Same for me, also now that i'v seen 62 eps i think 'noooooo only 11 eps left! i need more...'
I have begun reading the novel but even that will run out soon because it is over 200 chapters and i think 30 are translated--but the translator is very consistent in releasing chapters every 3 weeks or so
the recommendations for this drama are all over the place. can you tell me is the tone light all the way through (bc then I would understand the Love 020 rec), does it start light and become serious like Ashes of Love, is it inconsistent in tone? tone is important to me; I don't like it when dramas want to be everything, i prefer, if they are light, if they become serious not 100% fluff and not inconsistent reactions i.e. 'my mom died and two episodes later i bounced back and am extremely happy'
when does Gu Ting Ye get back to his poor wife? I'm on ep. 62
I just finished 62 and was thinking the same thing i don't know i have this fear that she will miscarry :/ i also thought that it might be the stepmother who gave madame kang to make such a life altering choice....after seeing the reaction of the father it is clear that these people are so confident that their families will protect them that they act without fear and Ming Lan just throws them for a loop :D
if you haven't already seen it, Boss & Me may be more up your alley it ups the intensity a notch (remember the…
In all honesty I think Boss & Me is a better show because it is more complex and the female lead undergoes enormous character growth. I don't typically watch moderns and my best friend encouraged me to watch Boss & Me (grateful she did) and this one as well--I don't regret watching this one but it isn't the kind of show that has me glued to the scene (i.e. I am on the internet, glancing up to see what happened, but not fully engaged) it's just a little too much fluff for me
i DRUDGED through over 30 episodes before it really picked up and by episode 40 it TAKES OFF I nearly dropped…
you make valid points; one of the things that I like about the C-Dramas is the enormous amount of character growth and since I lean heavily towards historical and fantasy they are just epic, leaving breathless.....and wondering how you can find another show that can produce that same feeling again so in away its kind of like a drug
it sounds like he is the kind of lead who feels empty inside, falls for the FL and believes she can fill the void, but she can't because the issues run much deeper than that and he needs to address whatever is eating at him, yes? instead he numbs whatever pain he is feeling and hurts everyone around him?
This is really cute and sweet and I really enjoyed how there was no major conflicts between the leads. The trust…
if you haven't already seen it, Boss & Me may be more up your alley it ups the intensity a notch (remember the bar for intensity is low) and they have skinship
Attempted watching this for the 4th time because of all the hype. Damn !! This drama is soooo slow. The FL is…
it probably just isn't your type of show it's fluffy and more focused on showing what a normal but ideal (as in the leads work through problems and put each other first always) relationship can be like from end to beginning; if you are looking for melodrama, or something with a higher intensity this may not be your cup of tea everyone likes what they like so I don't think you missed out on anything keep searching for the one that suits you best :)
I really like Winter Woods :( If ever they adapted it, I hope it'll be done greatly (charact development, acting,…
I STRONGLY support Winter Woods but I think it would need a really, really good writer to transition it I was severely disappointed by Cheese in the Trap because I thought it strongly downplayed the very dark undertones in the comic, especially surrounding the ML who I thought, from the tone of the story, was someone who was extremely intelligent, manipulative, and at times scary but at some point begins to change because he falls in love with the FL and seemed worried she might learn the truth of everything that he has done (and what exactly has he done? the author is deliberately vague but it inspires fear in others) because the FL went through the cycle of being terrified of him, to second guessing herself, to liking him, but what if all of her initial intuition is proved true?? (End of rant...)
Everyone's saying this drama is awesome but the trailer didn't really grab my attention, and I usually get bored…
i DRUDGED through over 30 episodes before it really picked up and by episode 40 it TAKES OFF I nearly dropped it a dozen times. I gave it an 8.0 because I thought it was unnecessary to make a viewer deal with the drudgery (in my opinion, plenty of people like the whole show beginning to end)
I really enjoyed it for the first 30 episodes but the plot became really messy and seemed like it was not well…
This could boil down to preference; I tend to lean towards shows with dark subplots or melodramas or shows where the leads have to go through a lot of difficulties to be together; the first 30 episodes were more straight forward with some but not many barriers between them and it was lighter. You may like 'I will never let you' because it is drama but the delivery, for the most part, is lighter
Oh no, looked like a kid? *facepalm* that would be very hard to read.
to ME it felt a little lolita but I also know that this might not be weird in Asia since it comes up a lot in manga and web novels. It didn't feel creepy, and there are chapters that point out that she will become this amazing ADULT woman I think her age is used as a plot device because it ensures that the ML's feelings are innocent but that changes when she changes (physically)//there are a few western novels like that where the ML can keep a FL close when she is young because no one will question his feeling, she grows up and then BAM his feelings are no longer innocent and he is like 'I gotta go everyone is going to think the wrong thing'
