i really don't like the lead actress acting... is it worth watching? is her acting or character likeable/good…
Character is not very likable tbh. But you wouldn’t have the plot if their relationship was just roses and sunshine. Story was ok though and worth a watch when you are bored.
I really loved the first two episodes, but then my excitement for the show dropped. I just circled back to finish…
Completely agree. These plots are always make you feel bad when the leads choose each other and leave the side interest hanging. In this case, it was more than just an interest, it was a best friend turned fiancé. But at the end of the day I think the friend was grateful for his relationship with the FL. He liked her and got his shot at dating her for what I assume is at least a few years. She gave the relationship a shot but didn’t feel love. The leads were fated lovers and the fiance had to accept it. Didn’t like this part of the story too. If I’m watching a show I’d rather not see a nice guy get screwed over. Which is why I’m not a big fan of triangle relationship plots but I get why it is always used. The triangle relationship after the breakup is more than half the story. Without it, there’s no story.
its like the ex-wife playing a "punishing your husband" prank but in a "mature" way and the husband just play…
The point is the characters are all flawed and wacko. No person would even come up with a plan like hers. I believe her entire goal was for the ML to kill himself. She says this explicitly. She did everything she could to push him over the edge, but it did not work out because the new wife healed him which ruined her plans.
The ML was a shell. He had a traumatic childhood and has nobody but his ex-wife who essentially saved him from the hell he was living. He genuinely loved her and was afraid of being alone, but deep down he knew it was over when she walked in front of that car. He said it himself "that was the first time I wanted to leave her".
The serendipity and connections between characters is something that happens in all dramas. I enjoyed it in this case because it brought up the question "what if we met each other earlier on; how different would our lives be". IIt also brings in the element that they were meant to be and destiny.
Timeline part was annoying because they made it so confusing, but they wanted to do that to keep the viewer engaged and thinking.
Her company is just awful. They knew about that stalker and they could not do anything about it? Her boss’ reaction…
And I completely agree. Supposedly they hire the best of the best as their security (ex-athletes, armed forces, marines, etc), but they can't stop one psycho? There excuse for not doing anything was they would have to tell the cops about their illegal organization to do anything, but in the end they had their guy kill him anyway and they didnt even use one of their super special agents...They used a guy who can fence...
That being said, these are small plot holes to me and I enjoyed the short drama.
Solid 8.5 or above. Great short drama. Does enough to keep you interested and watching. Show starts of mysterious so you are trying to figure out what’s going on for the beginning then you are hooked.
Romance portion was great. I loved the leads chemistry. I also enjoyed the thriller. It was the perfect amount for me with not too much suspense.
They hit the show running. Nicely paced, introduced the characters well and the 1st episode was amazing. The show is absolutely hilarious. There is almost no filler which I loved. No boring parts and grabbed my attention. Almost every other show, I end up skimming through, but this one I watched normally. I do not know why because the show is not a masterpiece by any means but I loved everything about it. 9.5/10 for me because of how enjoyable it was.
Plot is very similar to Oh! Youngsim when it comes to the dating show part.
My huge problem with this drama is that the characters have no progression the entire show. I guess there is a subtle change with the ML in that he is not as lazy/complacent and has goals after meeting the FL but he does not realize any of the goal and wallows in self pity til the last episode…
To me it seemed like a lot of the screen time went to certain plots that had no meaning to the show or significant impact. For example, a lot of screen time went to the ML’s roommate who is married. He has low self-esteem like the ML and quits before trying due to being scared of failure. This is fine but he pushes this onto his wife who is the opposite and wants to do her best and move up in life. He basically tells his wife she isn’t good enough and should stop trying because of his jealousy. A lot of time went into their relationship and the resolution was not satisfying to me. The entire show can be trimmed to a movie if you got rid of all the useless stuff. All these problems that build up throughout the show such as the ex-fiance of the FL showing up just to resolve spontaneously. Similar situation with the FL’s best friends divorce. The build up was so much just for a lackluster result.
All these problems and character flaws persist THE WHOLE SHOW. The ML is crying about not being good enough for the FL til the last episode. And all of a sudden in the last episode you get a “1 year timeskip” and bam happy ending for the last 20 minutes and everything is magically solved 😂
Not much romance in this drama. The description makes you think otherwise. It is more slice of life and focused on the ML who is below average in terms of everything: job, money, skills, etc. Almost all of the story is kind of pathetic because the lead basically has no money to do anything. The topic of money comes up a lot as a depressing and limiting factor. He has low self-esteem which dictates the entire show. He feels he is not good enough for the FL who is average herself in terms of job and family background. By episode 20 there is very little progress in the story and the leads relationship. There is almost no chemistry between the leads because there are hardly any scenes with them together being cute. All their scenes involve the ML being self-conscious and pathetic. The FL eventually falls for his one charm of being a nice person, but he thinks he is not good enough for her which continues til basically the end.
The story is about leads who are at the bottom of the social ladder working jobs as hotel doormen and stewardesses. Many of the characters are very flawed and have obvious personality issues which persist the whole show and do not improve until the happy ending. This is done purposefully. The show isn’t supposed to be about rich CEOs. It’s about poor service workers who lead hard lives. Which is sometimes depressing honestly.
Overall, I enjoyed the drama. I wish the ML grew more and wasn’t a wussy the whole time but he was a good person. A lot of the show is the ML interacting with the aunties in the apartment complex and dancing which is funny.
This is the one show on this site where I cannot understand the high rating. 8.6 makes it one of the best dramas on the site...This drama was terrible IMO. The actors were great, but the story itself really made no sense and was melodramatic garbage.
A nice succinct romance drama. Nothing really amazing, but nothing to complain about as well. Ending was very abrupt with a lot of things unresolved and left to the viewer's imagination.
There is somewhat some "cheating" going on though. The ML is technically in a relationship that is separating when starting a relationship with the FL and one of the tour people's relationship has the GF cheating by flirting with her coworker. Like she is texting the dude that explicitly told her he likes her, while on a vacation with her BF...And of course the BF never finds out about this because they would break-up. Technically, you can consider both cases not literal cheating, but say that to the significant others lmao.
She shouldn’t star in a romantic drama period. She’s much better in other genres as long as she doesn’t…
I loved her in Pinocchio and Doctor Slump. 2 of my favorite shows. I thought she had great chemistry were her male leads and the reviews for those shows agree.
Why is the ex-husband who cheated on the FL and literally states “I can’t be with one women” getting a huge amount of screen time. And why is all the screen time him with the FL’s best friend. Are we supposed to care about a dirtbag like him! And some friend, being with your friends ex-husband. Weird route. Had to drop.
Great series and definitely worth the watch. The SML is absolutely a psychopath, but this done intentionally. TBH, I would rather have a crazy SML that has no chance with the FL as compared to a friend hanging out with the FL in a triangle relationship. It is not as annoying to me. The triangle relationships in this show were not bad too me at all and I hate em.
I really enjoyed the show. One of the biggest factors in liking a show for me is the leads and the leads are great here. Their relationships from start to finish was good and they had a unique premise. A lot of serendipity which was nice to see and there was not a lot of melodrama in their relationship. A solid 8/10 for me. Would have been higher, but the ending was not that great. Just a lot of filler toward the end and I did not like how they built up certain things the whole show for a bland conclusion. This show was not as emotional as the other shows I rate highly, but the beginning was so good. The premise of two people just having a meal with each other without knowing each others names and the atmosphere they had in the beginning was really good.
I dont have to watch it to say yes. Of course. All these romance dramas have it without fail. The real question is does the FL reciprocate and are her feelings strong towards the ML.
Nice realistic romance drama. Definitely unique and different than your normal melodrama. Nice short drama you can enjoy. I was not interested much in the side characters stories though.
Absolutely hilarious drama. Honesty a great show. Nothing to complain about, just a solid funny drama with some serious undertones. Definitely worth the watch. It is a show that will make you feel good. All the characters are so well done and the chemistry they all have with each other is beautiful.
I rate it a 10/10 for how much I enjoyed it. It is no masterpiece, but for what it is, it hits the nail on the head.
Too many characters for my taste. I prefer dramas focused on the leads. Melodrama definitely needs to be added to the genre because it has all the things you would see in melodramas, like dumb love triangles. So many people are interested in the FL and chasing after her for my taste. This is my personal bias though, but I just couldn't enjoy the drama. I watched this because i enjoy "healing" dramas but this one did not pique my interest at all. It is def a slow burn drama which is normally not a problem, but it is when you are not interested in the show.
I think it is because there is no chemistry between the leads at first at all. They introduce too many characters in the beginning rather than building the relationship between the leads. The leads barely start interacting in episode 8...I skipped to episode 21 from here and it felt like I did not miss a thing. Leads still aren't in a relationship and they are still showing scenes with side characters chasing the FL. There was almost no progress in the leads relationship between those episodes and they still go through a lot of drama due to misunderstandings.
