I think that's it - he's upset in Ep 1 and so he comes off as one-note. Already things got better in Ep 2, and hopefully he'll be getting back to his sexy self.

That's how I feel. I like Triage, Kim/Chay in KinnPorsche, and Old Fashion Cupcake right now.

It didn't feel short to me, but it felt hectic - there was a lot going on. But the acting in this was so good all around that it doesn't feel like a BL. I wish all series would cast experinced (and talented) actors in all the roles this this series.

I do it all the time. People yell at me. :)

I think it would have turned out better if that were the case. I think they had an AI watch all the BLs ever made and it threw in all the most overused cliches into a script.

That's what happens when you hire people who can act for all the roles. Even the big gay nurse was in top form today.

This is so good - what a pleasant surprise. I couldn't believe the conversation they had over dinner - it's amazing how they can make such dirty talk sound wholesome and innocent. That text - "How about if I come over on Sunday and see your jiang-jiang made me spit up my coffee. "I'm sure he's asleep". Actually, I'm pretty sure he was busy with his jiang-jiang.

And that scene from next week... that was hot. Togawa treats Nozue like a superior with respect, but I love the reversal coming up.

It seems unlikely this scenario will come up often. But these two didn't even try to resist - and while temptations happen, it shouldn't that early in a relationship - I don't think Tupe can really be in love with Richard.

I watched it on a really big screen, so it probably seemed different to me. I though I read some complex feelings, but maybe I was just projecting.

Well, whatever they did, it didn't work for me and I'm not continuing. It just lacks any authenticity for me - he runs off with no explanation and refuses to talk about it is not adult and not a good person, so I find I don't care if they get together - I kind hope they don't. Once someone has violated your trust that badly, you can't come back from it.

"Light and fun" was too strong, but it was quirky and comedic and there was no hint of the problems that are appearing here.

I've stopped caring. Yes, it's true, not every couple has a happy ending, but this one did. And one of the defining characteristics of BL is the happy ending.

To be fair to Tupe, I mean, come on. Like you wouldn't?
