WOW, just finished episode 5 and the FL is really trash. If you are reading this, avoid this show if you don't want to be pissed off.
I thought this show was going to be a lighthearted show about an introverted boss who is shy but kind and a FL who heals him, but nope it gets dark real quick and not in a good way.
This show's transitions are all over the place. The FL and SML do terrible things and it is just glossed over. Honestly, this show disgusted me. It is one thing if the show set the mood for something like this but I feel like they pulled a bait and switch on me.
yeah, yeah, yeah...I suppose the shocking plot twist is that he's been porking his own daughter who it turns out,…
Relax bud. It’s ok. I really don’t get how I triggered you. I just liked the movie 😂 it’s ok if you don’t like it. No need to all caps me and go off. I’m just a stranger on the internet. I respect your opinion based off the 25 minutes you saw 🤣
Btw I didn’t read all that 😂 I did see the last note about a therapist and i gotta say you are projecting quite a bit. You are coming off quite unstable.
yeah, yeah, yeah...I suppose the shocking plot twist is that he's been porking his own daughter who it turns out,…
Sure bud. You decided to pick up a random korean movie from 2003 and figured out the twist that gave no signs in the first 25 minutes.
Also, get out of your phone man. Is your attention span that bad you can't sit still through a movie. You could not sit through the movie, but you could read up on comments about the movie?
And your comment does not make any sense bud. What are you even talking about? I do not know how my comment triggered you that you went on a rant? What did I say in my initial comment that got you goin? relax bud. Like i said, this movie is not for everyone and my perspective on this film is bias. I made this clear.
yeah, yeah, yeah...I suppose the shocking plot twist is that he's been porking his own daughter who it turns out,…
No wonder you dropped it, the whole movie was spoiled for you. You went into the movie wanting to hate it. Which is fine! But i hope others reading this know this movie is amazing and should give it a shot. Is this movie for everyone? No. Seems like people are more sensitive and this movie is losing its value, but I will never forget watching this movie with my friends for the first time and how much we all enjoyed it.
After watching the first couple episodes, I did not know why the ratings were so low. It had so many elements in a show that make people love it and I loved the beginning so much. Literally rate the first few episodes 10/10 for how much I enjoyed it. The FL has this weird quirky personality and in comes a single father which throws her dream life haywire. The pair start to bond and develop a relationship and rely on each other. It was so fluffy and adorable.
Then it goes in a completely different direction and loses focus on family and focuses on some bogus love triangle. I guess it’s supposed to be a comedy with both leads trying to keep their familial relationship while separating a love relationship so she forces herself into a relationship with the SML. But I was hoping they continued with the fake family hijinks and turn into a real family.
The problem with the quadruple triangle is the side leads are always going to end up hurt and they don’t deserve that.
If you read the comments, everyone says the same thing 😂 that being said the show is still very good.
this was fun to watch until episode 6-7 and things got messy after that
I’m could not agree more. Episodes 1-5 were soooo good. And then it went a weird direction. Sad about that because the beginning really was so good for me. I loved everything about it and was smiling ear to ear and then it got messy 😂
Neglecting your wife and cheating on your husband then having baby with cheater and manipulating husband into…
Interesting that you like the actor, but dislike the character.
Did you not see episode 9? Did you not see everything the husband did for the wife and child? He sacrificed his own happiness for the wife and child. He forgave the wife. He forgave the guy who cheated with his wife and even tried to set them back up at the end so that they can be happy family. When the guy apologized to him for cheating with his wife, he said you don't have to be sorry because you saved my wife and my daughter saved me. His journey throughout the story was touching to me, while the wife has her pity party going on all the way until the end.
How can you not feel sympathy for that? Do you really feel he did not redeem himself? Unfortunately, we can see where this story is heading. With the husband doing all that, the wife will learn and go back to him. He obviously still misses his family and loves his wife and "daughter".
Neglecting your wife and cheating on your husband then having baby with cheater and manipulating husband into…
The story is written for you to have sympathy for both parties. If you do not care about the characters in the story; then why watch it? In every cheating story, there must be a reason to justify the cheating. In this case it was the neglect and abuse from the husband.
The husband was wrong for what he did. There is no question. But he is not a mind reader. At this point, in his head, he did not think he was doing anything wrong. He was the one at fault initially, but the wife chose the route of cheating. She met someone else that gave her all the feelings that she wanted and made her feel like a human again. As a human, she has a right to happiness and at this point, no one can blame the wife. But at some point after cheating she should have been truthful. It was evil for her to lie to the husband for so long and make him think the child was his.
There is a reason why the husband is willing to take care of the daughter. There is a reason why the husband is not furious at his wife for her actions. It is because he knows he is also at fault. The reason the husband gets my sympathy is because after all things come out to light, he is the one that changes for the better; while the wife remains selfish. Just like you said from your quote from the husband; he realized everything and took blame. After everything, he still wants his wife to be happy and all he cares about now is his daughter. He changed. He even tried to setup his wife and who he considered a daughter with the rightful father at the end...
How about the wife? Here we are at the end of the story and she is still having her own pity party.
this one is so much better than any telenovela I have watched. 😄 they are good at making you feel bad about…
Neglecting your wife and cheating on your husband then having baby with cheater and manipulating husband into thinking it is his are definitely equal 😂
It is a sad story, but the husband was pushed to the point of suicide. If the wife was feeling a certain way, she should have talked about it. She was selfish the entire time. The husband however is willing to raise a daughter that is not his….you know what that says about a person?
The main character is the cheating FL. Read the plot, everything is based on her. It is a story about cheating which many are going to be upset about.
I only saw a recap and episode 9 on dailymotion. It is funny as hell that the dude that cheats with the wife has the audacity to go up to the husband and say "I'm sorry, it was a mistake. You won. She chose you and OUR child". When cheating is involved, I prefer the person to just end up with who they cheated with. At least it made the cheating mean something. The husband should have found someone else as well. But that is too realistic and does not make for a good story I guess.
Instead we get a guy making the cheating his fault and he forgives the wife even though she did nothing to deserve forgiveness. At the end of episode 9, he sacrifices his happiness. He forgives the guy who cheated with his wife and gives him his success back and even sets him back-up with his wife in hopes that his wife and "daughter" can be happy family. With this action, I am positive that the ML and FL will reconcile as she sees that he still loves them.
Im surprised they put Park Shin Hye as a support character, when she is definitely a main character. The opening scene is her face lol. She has been acting and putting in work for so long!
I have to agree with everyone else that episodes 1-10 are amazing, and it really drops after that. The show runs pretty smoothly up to episode 10. The conflicts that arise resolve smoothly and the character progression is done well. After episode 10, it becomes repetition. They keep creating random problems for no reason; just for a lackluster sporadic conclusion. This would normally not be too bad because it is a TV show and that is what you have to do. But, the issue is just when you think the problem is resolved, it comes back. Just when you think everything is happy, they make it sad. The last 6 episodes were so random. The show also throws in a lot of red herrings for NO REASON. This show aint no thriller mystery, stay in your lane.
That being said, I still enjoyed the show and rate it 7.5-8/10.

Hmm who out of those 2 deserve sympathy?

Edit: after seeing the spoilers, now I know why the rating is so low. Happens every time they do that.

Jo Yoon Hee is so good and beautiful here. This could be a great drama show as well.
