one thing i really liked about this show is how realistic everyone's personalities are, I have seen so many mothers force their daughters into unhealthy relationships because of "they know whats best for them", and even the fiancee of the fl seems very realistic (he is timid and although he loves her its not enough to protect her), Even the ml seems a bit morally grey because we can clearly see that he is extremely opportunistic....I just dont know why the ratings are this low i would have expected at least 8-8.5

I don't think so because that watch initially belonged to Seonjae ,that's why his past self has it
right and he also seemed really confused (if he did time travel he would have remembered his interaction with her right before he died)

im pretty sure that if hae-in actually died they wouldnt have included it in the preview...Im guessing the grandfather or someone else died

i think she either slept with someone else in order to pressurize him into marrying her sooner or she accidentally…
they aren't the main couple so it wont be mentioned and her infidelity is not that important to the main plot...she definitely cheated because there was a dinner scene where the dad pointed out the kid was "smart and good looking" unlike his father and grace immediately pointed out they had done the DNA test (da-hye and grace looked quite nervous aswell) and they wouldnt be this nervous if they both were biologically related

There are so many plot holes regarding the chaebols that its frustrating to watch...it makes sense that the father and son pair are dumb because they grew up with money but the grandpa being gullible is plain stupidity from the side of writers, he claims to have built his empire to what it is from nothing but he literally got fooled by a woman of questionable background....

The main leads are just multiple tropes all blended together and i think it would have been more interesting if they stuck to the dark humor and made the last few eps the ones where hyun woo repents....soo chul and da hye are my reason to watch this show for now because ml and fl are only there for visuals and repeated scenes, every time they are getting some development and communication in their relationship they bring up her illness again its honestly getting annoying now

There's just one thing I don't understand. When that child is not So Cheol's. So whose child is Da Hye carrying????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
i think she either slept with someone else in order to pressurize him into marrying her sooner or she accidentally got pregnant and decide to give her son a father figure....i suspected the child was his initially and that she was hiding it to hide the fact that she was in love with him but the possibility of that is low rn

I don't find any similarities at all. LLTG, the FL is playful and rebellious, here she is dependable and responsible.
in LLTG there was an arc where her family lost everything and during that time she became dependable and the grandma bullying her but secretly caring for her, the uncle with the young wife, idk im just getting the same vibe overall

1st episode and it feels like a remake of love like a galaxy...Someone who has watched more episodes plss advice if it remains the same throughout??

It's such a pity. I expected much multilayered characters. Literally every character turned into one dimensional.…
IKK It would have been so much more interesting if hyun woo and hae in just pretended to be on bad terms and secretly rallied the support of other family members and the moment the other ppl tried to take over they could have revealed that they never had an upper hand all along

I must ask, is this worth the watch? Ive seen great reviews of this on douban and mdl, but these dramas always…
There are certain characters that are solely there for the purpose of propaganda( especially when they make sure that all good characters are communist and all morally grey/villian characters are not communist) but as of now it hasn't affected the plot to the point that its destroying the main storyline

I'm in EP 13 is Lin QiaSong in love with SJZ or the singer?
In my opinion i think he only loves himself, he initially wanted to be with SJZ because he was at a really good post and he was "powerful" and he thought they were on the same social level, but afterwards when he kept getting humiliated he chose the singer because she always held him in high regard, if you remember in the beginning when he was powerful, he literally said that the singer could act as his wife but she would never be included in the family registry....Now that he lost everything he probably realizes her value (loneliness?)

thanks, glad i could help 💜.....i'm not sure if SML(Lin qiao song) even is a love interest for the fl because he has another gf/mistress and he tells her that she will never have the title of his wife or be added to the family tree but after his death she can be buried with him and call herself his wife. and even the fl only uses him for her own interests, he clearly has feelings for her because throughout he is always protecting her even though they catch her in suspicious places...He definitely is one of the villains but personally i think he's just trying to do his job (in fact he was right when he arrested him because we all know WR will be a communist in the future, but at the moment he was wrong since WR was innocent ) And he does get abused by his superiors when he fails to deliver results so ig that is why he is forced to do what he does~

Title War of Faith Spoiler
so far, there's none. the leads barely interacted.
to elaborate she is the younger sister of his boss and she is also an active member of the communist party, they meet a few times till now, namely when she pretends to be on a date with him in order to protect herself from being caught by authorities, During her older brother (shen tunan's) party where ml asks her to deliver a message, when he tries to complete his brother's last wish (but she never exposes her identity to him) and recently fl's brother and sister in law also thought that they would be a good match for one another (not taken seriously by either side though)..She also tried to protect him when he was being tortured (by trying to convince her brother, shen tunan, of his innocence, but that seemed more like a guilty conscience since she knew the truth) it doesn't seem like it was due to romantic feelings but more like camaraderie

If there is any hope for romantic relationship i think it will happen much later once he becomes an active member of the communist party and they get to know each other better and endure hardships together...

If you plan to watch for the romance i don't think you should start now, but the plot is pretty good and i think its thrilling enough to make you forget about the romance aspect since the fl doesnt have much screentime anyways...I will also post a detailed summary on their interactions till now and you can decide for yourself :)

Hi i just want to ask if shen tunan secretary has a lot of scenes trying to sabatoge the male lead and is lin…
In the beginning the secretary was jealous of the ml and tried to sabotage him but it was also because of ml's past and he was afraid that it would affect Shen tunan, but once shen tunan realizes this he starts to comfort the secretary by saying that his role is just as important and they all become one unit instead of conspiring against each other (So far)

as of now (ep 12) they have very minimal interactions, they do cross paths with one another but its usually to ask each other for favors and they don't actually have any conversations about anything other than work

hah is there a sign that she fell in love???? for real? i streamed it live and raw and i must have missed some…
yep she also kept worrying about what would happen to him once they took over the corporation and even when she called him dumb it seemed to me like she was fond of him rather than hating him

What if something might happen to Hyun Woo and he'll be the one to die 😭
That seems very unlikely though, although maybe he could have sacrificed his life for her( but idt her disease can be cured by a transplant so theres a rare possibility of him sacrificing his life for her in that sense) , but i think its more likely that they both die together rather than him dying alone

Disagree. Happy ending was more likely if this drama started with a happy relationship. The writers are using…
that seems likely but you never know sometimes the writers like to trick the viewers into thinking its a happy ending and towards the end it suddenly becomes tragic (idk if im overthinking but all the signs i mentioned seem like foreshadowing)
