Title Encounter Spoiler
can you spoil a bitlove triangle?any breakups?good kissing scenes?how’s the chemistry?
1. I don't know why they said no love triangle because there definitely is one which is a big part of the story. The FL is a divorcee from the start and her ex-husband is the 3rd wheel who chases after her the whole show. Although, the FL has no feelings for him from start to finish.
2. Yes break-up at the end and the reason was absolutely ridiculous.
3. I do not pay attention too much to kissing scenes but I would say yes; good kissing scenes.
4. Good chemistry.

That being said, the show is definitely a good watch and is worth a rating 8 and above for sure. Keep in mind this is a melodrama so there will usually always be an annoying love triangle and break-up at the end.

This is a great drama and I am glad I found it. I loved the reverse role with FL as CEO and ML as employee. I was not expecting the show to go that route from the description and after the somber vibe from episode 1. This show has everything: Great Romance, Comedy, and Great Moments. It is a melodrama though so there are some melodramatic moments you can dislike but overall it was a great show that is definitely worth the watch! 8.5/10

Every romance melodrama has to have a triangle relationship...Why do they always try and make it sad that the leads like each other. The leads will have a romantic moment then it cuts to the 3rd wheel looking at them sad. Like get over it; she does not like you...Dude literally stalks the FL. Literally stalks her multiple times and we are supposed to feel sad for him. They build this storyline up the entire show and it does not resolve at all. They just skip past it at the end with no resolution. I guess he just gives up but they do not really show a reason why he had a change of heart. And do not forget the break-up near the end just for them to get back together and the reason for their break-up was ridiculous. But i guess it makes sense. With 16 episodes you can't just have the leads be happy together the whole time, there has to be some drama.

I did not realize the ML was the same ML from King of Land until I clicked the actors filmography. I loved King of Land but he looks completely different here. Really loved this show as well.

Title Rain or Shine Spoiler
There is no end of misery to ML He was miserable in all aspects But i felt FL mood swings & his liver failure…
How did the liver failure drag on when they revealed it at the end of EP 15. There are only 16 episodes LOL. And literally everyone in the show had mood swings. That was the entire point of the show. One accident left everyone traumatized. It was not only the people at the accident that hurt, but the families as well. You missed the beauty in the show. It was a show about healing.

Really good drama and I highly recommend it. The undertone throughout the series was nice. I can't put my finger on it but it was a mix between somber and mysterious. They did it well. The characters are interesting and they pique your interest early. I always enjoy a show where they have solid lead characters with a strong relationship.

Definitely worth a watch. The ML is very pitiable but it is so enjoyable because despite all his struggles; he is a good person who helps everyone around him without expecting anything in return. One of the best healing stories. Deserves its good rating. All the characters around the ML are beautiful as well. They see his hurt, kind soul, and reciprocate. This is a show where even all the side characters are written well. Some may dislike it for being a little slow, but I think the show was perfect. 10/10 for me.

2nd FML(Cha-yu-jung) played by Kwon-Na-ra slept with ML (Noh-ji-wook) played by Ji-Chang-Wook's best friend Eun-hyeok…
That is every cheater’s excuse 😂 it may be valid for the cheater but if that is the case just break up…and if that was the case why was she trying to win him back the whole series 🤣 make it make sense.

Title 18 Again
The triangle relationship was annoying to me and I literally skipped all the scenes with the baseball dude. There were literally like 3 triangle relationships in the show...but the only one that was annoying was the one with the ML's wife because obviously they are going to get back together in the end so seeing her with another dude is just too melodramatic for me.

The scenes with the ML and the kids were great though.

Is umbrella sharing scene mandatory is every single kdrama?
hahahaha, I do not think there is one romance drama that does not have it

I did not like the drama tbh. The relationships between the leads didn't really feel great; maybe it was the chemistry. The side characters did not draw my interest either. The story was not too amazing and I am a sucker for these life is ruined --> flee to village premises. Nothing really to complain about specifically, just a poor story that fails to be interesting.

So basically the story centers around a narcistic female lead with a terrible personality and a pathetic ML who can't move on past his first love even though she did. There is not 1 redeeming quality that the FL has but all these guys are obsessed with her? I'm sorry but there is nothing romantic about a guy who can't get over his ex for 8 years even though she moved on. They make the ML this nice guy who helps everyone and is a genius weather forecaster, but ultimately he is just a pathetic guy that was hung up on his ex for 8 years which the entire town knows about. The story is very focused/centered on the FL and the ML is basically a side character.

Do not get me started on the ridiculous love triangle that makes the ML even more pathetic. I wish they made these love triangles more organic than forced. Like they always show these sad scenes of the 3rd wheel being sad that the leads are together. Cmon now. Do the writers think it's romantic that 2 guys stay single and hold onto love for their childhood friend for decades into their mid 30's? At least the ML and FL have history, but the 3rd wheel has always just had a platonic relationship with the FL. One pathetic character pining over the FL was not enough they had to add another side character that was even worse. The amount of screen time the SML got one-sideingly chasing after the FL was ridiculous. Like he sees them kiss and hug and everybody in the village knows they like each other and in his crazy head still thinks he has a chance? No matter how much sad background music you play, it will not be sad...it is just pathetic and weird. By episode 5, I could tell where this story was going and had to skim through the rest and the story goes exactly how you would expect.

I really enjoyed the first few episodes but man does the show go downhill. The actors are great though, their characters and the plot are just poorly done. It would have been a much better story if the leads rekindled their romance much sooner instead of at EP 10/11 and did something like Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha, but nope they go the annoying route and make it so all the characters adjust to the FL lead's personality instead of her becoming a better person. There are some nice moments of the show, but most of it is just bad writing.

We have the ML who is one of the hottest guy to ever walk on earth and he's hung up on his ex and refuses to move…
I could not agree more. Essential the story centers around a FL with a terrible personality that for some reason guys like and a pathetic ML who can't move on from his first love even though she did. It makes no sense, except for the fact that it caters to a specific audience.

The FL literally has no redeeming qualities while the ML is essentially a saint, but can't move on from his first love for about a decade. The FL said she had 4 boyfriends in 8 years, while the ML was stuck on his ex? A ML staying in love with his ex and sulking for a decade is not romantic. It is pathetic.

I did not like how they wasted half of the last episode to introduce a new relationship randomly with a new character that we do not care about at all. Waste of an epilogue.

This is so boring, it acc felt like a challenge to get through the first episode😭
A lot of the show is cheesy, but I eat that kind of stuff up. You have a ML that is essentially perfect as a character with no flaws and a humble background. Smart, good at fighting, cooking, pretty much everything. You have a rich FL that is overbearing. The story itself is unique though in that the couple starts off married. I enjoyed the show because it can be really emotional but also there are so many feel good and funny moments. The show really gets better towards the end.

If you think it was boring, I would probably just drop it or I recommend you skim through it. It is important to go into a show with a good mindset/mood or else you are not going to enjoy it. And if you do not enjoy it, there is no point in watching it.

Very unique romance drama. It is filmed as a reality TV show and goes back and forth between the past and the present and multiple character's perspectives. There is no other show like it tbh.

The character's are interesting and the show was enjoyable. There are flaws in the characters that may annoy you but that is the point of the show. The character's are explained well and you can understand why they feel the way they feel and do what they do. It really highlighted how important closure is when ending relationships. Honestly, it is a very realistic drama in terms of how the characters handle their emotions. The premise of the leads separation was a dumb reason though and it makes the FL seem kind of heartless. The entire show is because of that dumb reason which could have been easily resolved with 1 conversation...but that's melodrama for you.

That being said, I really enjoyed this drama. A lot of serendipity going on though.

Funny as hell. Did not expect them to even break the 4th wall LMAO. This movie does all the normal rom com stuff but then adds a twist that makes it hilarious.

I say it again if you get stuck watching this drama, its impossible to get back to it again...lol. I haven't felt…
EP 11 is where it gets good. All of the emotional scenes are towards the end. But if you got stuck, it may not be your cup of tea. You may not also be in the mood to watch this kind of show and can revisit when you are in a different mood.

The last couple episodes were my favorite of the show. All the characters grow and the family scenes to me were so enjoyable. Also the show culminates well towards the end and I enjoyed the ending. But if you have it in your head that the show is overrated, you won't enjoy it. There are some cheesy things that happen and some things that you can nitpick on so if you think it's overrated you may be better off just skimming the rest of the show.
On Queen of Tears Nov 13, 2024
Man came back to leave a comment after my 2nd re-watch. This show is a masterpiece for it's genre. The actors are top tier from the main leads to the side characters. The leads crying scenes are so emotional. Even on the 2nd watch, I felt all the same emotions as my 1st watch. The SML is so good and plays the psychopath role so well (makes sense because he has done the similar role in like 4 other dramas). Even the leads family is done so well. The FL's brother's story line was also great.

This show has everything you want in a show and makes you feel all the emotions from laughter to tears to feel good happiness. It has some of the overused plot lines that some may not enjoy, but they do it so well. The only thing I hate is that when I am done watching, I want more.

It was good until his sleezy friend decided to go after his wife. Like these romance dramas need to have a triangle relationship so bad that they make the worst plot lines to make it happen. He asks his friend to get the FL a job because he does not want her working at the supermarket and then his so called friend decides to go after his wife? Make it make sense. This plot lasts for like 5-7 episodes. I get they use this to further the leads relationship from a fake to real one and that the FL does not have any feelings for the other guy, but the entire situation is weird to me. At least when they introduced the 2nd love interest for the ML, they were former classmates and had history. For a guy to choose a girl he just met over a good friend is not a good story; especially considering that girl is married to said friend.

Overall very generic marriage contract drama. Still an ok watch, but definitely nothing amazing or special and there are parts that will annoy you. I liked the FL though. Her character itself was ok. She is your classic ditzy, trust everyone, nice FL.
