I actually have BL Trope Bingo cards. I haven't put "vomit-no brushing-kiss" on one yet. Nor "no password on phone". Those are two good ones. I have piggy-back ride, hair-drying, fear of ghosts, ghosts, dubious consent, very dubious consent, engineers, alarm-goes-off-and-person-who-set-it-surprised-at-how-late-it-is, and many others, but those two are going on the next one.
This is possibly the most boring and pointless BL I've seen - zero originality, and we followed a tedious story, then had it tediously repeated for the slightly different perspective of the other character. Everything is so dull, formulaic and predictable. Is there a single person watching this that didn't expect the love alarm to go off. and at just the moment it did?
What if instead of the soul-crushingly predictable outcome, Kaneda lost it and tackled Yanese and had his way with him? That would have been funny and not something that anyone could see coming even if they were asleep. And died in their sleep. And had already been cremated.
There's zero chemistry, the characters are creepy and unappealing, and the story doesn't respect the audience's intelligence. What's not to like?

I honestly don't understand how it's possible to interpret this any other way but that Yanase likes Kaneda - he said so and kissed him, and his whole internal monlogue is about how he likes Kaneda, and vice versa. But to be fair, this is so stupid and badly written than on an intellectual level I can understand not understanding because adults don't act like this. Actually, scratch "adults". People don't act like this.
Well, that series is ruined for me. Is there a law somewhere that requires an evil female to cause an implausible miscommunication that could be resolved by a 30-second conversation, or not need resolving at all because a small child of below-average intelligence would easily be able to tell that call was sketchy?

In Y Destiny, Ton played Choke (already kind of hot with just the name), who made Sat jack him off. That seen was so much hotte than anything in here - partly because it was a big surprise, and second because it was so sensual. They showed nothing and didn't even kiss, but you could feel the desire.
Yoon's outfit in his first appearance was so ridiculous I actually did lol.

1. Turn off the fu$%ing water you horrible person. And it doesn't count if you don't use soap. 2. The "Satan Just Showed Up" music whenever Yoon walks in or starts up his laughably cartoonish and stereotpyical BDSM routine. With restraints so loose that it would be difficult to even keep them on. 3. Kim being alone for more than 5 seconds in a gay bar. Impossible. 20 white middle-aged sex tourists would have been all over him before he even sat down. BTW, besides how beautiful he is, I love his body, and the hairy legs make it extra. 4. Yoon was sexy AF in YYY. But 0/10 here. The first couple of times he whipped Kim his expression was "am I doing this right?" and then after that it was "I'm a cartoon villain now." No chemistry. 5. BL writers need to go experience BDSM if they're going to include it so it isn't ridiculous like this. I think this writer watched a couple of bad porn clips for research. 6. Ton was the absolutely highlight of Y Destiny for me, and he's the best thing in this. By far But his character is one-note. It looks like he'll be crying all the way through the series. Remember how hot he was in that one bed scene in Y Destiny? Well, in this bed scene he looks like he'd had bad sushi. 7. As far as comparisons to KinnPorsche go, you absolutely can compare them. But the budget doesn't matter. Some of the best things I've ever seen were very low-budget - in fact, The Godfather itself was low-budget. But KinnPorsche has Kim/Chay to balance out all the stupid. This has nothing to balance out the stupid.
Unfortunately, it was also a bit boring at times. This is the type of series you need to watch while stoned with friends to enjoy. I'll probably watch it anyway because, well, Ton.
