To be honest I'm a little lost with Consort Park and the left state councilor's plan at the end of ep 15... So Consort Park wanted to recover her lost status, which is now done because the left state councilor talked about it in front of the king/the court and in the end the kind admitted that he knew about her real identity. But I don't understand what the left state councilor had to gain from this alliance ? To keep the queen Dowager safe ? But then how could she (Consort Park) do that ? Talking with the king and persuade him to let it go and "forgive" the queen Dowager ? I think the left state councilor said this : "so that the fall will only be on me" (not the exact line of course) so then he wants to sacrifice himself to save his lover and hope that Consort Park will stay true to her words and achieve to keep the king under her control in the future ?

That's true and I admit I kinda forgot about this haha. What I wanted to add is the fact she seems shocked about the reveal of the king's plan in ep14 (of course his action is questionable and led to many deaths but he also did that to overthrow the queen Dowager and reconquer his power) while she doesn't seem to mind that the left state councilor still has power over the majority of the court and still can plan another bloodbath in the future... She certainly didn't expect the man she loves to be the individial responsible for her friend's death (so her shock and anger is understandable) but I hope she also doesn't forget that the left state councilor isn't innocent either...

I perfectly agree with what you said. I will add that maybe Consort Park will not choose a "side" in the end, because if we refer to the intro with the animations, it seems like she will choose a path where she's alone. I don't know if we can truly relay on that metaphor but I hope she will come to terms with the fact that no side is truly good, and even less the Left State Councilor's side !! Because like you said, it seems like she completely forgot about the real reason behind her family's assassination. I understand that sometimes enemies need to ally together to win against a more dangerous individual but here it's like she totally forgot about this part of her past... And at first I truly believed (hoped?) this drama would be about her revenge against him in the long run... But with her pregnancy announced I'm kinda scared that she will be forced to hide in the background...

I agree with you, especially with ep14 in which we barely see her... But I guess with her friend's death it's understandable and it kinda shows she's not infaillible.

Also because the announcement came at just the right moment to "oppose" the queen Dowager in ep12 (I think?) and well I found other things weird concerning her general behavior with her pregnancy. But maybe the director wanted things that way, because it surely is not easy to conceive and bear a child in this context... But I hope we'll get to see a little more about her pregnancy and how the child will grow in these conditions, sadly with only 2 episodes left I don't think there's enough time left...

I thought Consort Park already knew about the king's plan when she first saw the chess board (or at least had a very vague idea about his scheming) but now I see that this is not the case at all... It seems like we will witness the true final battle between her, the left state councilor and the king in the last 2 episodes and honestly I don't know what to feel about that.
And a question I had while watching ep14 : is she really pregnant ?? Maybe a stupid question but her reaction seemed a little off when the king was talking with her...

I didn't watch the Penthouse, but from what I gathered about this drama, I think he's kind of a villain there ?

One could still hope... Because I'm kinda disappointed with her character development. I think the writer(s?) made it too easy to make her go fully mad and kill everybody in the process only because one monk influenced her...

Also I didn't expect the Queen Dowager to go mad to that extent... I just don't understand why she thought it would be a great idea to kill everybody against her ? Especially if she doesn't even have the proof that the king is truly dead. I know she trusts the monk but here it seems a little too much. I thought she would be more rational and wise (?) than this.

I think nobody really knows why he commited suicide, he didn't left a letter to explain his choice. But we can guess: maybe because of his family or his acting career (I think he had a scandal too?) or for some other reason we don't know about... A mix of these things maybe

I also think they will become enemies once again, the left state councilor was so certain that the king was juste a pawn in his game and now that he's been proven wrong I feel like it will end badly for everyone, especially because the king dared to use the only person that could affect him... Yes I agree with you, what I wanted to say is that I think his plan with the monk could only work with Lady Park, if she hadn't come to the palace, the monk wouldn't have much purpose in the end... Because the king could only use him to break the alliance between the Left State Councilor and the queen Dowager: she was "abandoned" by the Left State Councilor because he wanted to follow Lady Park so that's why the Queen Dowager went on a solo mission to obtain power and could be influenced by the monk...
