I love this series - the characters and their interaction are emotionally complex and authentic, and the writing is good with great dialog. And the acting is top notch as well, especially Shin Ye Chan, who plays his rakish character with a subtle undercurrent of pain

This seems modeled a bit on Addicted Heroin, but we'll see. In any case, it's my favorite thing on at the moment. Da Yeol's "flight reflex" when Tae Hyun caught him touching his face was really funny.

Tae Hyun doesn't hang onto or make a big deal out of small things - Da Yeol does. I think that's why people reacted so negatively to Tae Hyun - Da Yeol is the protagonist, and empathy with him magnifies how bad Tae Hyun seems to the viewer - but if you really think about it, he really hasn't done anything all that serious, and certainly nothing out of malice.

I'm guessing he thought Da Yeol would go insane trapped in there with Tae Hyun. I think he sees Tae Hyun likes Da Yeol, which you could see if you were blind and deaf, but he hasn't picked up that Da Yeol also likes Tae Hyun - that's why he made this mistake.

I'm not seeing how Tae Hyun is pretending he's not interested - he's been quite straightforward that he's interested, it's just that Da Yeol is unbelievably dense.

I feel like it's modeled a bit on Addicted Heroin. I don't think they knew each other before and I think Tae Hyun picks on Da Yeol because he likes him. He more or less said it when he told Da Yeol when he finds something cute he wants to hit it with a toy hammer. He hasn't really hidden that he likes Da Yeol - it's just DY is too dense to see it.

I wonder if he meant 'aunt' as in his actual aunt or the generic for an older female. I suspect it's the latter.

He's not serious though, and I'm fairly sure he would have told the truth if anyone was treating what happened as a sexual assault - nobody was, they just viewed it as unruly and disprespectful. What that says about Korean school culture is a different matter, though (!)

I don't know why everyone is so mad at Tae Hyun - his teasing is mild and he's made sure Da Yeol didn't get in trouble. Da Yeol is the one who plunged through the curtain while spying on Tae Hyun fooling around with his friend, and he overreacts to everything so he's almost asking for it.

Tae Hyun said several times that he thinks Da Yeol is cute and is clearly interested in him. He even said out loud that he accomplished the goal of getting his phone number. On the other hand, Da Yeol immediately found Tae Hyun attractive too.

I think he's cute and charming. Da Yeol overreacts to everything - he brings it upon himself, Plus, he plunged through the curtain in the infirmary and cut into Tae Hyun's fooling around with his friend. But Tae Hyun's friend is a problem - with him there's malice.

That's a lot of pressure! It's not for everyone - and I almost dropped it myself after the first couple of episodes, but it came back for me and ended strongly.

I agree with you. The mystery has to be interesting enough for you to care what the the answer is.

For OMSN I was hoping for more of the secondary couple, so I trudged through it. Also, it hd a bit of "so bad it's good" quality, like dumping a guy with a bleeding brain in the middle of nowhere so he could engage in equestrian sports. This is just bad, but on the other hand Lee Long Shi's body is insane, so there's that. I'll probably not drop this, but I'll ff through most of it on the way to his shirtless scenes. Sue me, I'm shallow.

How is this so awful? Rossi is one of the best actors in BL, but you've never know it from this - and while Frank has never been an acting powerhouse, he's always at least been charming. And Lee Long Shi usually makes... my pants not fit, and he's not really all that hot in this.

It would actually be better if it were worse - this is just boring and tiresome. There's literally nothing good about it. What a disappointment - I was really excited about this cast.

There are only 12 episodes, whereas Oh My Sunshine Night had 16. so this is only 75% as bad.

She's the trans actress who was the goddess in The Shipper. She's usually an OTT comic character, but in 3 Will Be Free she was a tragic character twisted by grief to do terrible things - but not OTT or emotional - sort of dead inside.

Sometimes comic actors are the best at drama. Did you see 3 Will B Free? Jenny Panhan was terrifying.
