I was actually defending you - I think it's fine to comment on who we find attractive. I don't think it would be cool to say "X is ugly", but "I don't find him attractive" is fine.
Pop looks Western, and everyone seems to go for that - Bright (Sarawat) always wins "hottest actor", which I don't get. To me he's an average-lookng European - but I like Asian guys, so Win (Tine) does a lot more for me. Ram isn't bad looking, but they don't style him well on this show. Plus, he's always standing next to adorable Lukchup or hottie Titan, so the comparison probably hurts him.
Of course I would only date someone I find attractive, but sometimes when you connect with someone, you find them attractive, whereas someone more-or-less objectively beautiful might not work for you. I once dated a guy that was so attractive it hurt to look at him, but he had the personality of a wet cardboard box, so after two weeks it didn't matter what he looked like, I was done.
I love Thankun’s character, he brings a fun vibe to the series!
I'll admit that scene was brilliant - the way everything about it built up the tension to the point where you wondered if violence or gunplay would result, then *smack!*.
I love Thankun’s character, he brings a fun vibe to the series!
That's a good point, plus he was "there" enough to wonder why Kim isn't dead yet then pass it off as talking about the fish. I'm hoping that underneath all that he's more formidable than anyone thinks.

I like the idea of Thankun, but I want him to be a person. One of the best moments of the series was when he hit Vegas with the tray at the height of the tension at the table - hilarious and with human motivation - he doesn't like Vegas and he was pissed his brother and friends were eating with him. Other times, though, he's just a caricature, and it takes me out of the story.
Yo Daddy Chan with the head shot. This dude also makes me horny!
I still want Pete to be my boyfriend, but I'd like Chan to #$%% the @#$% and #$^%&*# me while he @#$%3 me @#$% his @#$ $&^ @#$%. He can choke me. I'd be fine with that.
Twitter is a cesspool populated by sanctimonious twits who have nothing better to do than pass judgment on people for daring to not be perfect. OK, so Kinn's an asshole. That doesn't make him a bad person. I doubt Vegas is an angel, either.
I know there's an enormous amount of eye candy on this show, but I want Pete to be my boyfriend.
I really didn't like this show for the first three eps - it was too silly and tonally schizophrenic, but eps 4 & 5 have won me over.
I wish Thankun wasn't such a clown - he could be one of the great characters if there were something more to him.
Is it just me, or is Jeff Satur the most underrated actor in BL? How does he radiate that much menace and danger out of that small body? He's the only character that has the gravitas to match Korn.
Luckily "La Cuisine" hasn't been infected with the slow pace pandemic that's been going around lately. At least…
I agree - and I'm fine with slow-burn plots, I just can't stand no-burn conversations. I'm always thinking "JUST SAY IT AND GO AWAY." La Cuisine has dialog that flows naturally, which I appreciate.
@jpny01 You always have interesting and different perspectives, bro. With what we have seen in the recent Japanese…
That's what I mean - he's just beautiful. It's cute that Fukuhara clearly doesn't think of himself as gay or even bi, but he's always thinking "oh my GOD he's so handsome." His voice is sexy, too. And he looked really good when he was getting dressed for the aborted date (by which I mean I was perving over his hot body, if that wasn't clear.)
this series is so wonderful and underrated i'm happy i randomly discovered it, the acting is great, i actually…
Ram doesn't care what people say about him, but he certainly cares about what people say about Lukchup. I don't know what you man about Ram not doing anything - he's more or less assembled an army of experts to take Nanming down. He's just smart to not feed the fire or alert Nanming until he's ready to destroy her.
I think it's fine to comment on looks - there's no need for criticism (unless it's makeup or costume), but I don't see why people shouldn't mention who they find attractive.
My apologies for being so harsh Ram (Pop) does not look attractive at all. Paitong and Pangchie are my favourite…
He's OK for me. For looks, I like Peem & Titan. The guy who plays Kitty is really attractive in real life - check is social media. Almost all the guys on this show are attractive.
That was satisfying and unsatisfying - it definitely felt like the end of a season rather than the end of a series. After all Dao's matchmaking, there has to be complications - not to mention the impact on the office. I think all their friends will support them, Rit will just be happy he doesn't have his brother as a rival for Dao, and I think in the end Dao will support her brother, but there may be a bit of a winding path to acceptance as she's likely to get stuck between Diao and their parents. It's actually better when they don't kiss - the only one that was really good was in Diao's dream, but it really wouldn't be in character for Diao to let himself go.

My favorite is still Lukchup - painfully cute.
I like Peem. Their IT guy wasn't bad, either.
