The World of the Married Spoiler
The hate on the kid is too much for me. I'm wondering how many of those saying stuff about the son actually have…
I mean are we all seeing how many adults are manipulating him? His dad. His dad's wife. Rumors at school (lady who wants her husband to be a politician) Not to mention what he saw happen to his mom, which... was his MOM's manipulation FFS. His mom's drinking to cope. His dad hiring someone to "scare" his mom out of town. People winding up dead. People insinuating mom or dad may be murderers. & we expect his kid to just smile & carry on? Give me a break.

& FWIW if that KID was a hot, high schooler gone bad boy because of his environment & shitty situation, we'd see the same people trampling the child swooning over his character instead. #oppa

The hate on the kid is too much for me. I'm wondering how many of those saying stuff about the son actually have kids (?) and understand what this kind of toxic, horrible environment can do to an ADULT'S mental health never mind a CHILD's? I mean... are you watching what this child is being put through? I f*cking applaud him for not going off the rails much MUCH worse on his horrendous "adult" role models. I had that exact same thought throughout BOTH versions of this show. That child is the strongest character in both shows. And if THIS ending mirrors the UK ending... well, it's going to be sad and realistic. :/

Title Hello Again!
I don’t like how they forced the most beautifully written lesbian character I’ve ever seen in an Asian drama…
THIS. I agree. That could have been written SO much better.

looking at your watch list, i assume you don’t watch hong kong dramas? when you feel like giving it a try, then…
I don't know that I've ever watched a Hong Kong drama, but if I can find sub titles, I'll give anything a try for sure! Thanks so much for the recommendations ^_^

I think this was the beginning of ep2. if I remember correctly he was kind of hinting that the ML was a womanizer…

Title The World of the Married Spoiler
can someone explain to me about that scene in ep 1 during the birthday party. why tae oh punch je hyuk?
I think this was the beginning of ep2. if I remember correctly he was kind of hinting that the ML was a womanizer and didn't deserve his "perfect" wife who treated him so well and basically paid for everything. He was halfway in love with the FL and venting on the ML that he treated her like trash and didn't appreciate her.

Review The Imperial Doctress Spoiler
Any tragedies in this drama?
I don't know how to answer this without spoiling anything. The ending is good, but may not be everyone's cup of tea. It's bittersweet and sort of has a HEA even though there is some tragedy as well.
