my guts telling me that Nubsib has a super duper crush on Gene since then, please I don't like incest and give…
i think they must be childhood friends/acquaintances and sib recognized him or knew him already but didn't say anything that's why gene seems upset. it also explains why sib was enamored from the start.

it's ridiculous and offensive to people who are studying medicine. people think this is like the nicholas cage…
yeah like i'd understand maybe if this was that fictional they could use plot points like that but they don't seem to be on the show so the audience reaching that conclusion themselves is so funny to me like the brain is such a vital organ u can't just transplant it like others fdnskl

wait is this bc bareum's behavior changed? lmao there was no transplant, we don't know that much of it scientifically bc no real brain transplant has ever been done only head transplants in experimentation that has either been unsuccessful or hardly lasted. but that aside, its so obvious that previous bareum was putting on an act. i've been saying this again and again, but all of bareum's 'good deeds' always had a witness. he's just showing his true colors now that he lost his memories and forgot why he used to put on the act.

Title Mouse Spoiler
why do so many ppl think bareum had a brain transplant dksnfksl im explaining why this is ridiculous as a med student bc:
one, brain transplants are impossible as of now.
two, it can't possibly be yohan's brain bc his cause of death was determined to be due to sepsis. they're not going to use a possibly infected organ on a patient that will have to be on immunosuppressants lol.
three, the immunosuppressants? if he had any sort of transplant he'd be on those but it wasn't mentioned anywhere.
four, even if yohan have died due to suffocation , again his brain wouldn't be used then bc its never mentioned he'd consented to organ donations when he was alive and anyway the brain dies pretty quickly due when its oxygen supply is cut off (suffocation??).
also they'd mention on the show if a transplant was done why would doctors hide it?? idek where ppl came up with that theory its so funny.

anyway i've been saying this but bareum really was just putting an act thru out. this memory loss of his is ultimately what's going to get him caught bc he's already acting out of character. yohan's attempt wasn't a complete loss at least. i feel so bad for the poor kid.

i was right about all everything on this except the fact that the yellow raincoat kid wasnt jaehoon. they always showed him separately so i assumed he was someone else but they were showing the same kid all along. ig it makes sense now why jaehoon's parents were treating him that way even before he started killing.

First of all, there is a lot, but really a lot, of Korean historical dramas with female main or center character…
actually the point of making Fictional stories is that they're Fictional and not real and so they can go any way, i think if demons and zombies can exist in joseon so can independent women with character depth and power lol. also there's actually not a lot that isnt based on their struggles as wives or them living undercover as a man till they find 'the one' and then their sidelined as a lover interest (historic settings r one of my favorites believe me i've watched enough i just dont think most of them even deserve to be mentioned in terms of how they treated women) and not as women in that kind of society.
again thou its a fictional piece its absurd to mention what's supposed to be realistic here lol they have a 'western demon' on this show and joseon royalty that both hated and stayed away from christainity and white ppl actively seeking their help.

also don't see how ppl are angry about chinese influences when this show's literally acting as if colonizers are…
oh fjkdskds still tho even if the demon is asian or white its a demon it'd die the same way
On Joseon Exorcist Mar 24, 2021
one thing historic dramas gotta start to do is to give women center roles instead of just making them wives and concubines lol. rookie historian and mr queen (ik bonghwan was a man but everyone assumed it was the queen and it was centered around other women too not just men it was well balanced) were the best historic dramas i've watched bc female centered plots and river where the moon rises is only fun to watch bc of the princess and the herb store owner so again. women.

shamanism doesnt originate in the west fnjkdsfk its a generalized term for religious practices related to spirits that indigenous and tribal ppl thru out the world practiced. but yeah like it'd be interesting seeing that more than the generalized christian exorcisms they're so over done in media now. the basis of exorcisms in any religious lies in their belief but colonization popularized christainity so u dont see any other form of it...

i think if they'd tried to show shamanism in a different light and used to exorcise demons instead. there's so much more they can elaborate on and so much more to explore it would have been fun and interesting instead of the usual christian exorcism (exorcisms arent unique to one religion in fact it's used in plenty others too).

its just the beginning thou, so maybe (hopefully) i'll be wrong about them bc they did show a scene with a shamanist ritual and it seemed to be working before it was interrupted and the priest. the priest seems a bit shady plus the thing the first priest said in the 1st ep (it nearly gave me an aneurysm) when he was praying that his ppl would come and "save" them while the king was murdering his own ppl was.
