I didn't care for the latest episode. The problem that's developed is that the series is resting entirely on external threats posed by rivals of the couples which are both very unpleasant people. I would like to see development of the relationships, not fights over people. Poon and Ahtip are very different and headstrong people, so there's plenty to explore in their relationship without introducing an evil wench or food poisoning. The pattern of their interaction is shallow and repetitive and is starting to get boring, although I can't get bored of looking at Peter.
I like Wit a lot, but it's hard to have any respect for him when he's pining for a truly horrible person. And frankly, I don't really see the appeal of Teng & Mayom - I didn't really get drawn into them in Gen Y, and I feel even less here. All of Mayom's lines are so cheesy, and he's going after someone who is taken, and even if not, Teng is not going to just get over his ex and be ready for something new on the turn of a dime, so he comes off as both selfish and immature, and I can't deal with his hair.
There are some nice qualities to this series, but it doesn't seem inclined to take advantage of them and seems to want to just spin its wheels.
Wow, they/ve actually nearly caught up with the subtitles.
You know, there is actually some degree of depth to this, as silly as it seems. The girl's BL fanfic turns Diao & Rak into a classic uke and seme, even though the real guys don't fit neatly into those categories. Also, her writing makes them interact in a schoolgirl BL way, but their real interaction is way more on fire.
When Diao wanted Rak to stop him from going on the date, there was so much intensity in the scene, but in the story, the moment was just cutesy and lacked the electricity.
And when Diao realized Rak is his soulmate, it actually made my eyes water. He didn't question it - no "but we're both men!". They've actually skillfully written this so that this doesn't feel out of place or sudden. The way Diao looks at Rak hasn't had the burning longing of Rak's gaze at Diao, but there has been something there, and that scene in Ep 12 where he's drunk it was clear he had feelings.
I'm going to be sad to see this go - I really hope it comes back in another season. But I'm afraid the lead actors will be snapped up for other projects - they're both so talented.
That was sort of strange, but the writing & acting are so good. They set up Toh & Nuea to be standard-issue uke & seme (with a very weird uke) but it didn't really turn out that way - Nuea isn't a cocksure patronizing alpha like most semes - he just thinks he's normal and is just as insecure about not being good enough for Toh as Toh is about him. That was potentially an embarassing scene, but Billy seriously delivered it.
Also, I thought Jao & Sky would just be the cute fluffy couple, but that was one of the more steamy scenes I've ever seen in a BL.
Surprise is in a category of his own, but Billy and Heng are so committed and fearless in their roles that they deserve special round of applause.
That was a very strange episode. Everything Pond was great, except I don't understand why he put on a basketball uniform.
The Soh misfires were funny, too, but the resolution was too quick and the writing gave Soh a handwave as if comedy was enough for him to be forgiven for being an unspeakable dick. He should at least have given Mon a handjob, not some useless chaste kiss.
Anyway, I'm not sure how I feel about this episode. There were things in it that were funny, but the incredibly slow line delivery and endless pauses between each phrase really drain a lot of the energy out of this. What is with this trend in Thai BL? It seemed to start with Bite Me and has infected everything. Except maybe Secret Crush On You.
Yeah, JJ is always left in the dust. Sad. hahaYou made me analyze a bunch, but I've only watched two episodes.…
The actors are good - I blame the writers and maybe the director. Kluen is being played a little too dispassionately - there's a point where you start not to care what he feels - if he's like that Nuea will never be happy.
im dying to know why Kluen's acting that way. Does he feel that he's unworthy for love? backstory? Kluen had the…
I agree, definitely not the actors' fault. I'm happy to see Dunk in a leading role - he's really good.
Kluen seems to be saying he's just an emotional idiot, but they're straying pretty far into just plain idiot - I hope there's a good explanation for his behavior. I might buy that he doesn't think he's good enough.
I like Nuea, but the way Kluen is written and acted (as directed) makes him hard to like. I really don't like stories like this that depend on ridiculous miscommunication. Especially if you clearly know someone is in love with you, how hard is it to express reciprocation? If they were high school freshmen, fine, but isn't Kluea 20 or so?
Here's their conversation, distilled:
"I'm in love with you, but because you don't reciprocate and have a girlfriend, I want to get over you."
"Date Typhoon."
Why not "I broke up with my gf 4 years ago because I love you." How do people keep secret for four years that they've broken up? Didn't Nuea take a glance at Kluen's social media? Or the ex-gfs? When miscommunication is this implausible it just makes you throw up your hands.
I don't really want them together. I can tell I feel that way when I find myself thinking "just date your brother. He's hot, he loves you, and he's a doctor." Or Typhoon. Or poor JJ, who never gets lucky.
I feel like I've seen this exact story 100 times now. Dunk is really cute and engaging, but it's not much fun to see him sulking for 5 eps - they should at least make use of his good comic timing.
I'm crying why is kluen so bad at communicating 😠you can say you're "dumb when it comes to love" but honey…
Wll, kissing is actually a very efficient way of communicating, but if you're sending mixed signals, vrything is confusing. Think about exchanging that for a direct statement. "I like you. But date someone esle."
The official subtiles for the show are really well done. Translating, (Subbing), is alot harder than it seems.…
I know! I edited the subtitles for 2 30-min eps of a show and it's really hard and takes quite a while. Most of it is just normal editing of non-native writing, but there are a critical sentences that are ambiguous and take quite a while to get right.
Well, THAT was unexpected. Although it's the same director, so it's not crazy that this is set in the same world as Be Loved In House. And I'm still in love with Hank Wang, so I'm happy to see him.
Why did they appear... Like what was the purpose are they a couple here or what .... Please reply .. thank you
Well, they're lawyers and they have to have clients. Their last case was resolved this ep, right? But the reason for it being the couple from Be Loved In House is that they already have some built-in fans, and the reason for having a gay couple (who obviously still love each other) is so Ze Shou realizes who he loves (clearly Li Gong is already there).
For some reason a lot of ratings went dowm a lot for no reason I can see.
Possibly, but that's a sudden large decline, and it happened on another show that had a lot more voters. There could be something off in the way scores are calculated.
It's hard to imagine why people would suddenly downvote the series - the last 3 eps have been incredible.

Max Lin - THAT is a nice body. Geez.
