oh i love inwoo as on dal so much more. i didnt like his character too much in the beginning and only shipped it bc they were the main couple but now i can actually see their chemistry. inwoo is so good and his dynamic with her is so relaxed and natural they look so so good together i wish he was there from the start.

yeah me too!! the way they played this out tho. i think the girls jeongje must have seen were not victims of jinmook but of the other killer but for now we can only wait for them to uncover this crime.

yeah also now that theyve said that jinmook didnt kill her i really wanna know how her murder played out bc why did this other killer chop her fingers then? jinmook possibly committed his first murder that night so unless it wasnt theres no way they'd know his modus operandi and it seems unlikely that jinmook would displace her fingers bc now we know that he doesnt do that at all (thats why i immediately believed he wasnt her killer bc there were only two cases where the fingers were displayed and one was dongsik's doing. jinmook didnt seem like the type to showcase his crime hes the type that going thru so much work to cover it up instead).

there's smth about jeongje's case thou that feels iffy that's why i havent been commenting on him. but i think…
the only way I'd believe he was the killer is if he was the one who accidentally delivered the fatal blow. like instead of just chancing upon a dyiny woman, it was a hit and run scenario after which the actual killer buried her body to cover up their tracks (its a third person we dont know of yet).
i think after that he must have gone back to check in the morning and found it missing then told his mother who told him it must have been a deer. he believed her bc he doesnt want to be a killer but then finds out about yuyeon which starts messing with his head and he starts to blur reality with his imagination (the police interrogation. obv he must have been frightened then he wouldn't even mention this and must have somehow convinced himself the deer was the truth). it got worse tho and his mother finally sent him for therapy where maybe bc of her meddling the doctors convinced him it was a deer not a woman.
still he was the one at the scene he would have known and that twinge of doubt and his guilt is why he keeps drawing the deer from his memories/dream in hopes that one day he'd draw the features of the woman he saw.
it must be why he ends up drawing others as deers now too bc hes linked human features with those of deers in his mind now.

there's smth about jeongje's case thou that feels iffy that's why i havent been commenting on him. but i think im the only one who thinks theres no way he's the killer.
like is it really possible to kill someone in a state where ur so intoxicated u cant differentiate human from deer but then clean up ur crime so its never discovered? theres also the possibility he called his mother but never once has she shown signs of being an accomplice to murder thru out the show
what i think happened here was that he somehow fell upon a wounded but still alive yuyeon and maybe he hurt her in someway that led him to believe he was responsible for what happened to her. it was someone else who killed her but i think he witnessed it in some form but didnt realize it thats why its been taunting him all those years (that he possibly took a life but cant remember).
the only way i'd believe he was the killer was if her body was found around that time but since it wasnt im going to shoot a bet and say that the likelihood of him being the killer is less than 10% or even lesser.

Over the top and over combined. To make it more interesting, they make every character at some point looking guilty…
i get why u feel this way tbh bc some parts would make me think so too but then the last two eps made me understand the writers intent in this so i didnt mind it anymore. this whole kind was more or less from juwon's pov and juwon seems like a poorly written character bc for around 6 eps we see him obsessing over smth for no real reason at all? but when dongsik pointed out his reason in ep6 it made me finally understand and sympathize with his character. he also seemed out of place bc everyone in town was like a family and he was an outsider that kept tossing around blame (and reasonably enough bc as a cop its their duty to treat everyone in a case as a potential suspect so u dont overlook anything in bias but he kind of also seemed stupid bc of how desperate he was).
oh also if u didnt understand why he didnt call the cops, it must be bc he was afraid that they wouldnt be able to indict him of murder with just the fingers you know? there was no other evidence and not a body and without a body it wont be considered murder. that's why he kept the phone instead, bc he intended to increase both the killer's and the police force's tension with those texts so if the killer wasnt pressurized by the texts alone he would be by the investigation and killers then to make mistakes when theyre under pressure (either checking on the body to make sure it isnt discovered or trying to move it).
i hope this explained things to you if the writing wasnt as clear (crime shows tend to be like that they're very vague with their intents bc this is a form of visual storytelling and they cant fill it up with monologues from each character. i watch a lot of them so im used to this). if u dont like it tho its understandable!! give it another go if ur still willing to i personally think u should but not everyone feels the same way about a piece of art so if u dont like it its valid!

YEAH yeah omg it was so obvious he was repulsed by the idea of pretending to be gay but then much later he said that monsters dont deserve love and if thats where his exaggerated response was coming from, if they clarified it in the beginning i wouldnt have cared but instead they just used this as a poor comedic shtick

RIGHT??! and vincenzo's exaggerated reaction in the beginning made me so uncomfortable what was the point of it? they could have at least specified that it was bc this dude is a bitch and not bc he had to pretend to be gay
but yeah im so tired of this thing in kdramas there has to be that one token gay thats awful representation and i hate that besided lgbt ppl others dont even thing theres anything wrong with it :((

saw a few ppl on twt say that the cop that's moochi's junior could have been the third psychopath. and i wasnt sure bc their theory was based of the fact the killer carried a black umbrella and so did he which is jndsfkvjks its a drama but even irl so many ppl carry black umbrellas and no one seemed to emphasize that the killer was holding a black umbrella that night.
but. i've been thinking about the scene in the car. in cinematography, most if not every scene tends to be vital to a show. aside from hongyi and moochi's part, they made a show of showing the junior's lack of empathy and also emphasized on the umbrella (this could be meaningless, take it with a grain of salt).
regardless of whether the umbrella is important or not (i really dont think it is he isnt That killer anyway fndjkfk) i still do think hes the third one.

1. in the first ep the researcher gave out 3 envelopes, which is what led most of the audience to believe there were 3 of them. unlike the other two who came to him themselves, the researcher - who was considered a pretty important man - went down himself to give the results to the last parent which makes it obvious that this must have been a powerful person.
then in the car scene, it was mentioned that the junior comes from an influential family, and so far no one important enough among the cast has a similar background.

2. whenever he's with moochi, the dude seems very immature and kinda silly. like he doesnt know how to get things done, like hes a regular stupid junior. but in that scene where he went to interrogate yohan's friend, he knew to check his call recorded, even dialled up yohan's number, which as a cop could possibly get him in trouble. and after all that, he only told moochi that 'yeah, you're right this guy seems off', without explaining why and how he find out. IF he is a psychopath, he must have done it to affirm it for himself, for his own curiosity, to see how much yohan was capable of.

if you've read so much thank you fdjsbfk these r just my thoughts on it so don't take it too seriously i could be completely off.

https://twitter.com/kimchigvrl94/status/1371407263768793093?s=21:) this...wow
some of it yeah. but im pretty sure yohan is the serial killer bc the picture that the old lady took? it wasnt a picture taken by cops. which anyway yohan couldnt possibly have bc hes a doctor not a police officer. the killer killed those ppl and then took their pictures and only the killer would have those pictures.
(that thing about him being anxious. i dont think he was i think he was pretending bc he knew about moochi.)
thou there's a possibility he's following these cases somehow, following the killer somehow. then again he'd know who the killer was (that theory is saying he must be investigating) otherwise how else would he have known where the next kill took place and where to go and take pictures before the cops?

Tbh idg why viewers keep suspecting BR when none of the clue given pointing towards him imho.I think even if his…
for me personally its bc of the writing. in crime dramas (i watch a lot of them) they tend to pull this plot twist a lot, but obv i wont take that srsly for now. so far the only reason i can believe them if they pull a plot twist is the fact that all of bareum nice guy act has always been shown to be when others are present. they emphasized that too in one scene where he was crying over a child (who ended up being important to the plot too) and the house keeper was in the room with him too.
aside from that im just curious. we know who his mother is now and his father was supposed to be dead + his mother didnt seem like she'd remarry she was very attached to her husband but he keeps implying his parents died together? oh that and the fact that he's supposed to have the psychopath/genius gene but. he doesnt seem very brilliant you know.

I guess, it's human instinct to not to suspect parents or a parent, that too this guy who has stammering problem…
his own daughter the person closest to him always suspected him so i think it was more of. dongsik's blind faith in his family ig. again yeah the way he was no one would have suspected this dude. its just cool to see a writer being so realistic with the writing and still making it suspenseful and appealing it was real good work.

thou i find it kind of hilarious that no one solved the case they just accidently happened upon it. like no one as much as suspected that dude for so many years even han juwon who suspected everyone in the town didn't suspect him.
i've read so much about how most instances of serial murders have been solved/discovered this way so its pretty realistic and it was interesting to see how they dealt with that on tv i've never seen another show do that.
a character like dongsik tho. someone driven crazy by grief and trauma. someone who still has so much love in him he throws away any regard for himself to protect those he loves. its the characters that make this show compelling and they do a very good job at fleshing them out.
