Since when did Daisy start using "Dai" as part of her English (stage) name? Or was it something that international fans made up? It doesn't make much sense...

Damn... Chu Kehuan obviously has a load of issues as a result of his relationship with Gao Ziyuan, and thinks that jumping into a relationship with Weiwei will fix all the unhappiness and discontent in his life. Lbr, he doesn't need Weiwei, he needs therapy.

This is fiction. The majority of viewers know that what happens in fiction wouldn't fly in real life. Calm down and go rewatch Back to 1989. Make a few fake accounts and rate it 10 if it really matters so much to you that you need to leave a crappy judgemental comment here.

I think what people mean by that is that you need some degree of maturity to understand that cheating isn't always black and white and that there can be a lot of nuance and complexity to it rather than going cheating = bad = the characters are bad people = this drama is bad and morally wrong so I'm not watching it.

Yup. I've seen him in quite a few dramas, but I feel like I've only seen one character lol.

Professional =/= having studied translating. It just means that you do it as a paid job, not just as a random hobby.

I've been a subber before, and I've seen channel managers who were obviously not fluent in Mandarin OR English try to "correct" already correct translations using a dictionary and end up with a mistranslation. The translation guides for names/titles/places were also pretty atrocious when it came to fantasy dramas too.

But then again, managers aren't being paid either, are they. My beef isn't with them, it's with Viki not paying people who add the most value to their site.

That's because a lot of Viki fansubbers aren't fluent in English or Mandarin or even both. They end up relying on online dictionaries which is why "ye" got translated to "grandfather."

Viki should be paying professionals to do the subs if they've licensed the drama.

Ban Shu Legend, if you don't need subs. Female Prime Minister is also good.

More spoilers, but it turns out that DFS is a descendant of a disgraced prince, and wants the treasure inside Biluotian to reclaim the throne which he sees as rightfully his. The marriage was actually all just a front to gain possession of the Divine Maiden (which passes from mother to daughter), and the Divine Maiden must die for Biluotian to be opened. DFS was in on it, but wasn't aware that the Divine Maiden needed to die in order for that to happen, and ends up refusing to go ahead with opening Biluotian because he's fallen in love with HBQ.

Yeah!! There's the Liu Qingwu/Qingyan plotline, the Biluotian stuff, Chen Yu's loyalty, Bai Jianfei's fate, Dongfang Shi gets hurt and is saved by Hua Buqi in the woods, Yun Lang's fate, DFS stabbing Mo Ruofei, DFS's grandpa crashing his wedding with HBQ, CY and HBQ's ending...

2 more episodes left and... how are they going to wrap this up??

So, it turns out that Mo Ruofei IS a cross-dressing girl, not an actress playing a male character. The question has finally been settled.

Oh my god I saw... from what I managed to piece together, the Emperor sends CY to the front lines to die where he meets DFS, and DFS gives him the option of dying or joining him and CY chooses to join DFS and becomes his general. Then he says that as he's pledged loyalty to DFS, he won't fight with him over a girl.

I really hope they have a happy ending and HBQ/CY doesn't die.
